My Mc Donalds order because the service in subway was absolutely TERRIBLE!! Thank god it was there or i would have been stuck eating a disgusting sub sandwich. The interstate highway should at least have good service if not food. The food in there is not even worth the wait, i gave them grace for about thirty minutes before i walked out and gave in to Mc Donalds. I thought it was common sense if you work in a SUBWAY that you should know how to properly cut a loaf bread but no!!? They cut it from the top down, i don't want to pay for a sandwich that doesn't have an even amount of bread on each side or enough meat for how uneven the bread is. I saw the disappointment in everyones face as they saw their sandwich being prepared, they were to polite to deny and to invested to reject such a awful, disappointing disgraceful sandwich, 100% not worth any money!! Absolute worst Subway I have been to. Employees while not outright ride, they definitely were not friendly. For three very simple orders we had to repeat ourselves multiple times. My son ordered a foot long roast beef with American cheese, there were two pieces of roast beef and 2 pieces of cheese. When asked why there wasn't more on the sandwich as there is at other stores the employee just stared at us. Definitely not worth the $30 we paid for bread. Very disappointing. read more

This place is awful! I ordered online, two sandwiches. Both very easy sandwiches! We picked them up and one came with NOTHING ON IT! The other was partly right but the other part was what was suppose to be on the other sandwich! We took them back and hen we went back in they said oh they were wrong. Driving north out of Omaha on I-29 I felt myself growing hungry. The sign said food at this exit and I turned off. Since it is close to the freeway it was quick to get on and off. There was a McDonalds next door, but I felt Subway may be a bit healthier and headed in. The store was clean, I was greeted promptly, and served promptly. This is pretty good as far as I am concerned with a Subway. The one thing that made me grumble is after I asked for and got my order to go there were no napkins in the bag! Heck, this is the first time that has happened to me at a Subway in a long time. For those of you who don't want a sandwich, this subway is a combo with pizza and ice cream. This makes it easy to cater to a few tastes without having to leave the store. If you are in Iowa in the winter this is an important consideration. read more

My husband and I were heading south out of Iowa and decided to stop at our next exit for food. This was our next exit and we pulled into the Subway. Easy to access from the interstate which was great. The store was clean and the bathrooms were nice. We were able to pick up our order to go and the sandwiches were great with ample toppings. The standard bad subway. 3 unenthusiastic, relatively unhygienic unprofessionals burning sandwich's and cutting bread weird to allow sandwich entrails to plop uncerimoniously onto the nearest surface. Bad to the point of after her mistake, we locked eyes and I said, that's not going to work, and she passed it down the line, where the next lady burnt it. Maybe this was an attempt to weld it back together with heat? All she accomplished was a charred mess. The star at all is for the nice lady at the register. read more

Missouri Valley is a frequent stop for us on road trips to see family and the healthy food options are limited, so we often end of at this Subway. Our visit today was extremely disappointing. Both restrooms were a mess, with the women's restroom having no toilet paper. This uncleanliness was unfortunately also a part of the food preparation process. No attempt was made to change gloves between sandwiches despite the gloves being covered in dressing. This dressing ended up covering my wrapper. The knife was just as bad - it was briefly dipped in water to clean off the same dressing, but the dressing remained and got into my husband's sandwich when cut. I also found bits of cheese on my sandwich that was not supposed to have any. Thankfully, none of our family has any type allergies or conditions where cross-contamination might be an issue, but it is still really gross. I'm hoping the owners will see this feedback and make changes to improve service and cleanliness. read more

This restaurant as well as its assistant manager who refused to tell me his name, are horrible and racist. My black family and I were refused service before we even got in the door by the man yelling, very loudly, " we're closed!!!" Twice. I asked when do you close and he replied 9pm.... mind y'all it was only 8:50pm and they still had three people in line and a full dining room ( so it wasn't like they were closing the doors anytime soon). I feel very strongly that our family was turned away partially because they are lazy but mainly because we were the only black family there. The best part is that when I went back in to ask the man for a corporate number he began yelling and cursing at me telling me to leave... breaks my heart my children were treated that way! read more

I am unfortunately forced to frequent this Subway from time to time and I'm always disappointed. The restaurant does not seem clean and the staff seem to view customers as an inconvenience. In fact at times they are downright rude. I would not recommend. read more

PLEASE NOTE: I made a yelp account just to leave a review of probably the worst subway experience I have ever had. I was with a group of four picking up food for ourselves as well as a salad for my grandpa. Coming into the restaurant I wanted a turkey and ham footlong with American and Provolone and onions and oregano on Italian bread. A sandwich that would be PRETTY EASY TO MAKE! Now I had just woken up not too long ago, I was still waking up so my mind wasn't exactly making decisions the fastest. I begin telling the girl making the sandwiches and she was not nice yet not horrible. She was however horrible to my other group members including my cousin from New York, my sister, and her boyfriend. When I got to the dressing station a man approached the counter asking me what I want. I say "onions." He grabs a fistful of onions and throws it at the sandwich. "Anything else?" I take about 2 SECONDS to think about what else I could maybe want and with it besides just oregano and onion and within that two seconds I am given the most hateful stare I have ever received from a subway worker like I was taking eons to make a decision during the biggest dinner rush of their lives when there was probably only about four other people in the restaurant besides us. He seem like he was going to rip my throat out if I asked for one more thing so I just got what I planned on getting. Once my sister comes over to this man to ask him to make a salad he slams the metal bowl on the counter chucks two fists of lettuce and spinach into it like they are spears impaling his enemies, takes out a chopper and violently starts eviscerating my grandpa salad while looking extremely irritated with us for simply asking him to do more then make a sub. My grandpa didn't even want to lettuce in his salad he just wanted spinach so not only did I feel like I was being served by the biggest asshole in subway history he also couldn't even make the salad right. I go there a few times a week for lunch. The service is great. Food is great. It's a little pricey tho.

If i could rate this as negative 100 stars i would. I was in Missouri Valley visiting my 91 year old grandfather. He really wanted subway so my family stopped in to fulfill his wish. Please note: i live in New York City where direct and not exactly friendly service is to be expected. This surpassed any experience I have ever had in a food establishment as the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Both the workers there were so rude. If you don't want to smile or say hello, that's cool, but there is no need to yell at people to pick their toppings and eye roll if they take more than a millisecond to make a decision. We walked out feeling like our food was made with hate. Umm guys? Can you not take your aggression out on my 91 year old grandfathers salad? Thanks.
