Did an online order when I got back to house I noticed my sandwich didn't have any cheese. I went back to store and asked them if they can remake it she said no I then asked for my refund she said okay we'll remake it. She ask if she can use the same meat on my old sandwich for my new one which was already warmed up. I said no then it would be warmed up twice that's not good. She puts new meat on my sandwich and toast it, it comes out burnt and she was about to put sauce on it I said "I don't want that, that's burnt". I didn't even eat the food ok. i'm writing this solely because of ONE rude worker. I had taken the bus over here and i had needed to pee. I needed to pee really bad and was two seconds away from peeing my pants. I literally ran across the street to get to this subway in order to use the bathroom. I get out of the restroom to this lady (name: unknown). This is exactly how the conversation went: Her: "Are you buying a sandwich?" Me: "Oh no, I was just using the bathroom." I went in there to order many sandwiches! Which I ordered more than 7 and the manager there was sooooooooo rude to a Mexican worker he had there. Management is Indian , they treated her and screamed at her in front of all customers and workers without ever apologizing or feeling remorse. I went into this Subway yesterday around 7pm, and expected to use the 2 footlongs for $13.99 coupon on my subs. It wasn't until after I was rung up that I was informed that the coupon doesn't apply to the sweet onion teriyaki chicken (this NEVER happens and I go to Subway a lot) and they charged me $30. I asked for a refund and to remake the sandwiches so that I could use the coupon, and the employee Karr proceeded to yell at me, began cussing and was outrageously rude to me and the other employee who rang me up. She yelled to him "I'm sick of this customer's shit!" And yelled at him that it's his fault for not asking me if I was using a coupon before making my order. She told him to THROW THE SANDWICHES IN MY FACE, said "I know how your people are!" (I'm a Muslim woman who wears a hijab). She berated me and the other employee working there during the entire altercation which was about half an hour, I would love for the footage to be pulled to show that I was polite and respectful and didn't do or say anything to warrant such ugliness on Karr's behalf. Tony, the other employee, was so kind and was the only one to diffuse the situation and give me the refund. I just can't believe management allows Karr to verbally abuse Subway employees, let alone in front of customers! Karr needs to be FIRED and management needs to completely change the disgusting atmosphere they've created at this establishment! Eat at any other Subway location, the one in the John's Incredible Pizza plaza always has great service and makes great subs. Don't subject yourself to disrespect all over a meal. read more

Got here at around 8pm on a Saturday. It was pretty empty. I think it was the owner that helped me out. She was really nice. I saw her change gloves as she was handling other things besides my sandwich. (I know she's supposed to but how many actually do?) So that was nice to see. I had 4 sandwhiches to be made and she made them fast and to what I wanted and they were nice and full. I got soup as well and she even offered to make it hotter so it wouldn't get cold by the time I got home. She packaged it with a napkin underneath so it wouldn't burn me. I've been coming to this subway location for years. The owner/manager is really nice and attentive. The sandwich makers have always been great as well. The restaurant is always clean and the hours are great. My only real gripe is the parking lot, it's difficult to get out during busy times, especially if you're going towards McHenry. I've also noticed that all subways seem to be stingy with the vegetables now, especially the onions and peppers. I guess I should just ask for more. If you're ever in that area I suggest parting this place a visit. The fast food restaurants nearby aren't the best, but subway definitely has them all beat. read more

I went in and ordered a foot long blt with every kind of meat added they had to put the greens on the side ;) All in all it was a great experience and I highly recommend this subway. Subway sandwiches as we all know are a great quick healthy meal. They however can be lacking when it comes to meat "where's the beef" could be in order, not a surprise. This subway however tends to be very generous when it come to the helping portion of the sandwiches. So much more in the area of meat that it is worth mentioning. This subway is always busy for a good reason. They have fast and friendly service. I love how are there food is fresh and made to order.

This place is like walking into third world country where their hand literally shakes to put ingredients on your sandwich. They skimp so much it's obvious & ruins the subway experience I used to remember. I'm hoping it's this location and not all subways have gone this desperate and cheap? I've gone here a lot lately and the poor employees must be under a lot of pressure from the cheap owner because she is always talking her language (assuming Indian) while they're making your sandwich telling them something negative obviously otherwise speak English. Completely rude. They ignore you when you ask for extra tomato or cucumber and even if you say again "please extra cucumber etc, now having asked twice they still give you less than what a normal sandwich would have let alone extra. Mind you subway I used to (prior to this cheapness over extra cucumbers) come to Subway ATLEAST 3 times a week. Ordering for myself, co workers and family. However no more I will go to Togo's if this is your new look (Cheap & Stingy) your loosing $ and customers. How sad that you will loose a lot of revenue over cucumbers etc, don't you realize IM SPECIFICALLY talking to you MCHENRY MANGER/OWNER that when a customer asks for extra of a certain veggie you are not loosing money because they also ask for NOne if another type of veggie it equals out. The last time I was at this Subway was a while back. The prices aren't bad for the size of the sandwich but the sandwiches become soggy fast and they aren't the most flavorful. This is an ok place for lunch if you don't have enough money on you to get something from Togos or Quiznos. read more
