It had good reviews on Yelp, so I decided to give it a go. And I'm glad I did. Everything was excellent. The outdoor seating was nice, the workers were friendly, my waitress Jae was very attentive, and most importantly, the fish sandwich was top notch. It certainly seemed to be freshly made and not frozen. I ordered fries on the side in addition to Cole slaw. The slaw was nice and creamy. While I generally don't like battered fries, these were pretty tasty. The only slight negative was the cost. At almost $30 for my sandwich plus a beer, it seemed a little pricey to me. But sometimes you have to pay for quality. I will return.

The manager was on top of everything and personally brought our food out. In my…read moreexperience, Raising Cane's stands as a beacon of excellence, rivaling only Chick-fil-A in its pursuit of customer satisfaction. Every visit I've made to Raising Cane's has reinforced my belief that this establishment prioritizes not just the food they serve but the entire dining experience. From the moment you step into Raising Cane's, you are greeted by an impeccably clean environment--an essential aspect that speaks volumes about management's commitment to quality. Cleanliness sets the stage for a positive eating experience, and it is evident that franchisees and store managers take immense pride in their locations. In contrast, many fast-food chains overlook these details, leading to a mediocre experience that fails to impress. Moreover, the employees at Raising Cane's exhibit such positive attitudes elevating the entire atmosphere. After all, a friendly face can turn a simple meal into a delightful outing. The cashiers treat every customer with warmth, ensuring that your order is processed swiftly and accurately, whether you're dining in or taking advantage of the drive-thru. It is this dedication to a pleasant customer experience that makes me eager to return time and again. As for the kitchen crew, their efficiency is noteworthy. With a steady flow of customers, one might expect delays, yet my meals have consistently arrived hot and fresh. Their attention to detail--like regularly maintaining equipment and keeping grease traps emptied--ensures that each bite is not only delectable but also safe. This level of commitment stands out against competitors like McDonald's, where inconsistencies diminish the dining experience. Menu: https://www.raisingcanes.com/menu/ The star of the show, of course, is the food itself. Those golden brown, juicy chicken strips cooked to perfection, paired with crispy fries and their signature house dipping sauce, are simply unmatched. Flavors within are well balanced, and it's clear that every item on the menu is prepared with care and the right amount of seasoning. Whether I'm enjoying a meal in-house or grabbing it on the go, I know I'm getting top-notch quality every time. Additionally, their soda fountain offers an impressive variety of flavorings, allowing me to customize my drink to my liking--a small but significant touch that enhances the overall experience. It's these thoughtful elements that make Raising Cane's not just a fast food stop, but a place I genuinely look forward to visiting. While the menu might be limited compared to some competitors, it is undeniably effective. Each item serves a purpose, and I find comfort in knowing what to expect when I order. However, I would gladly welcome a thoughtful expansion of their menu; after all, innovation is key to maintaining customer interest. Raising Cane's--and Chick-fil-A, by extension--truly epitomizes what fast food should represent: high quality, quick service, and a focus on customer satisfaction. My experiences have been nothing short of exceptional, and I will continue to support this location as long as their standards remain consistent & make dining enjoyable. If you seek an unforgettable fast food experience that combines taste, cleanliness, and remarkable service, look no further than Raising Cane's. You won't be disappointed! However, since I was touring a few Frank Lloyd Wright houses, I had not eaten since my early morning continental breakfast at the Comfort Inn in Connellsville. Mindlessly following the Google Maps directions, I arrived in a town called Indian Head and didn't have any expectations about what I'd find in this family-friendly roadside diner. Without hesitation, I ordered the $13.99 Grilled Chicken Salad. I was quite impressed with what arrived. There were huge pieces of grilled chicken breast, tender and moist, with cucumber, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, onions, beets, shredded cheddar, and a pickled egg with ranch dressing on the side (Photo 9). Sounds basic, I know, but it was hearty, fresh, and genuinely satisfying. Midway through my salad, a plate of fries arrived (Photo 10). I wasn't expecting it, but the server apologized for the delay. I only noticed later that the fries were mentioned in the menu. I certainly didn't mind because they were hot, tasty, and not at all greasy. Even though I was getting full and kinda anxious to get going, I was rather hypnotized by the refrigerator of freshly made pies. I just couldn't help myself and ordered a $4.29 slice of Banana Meringue Pie (Photo 8). I don't think I've had homemade pie that good since gorging at Valois back in my olden grad school days in the South Side of Chicago. What a nice surprise to have such a delicious square meal in a place called Indian Head. There are choices in this area, but we opted for what we thought would be fast. We should have gone elsewhere if we were looking for fast. This McDonald's has been here for decades. Outlasting the go cart track, multiple rebuilds of the Sheetz, and stores closing down nearby. We pulled in, later in the evening, and the parking lot was nearly empty. We actually wondered if the lobby was closed. But we took the chance to come inside. Like most locations, this one focuses too much on the drive thru. Which became apparent when we had placed our orders and waiting long than you should have to at a fast food place. What was surprising was the customer service. The lady that did end up serving our food to us was a delight. She was funny, didn't take any grief, and if I remember correctly, was singing while she worked. I loved that she put my Dad in his place. My Dad was being a bit too much asking for things that he could have grabbed himself. The food is what you would expect. I did give their new sandwich a try. It was decent and possibly too much food for one meal. The Big Arch is basically the Big Mac in a trench coat. Better cheese and fried onion straws. This location went through a change when McDonald's wanted to grow up, but they held onto some nostalgia things. Like Ronald McDonald outside on a bench and some of the old roofline. But, like I said, not many people will care since they are in the drive thru.
