I've been to a few mountain mikes, but my personal favorite is on Lakeville in Petaluma . The staff at the front counter is super friendly. The place is super clean too. It's definitely a guilty pleasure for me when I get pizza from this place, as one who loves eating all kinds of great pizza. If I need something quick especially for a larger crowd, that hits that spot, then I aim for mountain mikes mountain size . We popped in for a quick bite. The pizza place is more of a Domino/Pizza Hut type of restaurant. You order at the counter and then there is seating off to the side. The clerk that helped us was so incredibly nice. There were four of us, and we each ordered our own meal which was served quickly. We ordered mozzarella sticks that came out just lukewarm and the marinara sauce was ice cold straight out of the refrigerator. We asked our server to please take it back and warm it up which he did and reserved everything piping hot. Pizza was pretty good as we got the personal, which we could choose three toppings for. We also ordered the churro bites and they were delicious. For the food coming out Luke warm the server brought over a complementary cookie, which was so yummy. Overall good spot for a quick pizza, but don't expect Italian style. This is American style fare. read more

On our way to Mountain Mike's we passed very crowded In and Out and McDonald's burgers. MM had a brisk business but wasn't too busy. We always have the salad bar and that's the focus of this review. The MM salad bar is the best. It offers lots of different salad add-ons that are kept stocked and fresh. The lettuce is so crisp and soooo fresh, based on Romaine lettuce rather than iceberg. If you're going for the full pizza buffet, the pizza selection is ample and well-stocked. The staff is very friendly and efficient. And lastly, the bathrooms are super clean. First thing I did when I enttered was use the bathroom to see if it was safe to eat at, I was blown away by how clean the bathroom Was, no etched glass, graffiti was covered/removed, and important to me, the water you use to wash your hands ran long eeNough for an employee to actually wash their hands before turning off. After that I asked for their least popular item, they said then I wanted the garlic Tuscan. 15 minutes later I was served a piping hot pizza with rich sausage and sundries tomato's. I finished my meal feeling full with food to spare. My meal was worth the price and worth the calories, I'd suggest trying it out if you're in the mood for pizza, even more so if you feel like trying savory sausage savory tomato's, fresh green onions, and bits of minced garlic. read more

We love Mountain Mikes in Windsor. So we are evacuated from the Kincade fire, I thought, let's do Mountain Mikes. I called to order a pizza so I could just drive and pick it up. When I told the the woman that I would like to order a pizza to go. She asked if I could hold and I said yes. After she didn't come back, I assumed they were super busy so I decided to just walk in and order. When I went in. Only one person was dining. Hmm, ok! I asked her, about 15minutes? She said no, 25 to 30 min. Okay maybe they have a lot of deliveries. Came back at 20minutes, pizza was ready. Excited to sink our teeth into our pizza, we dove in. That was a bad idea. Pizza wasn't even Luke warm, the crust was not what we were used to and tasted nothing like Mountain Mikes that we area Custom to. Not a location I would recommend. Try Rohnert Park and Windsor. I ordered some things for delivery and half of the items showed up. The delivery guy apologized and said he'd be right back with the rest of the order. Forty minutes later I called and the guy who answered the phone said he didn't know what I was talking about but he saw my food sitting there and the delivery guy had never come back to pick it up. At this point it's almost 10pm so I asked for a full refund of all food since the service I paid for was incomplete and the food I had ordered and received was now cold. He said he couldn't do that and offered me a partial refund. I refused and said I would call the owner at a later date. I called later that week to speak to the owner and instead got the manager who also refused to refund me my full order. She offered me a partial refund and a pizza on the house. I told her I wasn't coming back and just wanted my full refund. Again she refused so I gave her my number to give to the owner for a full refund because I hadn't returned the food that had been delivered to me. So now apparently not only can they not bring me my delivery but it's my job to get in my car and re-deliver the food back to them. She also told me they had to fire the driver who never delivered my food. The owner still never called me back and instead the general manager called me. He told me he also could only do a partial refund. At this point I was so pissed off I told him fine, a partial refund and the free pizza and I wasn't coming back. He then told me since I had refused the pizza the first time that was now off the table and I could only get a partial refund...this place is full of inept people. Please, please don't go here. It's the first time I had ever tried this place and clearly I'll never be back. Also, the food was really bad. There are so many other better pizza places in Petaluma like Hectors, The New Yorker and Old Chicago. Spend your money there instead. read more
