But the LJS menu was really limited to fish and chicken - the drink came in a KFC cup, we got KFC sporks, and the bag was KFC. Not hard to tell which restaurant held the upper hand at this location! Taste - the hush puppies were hot but definitely oily. The fish breading was ok - and crispy- but oily too. If fried in hot enough oils and drained properly I think would have tasted heaps better! It's deep fried fish, shrimp, and chicken. It's what you would think it would be. When we went, service was quick and the tables/floor were clean. Soda machine was working fine. The only thing that is somewhat annoying (and not unique to here) is that you have to ask for iced tea, which given that staff doesn't seem to check on the front counter unless someone enters the store, can sometimes take a bit of time. Nonetheless, I had the experience I expected at a fast-food fish place.
