Redheaded Stranger has a unique menu that stands out from the typical taco spot, and everything I…read moretried was absolutely delicious. The flavors were creative, well-executed, and left me wanting to come back for more. Beyond the food, the staff was fantastic and the overall vibe of the restaurant was amazing. The next time I'm in Nashville, this will be one of my first stops. Whether you're visiting the city or just passing through, I highly recommend making time for a meal here!

Decided to online order from the website. As someone who worked food service I know how much of a…read morepain the DoorDash/Uber Eats thing can be. Pickup was fine, parking in the area is a premium but that's Nashville. We ordered four tacos, queso and a little cake dessert. Not only did they stiff us on a taco completely, but there was a massive hair in another. So our four taco meal turned into a two taco meal. And guess what? If you call, there is absolutely no response. Nothing. Just a Google Voice mailbox that leads nowhere. So to recap, I can't get any sort of reimbursement or credit on the taco we didn't get nor the hairy taco. Online orders are stapled up tight too so it's not like I can verify, I'm assuming someone messed up on the line but c'mon. Absolutely egregious service. So you know what, can't and won't recommend. Seriously, Nashville is glutton for overpriced tacos and if this is the service they're giving on their own online ordering system what's the point? Go to Oscars or Mas or anywhere else in East Nashville that at least can pretend to care.

My husband and I came here excited to try some authentic Tennessee BBQ and everything was honestly so good. I got the brisket with baked beans and mac & cheese, while my husband got the chicken with green beans and baked beans. First off... the brisket was SO tender and juicy. It paired perfectly with the BBQ sauce and those baked beans? OH MY GOD. The baked beans were seriously the star of the meal for me.. sweet, smoky, flavorful, and completely addicting. I could've eaten a whole bowl by myself The mac & cheese was also creamy and delicious, just solid comfort food all around. My husband loved his chicken too. Super juicy, flavorful, and not dry at all which is always a win with BBQ chicken. I also tried the Tennessee Sour and let me just say... they do not play around with drinks out here It was really good, but one more and I probably would've been done for the night lol. The hospitality here was amazing. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and helpful which made the experience even better. Definitely a spot we'd come back to anytime we're in Nashville again. Thank you for such a great first BBQ experience in Tennessee! :)

What a disappointment!!!! Brisket was moist but had no flavor, the hoe cakes were bland, the hush puppies were dry. The rib were good as long as you put sauce on them . We also got pecan pie and fudge pie. The pecan was ok, but the fudge pie was gritty and pastie. We also got a root beer which was flat. We asked the guy who brought our food if we could get it replaced and he just stood there like he didn't understand. Then said I don't know and walked away. Terrible experience. So sad.

The food is always great! This time I tried their jumbo chicken wings meal with fries and some grits. The food is amazing! Chicken is juicy and tasty! The staff there are all friendly and helpful if you have questions. The dining area inside is usually busy and the small amount of outdoor seating is also usually packed! If you get to sit at the counter that faces the street, you can people watch . It was a great experience!

I remember around nine years ago when Nashville Hot Chicken was just taking off in…read moreCalifornia--before Dave's, before Clyde's, before even Hot Chicks--all I kept hearing was how great the original duo of Hattie B's and Prince's were. They kept saying that all the Johnny-come-lately hot chicken shops in the other parts of the country were just pale imitations. Even Howling Ray's with all its reputation was not as good as those two. And I have to say Hattie B's does stack up considerably well. The tenders were, er, tender and juicy and kind of fat. I wasn't expecting Dave's level or giant honking pieces. The fries were seasoned well. And the piece of bread was a good side in itself. But I think my favorite was the baked beans. I don't believe I've ever had baked beans with hot chicken before. Most hot chicken joints stop at the fries and bread. Man, if I could have baked beans this good with my chicken, I might even go all baked beans and no fries. Fries are never my favorite anyway. The beans were just the right of sweet and savory to be a key side. The service was fast but friendly, as befits a restaurant that has lines out the door and down the block. I've never seen a line that crazy at any food hall. That the crew manages to manage such a large throng of folks with a smile on their faces is a testament to their training and/or temperament. The ambiance is great. For such a crowded place and a smallish dining room, Hattie B's manages to make it look welcoming and not as packed as you would think it would be. I usually dislike communal tables especially when you want private conversation with your friend, but here it still feel relaxed and relatively private. I think this is a badass location to place a Hattie B's and next time I'm by the Assembly Food Hall for like a Ryman show or a game with the Preds, I'm coming right back for these tenders and those prime baked beans.

A perfectly cooked burger on a delicious bun. Plus the FRIES!!! OMG!!! They are as big as a table knife and thicker. But perfectly crispy on the outside ane soft on the inside. Seriously amazing! I love being able to easily mod the burger (I love adding grilled onions and bacon). And when I'm trying to eat less red meat, they have either the veggie burger or impossible burger. I have yet to try the chicken options, but may need to next time I drive by (and it's getting harder and harder to resist everytime I drive by, which is often!). The staff are also so kind and haven't gotten an order wrong yet! For someone with food sensitivities and allergies this is a big win :)
