Captain D's Please!…read more Murphy, NC is my quick get away go to. There is not an over-abundance of dining venues in Murphy, NC. I have been to almost every restaurant. Sometimes you just want a decent grab and go fast food option and I'm a pescatarian . One day I chose Captain D's in Murphy on US-46. A GREAT DECISION ! It wasn't my first time trying them but on this occasion they took me back to old school Captain D's. I had the lobster rolls, Seafood Trio, Giant Fish Sandwich and I rolled the dice on some of their fried oysters. I was thoroughly impressed. The lobster roll was what you would expect, the fish was fried to perfection, fries were on point, coleslaw was par, and the oysters were delicious and fried just right which is why there is no picture. It was clean and service was also good. Bravo.
