The tacos I had were very warm and very filling, I was able to take some home for lunch the next day. The Cantarita was ok, seemed like it wasn't something that is usually made and it seemed more like it came in a bowl than the typical dish ware. The servers were very friendly and was able to help out when we had questions. The place itself was very well decorated and didn't seem cluttered. They have a lot of metallic art so that was pretty cool.

When we were sat at our table we ordered the trio appetizer which has fresh guacamole, cheese dip and salsa. They brought us the salsa trio only and disappeared so we ate it. When he returned I asked about the guac and cheese and he ran away to go get it instead of explaining. He returned with the exact same salsas lol 10 minutes later he brought the guacamole and cheese so we ended up with 3 appetizers. My husband and I ordered the "jam bowl" which is shrimp chicken and chorizo. It comes jambalaya style over rice and is spicy. (Not too hot spicy but make your nose run spicy.) also the chorizo is overpowering and that is all you can really taste. It is difficult to tell what you are eating as it all looks the same in the brown sauce. My daughter ordered Asada bowl. She said the steak was good but everything else was "ok" We might try it again in the future when we are downtown.

The monstrous beer coolers were 80% filled with Mexican Beers and Sodas. The menu took me 20 minutes to review and so many choices. I settled on the #33 combo and a house margarita. After about 20 Minutes my 4 item combo came out. 1) Relleno - outstanding and done correctly 2) enchilada- surprisingly good. Real beef not ground 3) soft taco - I would have been content with 2 4) Bean Tostada - last to eat, a little soggy, but good. A 6 page menu. A bit overwhelming. So many things to try.
