My wife ordered us Subway on Wednesday evening from the Ridgefield . She ate her turkey sub prior to me returning home and had become horribly ill within an hour of eating the sandwich. I came home and threw out the footlong subs she had bought for my son and I. The food poisoning she had has been the worse she's ever had. It lasted more than 24 hours and resulted with her passing out from the dehydration and having to call 911 and have an ambulance come last night. I will never have my family order from here again and I will actively try to pass on information to other Ridgefield citizens to make sure they don't eat here either. read more

Worst subway ever! Totally unreliable on every level you can measure a resturaunt. I am local and have been disapointed more times than I can remmember. Where to start.. they close early (staffing issues) They may not even open some days (staffing issues) Online orders get cancelled and credit wont be issued for 3 days. They had no problem charging me at lightning speed and efficientcy, but money back has to go through a rigorous financial gauntlet. Constantly out of key items like bread, meatballs and meat. Everybody in town has a story about this Subway and its a good laugh most of the time. Just irritated that I have to remmember to check my bank in three days to see if they will actually refund. The gal stops making the 4 online sandwich orders every 30 seconds to tell us how short handed they are. This is by far one of the worst Subways I have ever ordered from. None of these idiots can get an online order right. They obviously don't even bother reading the special instructions box or maybe they just can't read in general (I mean they do work at Subway so I guess that makes sense). Great recent experience I want to detail. I recently tried the Subway App to take advantage of their BOGO free footlong deals. I have someone in my house who can't eat Gluten (allergy related not anyth trendy) and I tried to order for the group. You CANNOT order Gluten free options online or on the Subway App. Not to belabor the point, but this also means that you cannot get any discounts simply because of bread choice. An annoyance at best, ignoring those who require gluten free options at worst. That said, the manager reached out to me to see what he could do and I appreciate that. Maybee it's nothing, but it shows a local's concern. Also, good sandwiches made how I ordered. What more do you need? Would be back to this location read more

DO NOT ORDER HERE! We made the mistake of ordering online via the Subway app to stop at the location on the way home from errands. So many mistakes! We got three sandwiches and two out of three were wrong. My mom's sandwich was not hers, the meat (cold cut trio) was the only thing right on it, it was on the wrong bread and wrong veggies and no condiments. My sandwich was essentially right except for there were zero condiments added, making the dry bread even drier. Again, don't stop here. If you're on the road headed north, stop at the Woodland Subway (which is the one we usually go to). They're much better! read more

Had a terrible experience here today. First the girl making our sandwiches had her hair down and all in her face, found her hair in one sandwich. Then I got charged for 2 meals, which I asked for, then the girl refused to give me the drink my meal came with and charged me an extra $1.99 for a drink that should have been included. I placed an online order for five-foot-long sandwiches for a backyard event. My instructions were, "Please cut these into 4 servings per sandwich, and put condiments (Mustard, Mayo, and Jalapenos) on the side. THANK YOU!" They called me to say they didn't understand the instructions, and after I explained CONDIMENTS ON THE SIDE, the gal said in a stern tone, "Don't do that again. Next time call us." The young ladies working today at 3:00pm (Thursday, September 29th) need coaching from management. First thing I noticed when I came in was that the service station was disgusting... it looks like they haven't wiped anything down since opening. Garbages were overflowing, flies were buzzing around the food, the rotisserie chicken was so dried out that the top of the pile looked more like jerky than anything else. So, bad conditions overall. Add on top of that, both girls ignored us when we came in. The girl that ended up helping us took a solid minute to put her gloves on, and throughout the entire process she was moving at a snail's pace and was more concerned with talking to her coworker than being friendly to her customers. Honestly, they seemed like bored high schooler's that felt their time was wasted at work. Highly disappointed in their demeanor and the conditions they seem to think is acceptable for food service. I ordered a gluten free sandwich and was treated rudely. The "sandwich artist" slapped the ingredients on my sandwich and rushed to ring me up. Their gluten free brownies were all frozen but I took one for later anyways. I just got home to eat my sandwich and the bread was so stale, it fell apart and I could only eat the meat. When I asked where the bacon was the handle bar mustache ass behind the counter told me that I was a liar. Three other people in the restaurant said they heard me order the turkey bacon. It's Subway and if you don't know what to expect by now as far as the food goes, I can't help you. Our "Sandwich Artists" were awesome! When we arrived there was a line of people with suspiciously odd requests for people ordering food at a fast food sandwich place. Needless to say the orders were complicated and long. Our sandwich artists handled it with ease and an efficiency usually only witnessed at a Japanese automotive assembly plant. They were very pleasant and were not scarce on using the terms "sir" "ma'am" and "thank you". 7/19/17: Update so on 7/14, I submitted a comment to Subway corp. They contacted the owner for me and he called me. After the charge settled at my bank (my decision not his), he made sure I got my order on the date and time that I requested. He was extremely easy to work with which I appreciated. The store manager called me while prepping the order to confirm a couple of things so everything turned out well. My sandwiches were ready for pick up when I arrived at the store. Good job guys!!! Ordered online- never got a confirmation so I checked my bank to see if it was charged- money taken. Got to the restaurant- they say they never got order. I showed them the charge on my bank account- "How do I know it's my resturant?" Hello- only other Subway for Ridgefield is in Conneticut- then the "manager" says show me the order- I ordered on my work computer and never got an print out. Great Subway- no food- no money. Keep driving if you are hungry.
