I ordered 2 black forest ham salads thru doordash at 10:30pm on a Monday! I received NO LETTUCE nor Dressing, just chopped veggies and meat. This is a convenient location especially when you get hungry after going out and coming home late. The regular workers are friendly and attentive. Most Subways can turn out a sandwich faster than burger drive thrus. Unfortunately the new hires are quite the opposite. Today I was asked if I wanted subway for dinner, but I wasn't feeling it. You just get so burnt out on subway. BUT...... the staff at this location ( Mina) completely changed my mind and convinced me to try something new. So I got the sub of the day- turkey. I made it a melt(white bread, turkey, provolone cheese, tomato, spinach, garlic aioli, garlic olive oil dressing. Entire sandwich extra toasted. IT WAS DELICIOUS! Mina absolutely loves what she does and it really shows! She's very friendly, bubbly and always has a smile on her face. She knows her job well and offers creatives ideas outside the usual plain sandwiches. Todays visit really felt different and I was very happy with my choice. I have never experienced such bad and condescending treatment from an employee anywhere in my life. My friend and I came in here yesterday to grab a quick bite. We didn't agree if we were taking our food to go to our next destination or if we were going to eat it in the restaurant. So what ended up occurring is that my friend asked for a bag to go and I did the same. As we walked towards the door my friend changed her mind and we decided to eat at the restaurant quickly instead. The manager was cleaning/mopping and she decided to express her anger over us deciding to eat at the restaurant. What continued was a string of condescending insults as we were eating our food. It seemed like she was projecting a lot of anger. My friend and I sat there in disbelief as the manager continued a rant about how much she can "say whatever the fuck she wants because she's the manager" and that "her parents the owners don't give a shit if she provides us with bad customer service". More power to her I suppose. Overall, it was a terrible experience that included a lot of shouting from her part. People don't go out to eat to have employees mistreat or intrude with their personal agendas. Nor do people go in to restaurants to have an employee preach to them their personal beliefs. There are boundaries and this Subway manager crossed them all. I definitely think she was projecting some kind of dissatisfaction with her life so I ultimately just felt bad for her. Edgar is truly amazing not only with his creativity when it comes to making a sandwich but his personality shines every time I visit. When I come to get sandwiches it's usually in the evening and Edgar is always eager to assist with a fantastic attitude and a big smile. Per my request Edgar put lettuce on my sandwich. I then asked for spinach, Edgar suggested the lettuce be taken off, then place spinach on the sandwich due to the lettuce potentially weighing the spinach down.
