I have nothing bad to say. The halibut was excellent. Not greasy. Not overcooked. Fries were good. They have that somewhat crunchy texture on the outside. Those are my favorite. There's some outside seating there as well as patio, yard area, and inside at 3Peaks tap room. We ordered from the taproom and it was brought to us. I'd say we'll definitely be back.

    Bought some smoked black cod

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Not too busy at the cafe, but when we ordered at the counter they were behind on orders coming from next door (3 Peaks brewery) so they gave us a 30 minute wait time for our food. We agreed since we had just purchased some smoked black cod from the fresh seafood market next door. We also ordered some clam chowder with our two piece halibut fish and chips and they gave us that right away, so that was perfect! Staff is very friendly and helpful in both places. They have plenty of outdoor seating in front of the seafood market and picnic tables in front of the cafe. The smoked fish was really yummy. The clam chowder had great flavor as well; tasted a little cheesy?! I love a thick clam chowder, so it was right up my alley. We were a little disappointed in the halibut fish and chips. The fillets were overcooked, making the breading overly crispy and borderline burnt tasting. The fries were okay, but a bit soggy from the fish fillets laying on top. There were quite a few options in the refrigerator cases in the seafood market we may come back and try. We saw some fish and non fish cheesy dips and pasta salads that looked good. Overall a good first visit. The wait can be long since they also take orders from 3 Peaks next door. If the wait is too long for you, meander into the seafood market for ready to eat options as well as fresh seafood to take home and cook. Would recommend.

I have seen their sign off I-5 for many years and finally had to take the exit on my way back to Portland and give them a try. Oh man! I really shouldn't have waited so long. The fish and chips were so fresh and delicious and they have an amazing finish market with many local area fresh seafood like crab, Shrimp, Scallops and fish like salmon and halibut along with oysters and mussels to name a few. Come get some fresh flavorful seafood here if you get a chance.

This is their fresh seafood melt bread. Yum.

I finally made it up to the spot. It's a little bit of a drive from my house, but I think worth it! The store has so many fresh fish options. It's crazy. Also several kinds of oysters and clams. They do in-house smoked salmon, which is amazing! The store has several condiment options and some cute logo stuff. The employees were super helpful and nice. They answered my questions and were very pleasant. They have a small wine collection that has some good choices as well. So happy to have found this fresh fish place that I definitely will return to .

First time eating here and it was amazing and great! Loved the fish and chips and mahi mani tacos!

I haven't been able to find a good fish and chips spot out here that has panko breaded fish and not beer battered. Stopped by the other day and was pretty disappointed. The service was not that great. The girl we spoke with seemed like she was in a rush or a hurry and wasn't friendly at all. We stood and waited and a guy ended up taking our order at the window. We got the chicken quesadilla and a 3 piece fish and chips. The quesadilla was tasty and flavorful, but instead of giving you a side of salsa, they add it into the quesadilla, which was fine, but I would still prefer a side of it with no charge because it definitely was not enough salsa in it. The fish and chips looked so delicious but was not worth near $30. I would rather eat at Burgerville and have a 5-piece fish and chips order for less than $30 and much more flavorful and delicious compared to this place. Wasn't impressed at all and don't think I'll be returning any time soon.

2 halibut fish & chips with cole slaw

Family brought us here on a Sunday (for Father's Day) because it's not far from our house and for the rave reviews. They have a store with fresh (uncooked) seafood, and then they have an outdoor area with seating to order lunch/dinner food. They have a nice menu and lots of things I wanted to try. I decided to get the halibut fish & chips, since it's a specialty of theirs, plus a cup of clam chowder. The halibut was great - panko fried and reminded me of a couple fried tuna joints on the coast that I love. The price was steep for what you get, but I don't know of another place in the Portland metro area with something similar. The clam chowder also was good, as was the cole slaw. Others got the cod sandwich (good) and fried clams (good). There's a brewery nextdoor with lots of indoor & outdoor seating, so next time we may go over there with our food plus the dogs. Staff were friendly. I'd come back again.

This was our first time PNWB and boy was it a treat. We preferred online for a quick pickup and go. Once we arrived the parking lot was full. You make your way up a ramp to a pick up window for to-go orders. You quickly notice other activity on the property. I asked the gentlemen who met me at the window what's all the activity about? He let me know that there are three businesses on the property, one owner. There is the cafe that has limited outdoor seating and mainly caters to to-go orders. They also have a seafood market where you can by fresh seafood. On Theo there side of the property they have a full restaurant that serves seafood. The area can get pretty busy, he remarked, when the weather is nice. We ordered two halibut and chip plates. The halibut is lightly battered and definitely moist. They offer one, two and three piece plates. I ordered two and was surprised at how large the pieces were. Plenty for one person when you add the French fries and coleslaw. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. A yummy experience Reasonably priced... do yourself a favor and stop by and pick some good seafood to-go or stay a while in the restaurant and chill.

First of all, the drive into the town was gorgeous and scenic. What a restaurant with a view! Easy parking and plenty of seating on the inside. Second, the staff were incredible. From the moment we walked in, the young lady taking our order was friendly, welcoming, and helpful with our questions as non-locals. Another co-worker was helpful in helping us to get seated and bringing out food/drinks. Wonderful service, thank you! Third, the food was AMAZING! Everything we ate was fresh, hearty, and so flavorful. We shared a cup of clam chowder and it was so creamy and delicious. My husband got the fish and chips with the Cajun seasoning and it was so scrumptious! And very filling! I got the smoked salmon po'boy and it was so decadent. I loved every bite and walked away stuffed! And, on top of it all, prices were so reasonable for such fresh fish and ingredients! If we are ever in the area again, we are going to be sure to stop by Brigham Fish Market. It is worth every minute of the drive, every dollar, and every bite! Thanks for an amazing lunch!

Some good, a few very good, many meh. Squatchsami? Their fish and chips were GREAT!!! OUTSTANDING!!! I've been wanting to try this place with the funny name, and was told it had turned from a food truck to a brick and morter restaurant, so that felt like a good sign. We went several days ago but got there too late as we forgot to check their hours before going, so today I tried again, earlier in the day. Cute place, nice ambience, I really appreciated the indoor tables (of varying sizes) since I accidentally left my hoodie at home. They also had seats to use if the line was long. Checked out the menu and placed my order for 2 halibut with sea salt fries plus a soda. WOW. I started with the fries to allow the fish to cool off a bit. First bite of fries? PERFECTLY cooked, tasty shoestring fries. Not the fat or soggy fries everyone else at the coast serves, but nice crunchy, tasty fries. Exactly what I had been craving. Will absolutly try the resomary fries next time. I ate every one. Then I tried the fish. YOWZA - WOW. Simply wonderful. I can't describe how light the batter was. It was also super crunchy and very tasty. The fish was perfectly cooked, not under or over done. I ate every little crumb, almost not believing how good the meal was. Finally, I had found the best fish and chips. The price was very reasonable. Service was quite friendly, and two different employees checked on me during my time there to ask if I needed anything. The menu was limited and simple. I felt like they do a few things so they can do them well. It's the In-N-Out (burger) philosophy - you can't be good at everything so be great at a few things. It totally works. Can't wait to bring my husband and friends back. Thank you!!!

As for the fries they came out hot and crisp. Some of the best fries I've had in a long time. The coleslaw was lacking flavor and depth but not a big deal. We got 3 sauces: tartar sauce was very good! The garlic aïoli had great flavor and wasn't overpowering. The ginger lime was very mild and wasn't a good choice in my opinion.
