    Turkey dinner sandwich with hair

Absolutely disgusting. Look at the raw chicken and the hair in the sandwich. Absolutely horrific. Never will eat there

I've been coming to The Carving Board for many years! The food options are diverse and super tasty. They will have something for you regardless of the mood you are in. They are happy to customize your order if needed. They also have vegetarian options. The manager/owner is one of the nicest people I've encountered. See you there for lunch!

SERVICE: Super cool staff, clean facility, and free lot parking (back). We stayed for literally 3 hrs chatting. Was able to keep a running tab. First time visiting. Everything was cool. FOOD: Ordered the Turkey Dinner sandwich. Could have used more cranberry sauce for me but was good. Came with homemade chips that had a nice butter crunchy with a soft center. Fries were fine. Also ordered the fried Oreos sprinkled with powdered sugar. With humor, I think I'm too old for these as the grease needed a pop to kill the grease lol. WELL: I'd return, but only if in the area.

I've passed by this place many times and finally took the opportunity to try it. I wasn't disappointed. I was greeted immediately upon coming in. I had placed my order over the phone so it would be ready weighing arrived. For my first time I went with the double smash burger with fries. I had pickles added. The meat was deliciously flavorful and the bread had a sweet touch that I loved. Tree he fries were skinner than I expected based on the pictures online. They were also smaller pieces than I desired. They were good nonetheless. All in all nice restaurant. Seating is offered inside. Free parking is available in the back and the service was very welcoming. I look forward to going back and trying something else next time.

This place is great. The sandwich was fantastic and the staff was helpful and polite. The presentation of of the food was really good too.

Wow. Killer sandwiches with great presentation. Everything is so fresh and the staff were very welcoming. Highly recommend!

The service was exceptional from the moment we stepped inside. We were greeted with warm smiles and recommendations. I was unimpressed, however, with my meal. I ordered the chicken Parm, which is a popular item on the menu and looked really good. The sauce was smooth, not too tangy and had a nice flavor to it. I believe the chicken breast though was butterflied in a way that went with the grain instead of against it, causing it to be chewy when it was coated and fried. I was able to eat about the quarter of the sandwich but the rest was inedible and very tough to bite through. My husband ordered the Wolfgang sandwich which was a turkey sandwich with goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, and pesto that was delicious. He ordered a side of the kale pasta which he liked. The line never ended and regulars kept coming in to grab their order, so it seems like a very hot spot for lunch in Tarzana. Five stars for service and I'd like to return and order differently next time.

The food, service, ambiance and parking were all 5/5! Will definitely be coming back. I enjoyed that they had other options for fountain drinks besides just being sodas. I for one, don't really care for sodas. They had black and green iced tea and lemonade and pink lemonade. They also sell cold brews-vanilla and mocha. The gentleman working at the register was super friendly and the cooks were all so fast and efficient. There is plenty of parking in the back. There's only one restroom stall but they keep it clean. There's plenty of seating inside or outside. Came here after a nice hike up at Topanga scenic view. Next time you're around the area you should stop by for fresh hot or cold sandwiches and everything is always made fresh.

Let just start with Cricca's Deli makes some seriously well-crafted sandwiches. You have several choices of bread, and I went with the soft roll, which tasted bakery-fresh and was the perfect match for the sandwich. The large subs are truly large -- easily big enough to share between two people. It's a small Italian deli that hits the way you want it to. To the right as soon as you walk in, there's seats and a table where you can wait for your to go order or to eat there. The entire shop was clean, neat and orderly. It's sensory overload walking in. There's a lot going on. The menu is massive. I knew what I wanted after doing some homework before arriving so I was ready. The lady that took my order couldn't have been more of a pleasure to deal with. I placed my order, paid, tipped and sat down. A few minutes later, I had what is probably the best sandwich I've had this year. I should have sat in the parking lot and enjoyed it but I wanted the elbow room because I knew this was a monster. After I got home and unwrapped this behemoth, I instantly knew it was worth the drive. The Dillinger (which is what I ordered) has Pastrami, Meatballs, Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Mozz Cheese, Garlic Butter and Marinara Sauce. If there's a better (big back) sandwich, I'll wait for your reply. This was soooooo gooood. In every bite you could taste each ingredient separately and it was an explosion of flavors. I ordered a small cup of their marinara sauce to dip/drizzle on each bite.....couldn't have been a better decision. Worth it. The 3 ladies that were working the front counter (around noon on 4/23) were the best. Just an all around great experience and fantastic food. I'll be back soon FOR SURE!!!!

