Eggs and corn beef hash and home fries
    Tad S.

Wow what a great place to come for breakfast . Right off a couple miles west of the cruise port, it's awesome to have real homie breakfast. I had two eggs with corn beef hash and waitress Britney actually asked me if I wanted it crispy just the idea that she asked set me up for a great breakfast her pleasant smile and funny attitude made her service awesome. My wife had two eggs with sausage and biscuit and wow the biscuit was so homey.. so if your in the area or you driving from cruise to I95 on exit 49 it's in a small business center on the right heading south about 1 mile... So please stop by they have great food and service with a smile...I give them 5 stars...

If you are looking for good home cooking Cozy Corner is for you. Tucked in the corner of a strip mall this establishment offers friendly staff, clean dining rooms and good food

The name of this cafe is a true match. We stopped by after getting off a cruise, and being from out of state this was the perfect cozy breakfast spot. Our server was such a sweetheart and provided wonderful recommendations and service. They had your typical breakfast and lunch diner options and some good specials available as well. Would definitely recommend if you want a good, filling meal.

Trust me, this place is not even close. The plus at the end is Jean Paul, our waiter. He was so great that by the end of the meal, I asked him if he was forced to work here after losing a bet. He laughed and said, "No." I put in an order for some fish tacos and a Huge double-decker Club sandwich. As stated, Jean Paul was an exceptional waiter, and as such, our food was out quickly and served as ordered. I went from the best fish tacos in Brevard at Island IX to the absolute worst, most foul fish tacos in Brevard, if not the entirety of the Sunshine State. The fish was mealy and tough enough to almost request a galloch knife to dine, the breading flavorless and the tortilla stale. Look at the pictures and tell me those look like they were made with fresh ingredients. The side of fries, while fried to a lovely golden brown, were bottom-of-the-barrel food service tripe and, unless you loaded them with salt, were flavorless. What a combo! Next up on the Big Boys perceptible palate was the Huge Double Decker Club sandwich. This was the saving grace and the reason this was not a Swill Alert. If I had stopped at the appallingly awful fish tacos, it would have been. However, this Huge Double Decker Club was delicious. The bread was toasted to perfection, the bacon was crispy, the tomato was fresh, the lettuce fresh, and the turkey was stacked high. All in all, this was a very good take on the sandwich that has been around since the late 1800s. The side of collard greens, however, is another story. Once again, you have bottom-of-the-barrel food service industrial-strength canned greens. Yuck. They were worse than the greens we got for school lunch. Those were actually not bad. The Big Boy says, "If you get lost out here and haven't eaten in three days, I would still skip this food wasteland."

I went there on Taco Tuesday, Unfortunately even though tacos were the special, they had no taco shells , hard or soft. Their collards had too much sugar . Fried shrimp appeared to have been breaded with grits instead of cornmeal. Hush puppies were raw in the middle. Their cook/chef must have been having an off night. Service was good Casual dining on the water. Will return to give a second chance.

We grabbed seats at the bar, and right out of the gate the experience was mission-ready. The girls behind the bar were awesome, friendly, attentive, and just had that effortless vibe that makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. Now the food... wow. Everything came out fresh, hot, and absolutely dialed in. The burgers were stacked and juicy, the sandwiches loaded, and those sidewinder fries? Forget it. Crispy, golden perfection. You can tell nothing sat under a heat lamp, this was all cooked to order and launched straight to the table. Best way I can describe it given the location... This wasn't just good food, it was a full-on flavor liftoff. Like sitting a few miles from Cape Canaveral and watching a rocket punch through the atmosphere, everything about this meal just took off and didn't look back. Great people, killer food, laid-back atmosphere... this place hits on all cylinders. We'll definitely be back for another launch

When we arrived, we did notice the outside could use a little TLC, but once inside, it was very clean and tidy. We were immediately greeted by both the hostess and bartender, and they were very friendly. We were seated right away and our drink orders were taken quickly. It took us a few minutes to go through the menu since we weren't familiar with the restaurant, and there are quite a few items to choose from. We ordered the "Crack Mac Snack" (macaroni and cheese) and added pulled pork and the biscuit bread. The food came out quickly, and we were not disappointed. The biscuit bread was absolutely amazing, rich, soft, and delicious (maybe a little too generous with the butter on top, but still delicious). It's a thick, hearty piece, about two inches high and roughly four inches square. The mac and cheese was a generous portion and easily enough to share, and it was really good. The homemade BBQ sauce was also a highlight. The only slight miss was my husband's Coke, which wasn't very sweet, possibly a calibration issue with the machine. Overall, this is definitely a spot worth trying if you're in Cocoa Beach and want something different. There's a lot on the menu, and we'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, the service was again, spotty. It took about 10 minutes for the server to come to the table to acknowledge us and take drink orders. All in all, it took over an hour and a half for a slow house Sunday lunch. Although I know that the server is not responsible for the food that comes out of the kitchen, they are the last to set eyes on the food before bringing it to the table. On to the food. Four 4 adults and one child, we ordered peel and eat shrimp, kid's chicken tenders with fries, a cup of soup, the salad special, a regular salad from the main menu and a regular sandwich from the main menu. Each order of fries that were brought out had obviously been pre-fried and held to be served later, rather than fried to order. We had asked for the child's food to be served ASAP, rather than waiting for the rest of the order. When it was brought out, the fries were obviously old; they were unevenly warm, limp and had obviously been under a heat lamp for some time. The fries were returned to the kitchen and a fresh order requested. The fresh order was hot, crispy and perfectly golden brown. When the sandwich came out it was served dry, with no dressing or aioli, and the side of fries were again, old. The server commented that the slaw should have been tossed in dressing. We again asked the server to bring fresh fries, along with aioli which per the menu should have been on the sandwich. The peel and eat shrimp were served raw. Not slightly under, raw. We requested that the shrimp be brought to temperature and said we didn't need them to re-fire a new order. The kitchen could just bring the same order up to the correct temperature. The kitchen could have done it by putting the shrimp in the microwave or the flatiron for a minute. Instead they threw them back on the grill and incinerated them - and then the server brought out the burnt offerings. The manager was kind enough to take the shrimp off the bill when he stopped by the table and we brought it to his attention, but again, the server is the last person to put eyes on the food. The old limp, cold fries and the raw and then incinerated shrimp should never have been brought to the table. This was a failure of both the front of the house and the back of the house. The ambiance at Dolphins remains wonderful, this is a terrific location. Relaxing with an adult beverage and watching the boats go up and down the canal and the draw bridge open and close is entertaining for everyone. The only thing lacking is good food and good service.

The fresh slaw and pico complimented the shrimp. The fries were piping hot and they didn't need any ketchup. My mom ordered the Blackened Grouper Sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich has remoulade sauce, Bibb lettuce, and sliced tomato. The sweet potato fries were cold, but they quickly brought fresher hot ones to the table. She loved it. My dad got the Samoan Burger which has two 4 oz. smash patties, pineapple-bacon jam, cheddar cheese, fried egg, dill pickles, romaine lettuce, and J. Since the sweet potato fries were cold they brought us 2 free desserts. We got the Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake & Pineapple Upside Down Cake.
