I went to this store 2 days ago to order pizzas for carry out. They have instituted new policy! You have to ask the prices!! There is no pricing on the wall or on the printed menu! That makes it very frustrating to make informed choices on what is a better deal. I felt like a 2 yr old asking pricing instead of grandma. Very weird and frustrating!!! I was told the reason for this was that corporate made them get new menus and was costly, then the prices changed. Their solution is to not publish any prices!! Beware!! Check all prices and coupons on the internet and order! Guessing prices are put on internet by corporate. Forego stopping in to order or you'll face what I did. read more

Visiting Hiawassee and ordered delivery for football Saturday. Not disappointed. Our all meat pizza was packed with meat! Could have used more cheese but overall was very good. We also ordered the Antipasto Salad which was a generous portion. Finally i recommend the sweet tea! We ordered a gallon and it is the best sweet tea I have every had, including my own! This is your standard pizza buffet. But more awesome, because they don't just do cheese, pepperoni, veggie, and meat-lovers. While we were there, the kitchen was busting out pizza varieties like hawaiian, BBQ chicken, and cheeseburger. Not to mention dessert pizzas- I had a few bites of bavarian creme "pizza" too! NEVER GOING BACK. For the second time they got my order wrong. Their kitchen doesn't seem to know the difference between a green olive and a green pepper. I ordered olives and instead they covered the pizza in chopped green pepper. So much of it there was no way I could ever pick it off. They said the best they could do is refund me $4 for the green olives (I paid $17 for this pizza I can't eat) or I could make my family wait for dinner, drive the 40 minutes round trip and get a new pizza. Pick one or the other. What we did instead is green McDonald's and thru the pizza in the garbage. NEVER. GOING. BACK. read more

You want to eat but it is after 8pm and everywhere in a 25 mile radius closes in 30 minutes and you don't want to get the bottom of the barrel of the chili at the DQ, so go here! I know we are supposed to be accepting of poor service due to the lack of help, but this place goes beyond bad. We order a pizza for delivery and were told it would be one hour. After one and a half hours we called to cancel and we were told it was on the way. An additional half hour later and I called again to cancel. It was now 8;30 and too late for us to eat pizza for dinner. The person that answered the phone argued with me when I said I wanted to cancel, because it was on it's way. If it had left the store when I first called, it meant it was at least a half hour "on it's way" and would be cold. I paid the driver anyway and threw the pizza out. Papa's ; if's it's going to take two hours, just tell us and we will go elsewhere read more

We arrived from out of town, thoroughly exhausted and not wanting to cook. We didn't think we'd find anywhere that would deliver to our cabin, but Papa's Pizza did! GPS doesn't route to the cabin so we texted the directions we were provided. The very kind delivery man was extremely patient as we couldn't really help with further clarifying the directions. He was committed to delivering the pizza and did locate the cabin. We were incredibly grateful! Pizza was still warm, and breadsticks were quite tasty. Disappointed Thoroughly disappointed in my first experience with Papas. We were so excited after seeing the reviews online and readily used the online order platform. We received a message saying our pizza would be delivered in one hour, which seemed like a lot but given the positive reviews we were willing to give it a shot. An hour passed and no pizza was in sight. We called about ten times with no luck being connected. After about ten calls we finally got in touch with a real person only to be disconnected as soon as we gave our name. Finally after about a dozen more calls and thirty more minutes we got in touch with someone who stated that our pizza would be ready in thirty additional minutes. With no concern over our wait time and after two and a half hours and over 35 calls we finally received a less than satisfactory pizza. Would not recommend and will not be patronizing again. read more

The ingredients tasted fresh and the pizza was clearly made to order (and not just sitting under a heat lamp waiting for its next victim). I liked this pizza buffet. The salad part was some sad looking lettuce and some toppings so I skipped it. But the pizza was good. Different flavored, Mexican, Hawaiian, supreme, good cheese garlic bread sticks. Really good cinnamon dessert sticks. There was pasta we didn't try.