I ordered a the Dom and a supremo on their website at about 1:30pm on a Friday. It was ready at 2:30, which seemed like a crazy long wait for a sandwich, especially considering the place was empty when I got there. But alas. I wonder if it would have been quicker for me to just go in and order in person. Anyway, the wait (and 30 minutes of wandering around target to kill time) was worth it. The supremo - it's basically a slice of pepperoni cheese bread. Which is delicious. My late uncle's friend used to make us a pepperoni bread every year at Christmas and try as I might, I could never make it as good as hers. This one is closer than I've gotten! They forgot the side of Marinara for dipping, though, but it's fine because I have no chill and inhaled this thing on the drive home. While I was expecting something a little bigger based on the photo and the price, it was tasty and I would prooooobably get it again. The Dom - the real reason I'm here: a sandwich! I asked them to swap out the provolone for pepper jack, as I do not like provolone. The ratio of all the ingredients was spot on! The bread was soft with a little chew. Everything was fresh. Sandwich was a good size overall. 10/10, would eat again. Excited to go back to try a pizza or maybe a meatball sub or lasagna!

My husband purchased several knishes from Mort's Deli. We understood these to be meat knishes based upon how they were described and priced. After bringing them home and cutting them open, we discovered that they were not true meat knishes, but rather potato-and-meat knishes. Had the product been accurately described, we would not have purchased it. We specifically sought meat knishes and paid the corresponding price (see the receipts attached). When I contacted the store to address the issue, employee Kate maintained that the potato-and-meat knish should nevertheless be considered a meat knish. Regardless of the terminology used internally by the store, the product was not what we reasonably understood we were purchasing. The situation became even more troubling when I repeatedly requested copies of the receipts. During the course of the dispute, I was informed that the receipts were not accessible. However, the receipts were ultimately produced and later emailed to me as ordered by the police. Notably, the receipts explicitly identified the product as a "Brisket Knish" and reflected the corresponding charge. The receipts therefore became an important part of understanding how the product had been represented and sold. Rather than resolving the matter promptly and professionally, manager Gail continued to escalate the situation unnecessarily. Ultimately, Gail instigated the calling of law enforcement to the store. Two police officers responded to the scene. Following their investigation, the store was ordered by the police to produce the receipts. The police officers became involved in what should have been a routine customer-service matter. With their assistance, the receipts were eventually produced after previously being misrepresented as inaccessible. What makes this experience particularly upsetting is that my husband is severely disabled, partially paralyzed, and walks with a cane. What should have been a simple request for fair treatment escalated into an unnecessary confrontation involving law enforcement. The needless inconvenience, travel, physical burden, and emotional distress inflicted upon both my husband and me were unfair and unjustifiable. As loyal customers, we found the entire experience shocking and disturbing. We sent the store owner an email detailing the incident but the owner never responded.

You can find a variety of deli favorites, avocado toast, salads, and shakshuka on their menu. At its core, Lodge is a fusion of classic bakery goods meets Middle Eastern heritage. Everything is baked in their intimate kitchen and the staff is super nice & helpful. Of course, it's me so I deliberated between the shakshuka or a bread-y deliciousness long enough to have my friend just choose for me. She chose wisely! The Veggie Sammie was chock full of yum, wholesome goodness, and nature's vitamins to soothe my achy-broken arm. With gratitude, I indulged in their freshly-baked seeded-grain piled high with avocado, sprouts cucumbers, tomato, lettuce & shmeared with a zesty pepper aioli + a pickle on the side. It hit the spot, despite me not being hungry. Our order was #86 and it was a gentle reminder that thankfully, I only broke my arm, and not my neck. So I can return next time to enjoy their shakshuka--or avocado toast.

Welcome to Lodge Bread - Woodland Hills…read more Located at the Valley Country Market shopping plaza with other great gems. Lodge Bread has shared outdoor seating, free Wi-Fi and solid service. They seem quite busy in the am, for the morning patrons and early risers. An abundance of bread, cafe style options, ready to go bites and delights as well as beverages. The aromas are amazing and they definitely have a great flow, though they did forget my cold brew order for some odd reason, they usually never miss a beat. Team Vegan Caesar Salad! And team Fresh Veggie Sammie! They have a variety of baked things, salad stuff, sides, sammies (sandwiches), toasts (including avocado) and breakfast meets lunch style items. It's a full crew at the lodge from 8am til 4pm daily. Definitely on the moderate side of coast, though being a small biz and one of only three locations in Greater Los Angeles, they definitely make the effort for quality as well as quantity. And I do love supporting small as well as Veteran-owned gems like this. A lot of the bread is dairy and egg free, which I'm all for - especially their Ancient Grain Loaf, Sprouted Rye, Focaccia and Olive Loafs. Parking is lot with up to 2 hour validation with QR code scan in and out at the business you visit. Street parking also available along Ventura Blvd/De Soto Ave where Lodge Bread resides.
