Workers are friendly and the place was clean but am disappointed that they not only raised their prices but also got rid of their iced tea option. Surprising that Subway still touts being a healthy alternative to fast food when all they serve is bottled sweet tea, soda, and bottled water. The 17 oz bottle of water and bag of chips certainly aren't worth the $3.99 up charge. And the new $4 dipper is just meat and cheese rolled up in a piece of flatbread. I ordered on the app a veggie delight on honey oat bread, 6 inch. When I get home and open my sandwich, it is on regular wheat bread so I called them and I asked them if they have honey oat and they said not at that location, which is upsetting because they could've easily called me and let me know and asked me if I wanted a different bread, and that would've fixed that issue. Also, I had asked for extra lettuce with some other vegetables and honey mustard and mayonnaise on it. Well, this is what I get. This definitely does not look like extra lettuce and normally when they actually put enough honey mustard and mayonnaise on it. It has flavor and this did not at all. I tried to eat as much as I could, but I couldn't stomach anymore. I finally got around to actually coming here and trying it out. It's a chain (or franchise), so has that reliable known quality about it. I had the Meatball Sub, 12" and it was good and reliably consistent as always. The service here was fast, friendly and accurate. Parking here of course is easy as it shares a lot with other businesses and there's always plenty of parking spaces. It's a good go-to place where in local area walking distance from there there's other quick service affordable restaurants (Emerald Garden Chinese, Pizza Man Italian , Rice Things Japanese, Carl's Jr., Burger King, Taco Bell, Louis Burger, Snax, etc.) but no sandwich shops where you can get a meal for $10 or under. It's like a comfortable pair of shoes where you know what to expect and does a good job at what it's meant for. read more

The Subway at 2301 Artesia Bvd,Redondo Beach Ca is the worst Subway in the world! I stopped by a few weeks ago for a Black Forest ham sub for about $10 I noticed that they only put one slice of ham! When My wife ate it she complained it was very dry, no meat and didn't taste appetizing! I went back and complained The manager wasn't helpful argued about whether the sandwich tasted good and just offered a ten percent discount on another tasteless sandwich! A few weeks later I decided to give them another chance as my wife wanted a tuna sandwich and the one we had at the Carson mall Subway was delicious! Oh no! Not again!The server just put four half a small ice cream scoop of tuna on a foot long cheesy Italian sub! Again my wife could finish it as it was so dry! These people are so stingy and greedy,they charge a fortune for a sandwich I could make better myself for much less but they still skimp on the ingredients to make more profit! 4.5 Stars I like Subway. For some reason that seems embarrassing. I craved Subway like crazy (while in Europe) when I was pregnant and haven't eaten it again in the last 2+ years. This one is similar to all the others. The interior is new. The employees were friendly enough. My sandwich was custom made to order. What's not to like? I love that I can choose the toppings and how much of everything I want, including sauce. Also, you can have peppers and onions toasted with your meat and cheese. This is our neignborhood Subway and the service and the staff were very neighborhood unfriendly. My friend and I went in with our 5 kids and this is how it went down: - Couldn't put together our order correctly (mis-labeled sandwiches), made us an extra sandwhich by mistake and gave us the wrong size sandwhich). - When we got up to pay they could not figure out how to ring up our order and we stood there for 15 minutes while people behind us were getting mad. This is b/c everything was mis labeled. - Ended up making us to many adult combos vs kid combos which is more expensive - fine. We said we will pay the adult combo price but give us the star wars bag (this is why my kids wanted to go there anyway) and they said they couldn't do that and on top of paying more for the adult combo (their mistake) had to pay an extra $3.00 per star wars bag.... Well after 15 minutes in the line of chaos when there was no line to begin with - this was ridiculous. - Because they couldn't' figure out the order they rung up 2 people behind me which I thought was incredibly rude - The topper, I am about to leave with my other mommy friend and our 5 kids and they stop me to say that they undercharged me. Okay... my bill was $45.00 and they were incredibly rude... Big balls to ask me to pay more on top of that. Needless to say, it was a disappointing experience that these disgruntled employees were so unfriendly and couldn't handle a regular order. we will not support that Subway ever again. read more

All the girls that work here are awesome and super friendly. Every time I come in, I'm greeted, and for the most part, the girls remember me. I never have to wait too long. Negative note- I ordered a tuna footlong and a tuna chopped salad. Tuna sandwhichd had a very thin layer of tuna where you couldn't taste it with everything else on the sand which. The tuna salad was VERY disappointing especially because they didn't put any tuna on it??? What's up with that? Plus I said only tomato and onion and ended up with that plus a few olives in it that gave the surrounding stuff a horrible taste.
