The sandwich was delicious with a thick bread which was nicely toasted, filled with pastrami meat. The cold serving of Thousand Island dressing and Southern slaw mixed in with the thinly sliced red onion was a good combination in the sandwich. The selection of sandwiches offered was smaller than what used to be in the old location but that's to be expected, I guess. It's a different time, stuff is more expensive. The service was great and friendly.

We were welcomed with warm smiles and walked straight to the deli. We shared the Rubinstein and bratwurst (everything on it). It's true - it does take a while for the food to be made but it's so worth it. The meat is sliced is front of you and made to order. My favorite is their cucumber side that's drenched in dill sauce. $2+ beers for happy hour, everyday! Kolsch beer all the way, baby! Shoutout to the chef making our sandwiches. I didn't get his name but he's a super nice guy with a black beard. He was apologetic for the wait - but we assured him there's no rush. We will always wait for quality food! No, I'm OK because you know I'm here all the time so I trust--- then she took the guy behind me. He said no no no I ordered a small you're charging me for a large, then I remember I paid $22. I immediately went back and said I also ordered the small. It's $12.50. Why was I charged $22? She said because I added mushrooms I chose the "mushroom cheesesteak"It literally says $12.50 for the 8 inch on the menu! Would you like your receipt? Absolutely! And the proof is in the pudding. The receipt says large cheesesteak $17.95 that isn't even the price on the menu it's $16.50. My problem with the actual place is if you're trusting it and you're not asking for your receipt, which is my fault. Their drink menu is also very large with tons of beer options to choose from. They offered a wide range of beers, craft beer, stouts, ciders and more. I am not a huge craft beer fan so I struggled. I ended up telling the bartender what I like and he had a couple of suggestions. He also let me sample one of the ciders, which I ended up getting. I choose the Cider Boys Strawberry Cider. Really great, not overly sweet just very tasty. My husband loves craft beer and will always look for one with a high ABV. He went with the Voodoo Where our Secrets go Stout Imperial from Pennsylvania. It had a high ABV and was a dark beer, he really enjoyed it. Both times we sat outside. The second time we came over, was later in the evening and more full than the first time. They also had a musician singing, which made it extremely loud and very hard for our group to chat. Overall this is a great spot. If we lived closer I could see us coming here more frequently. We do not find ourselves visiting Sanford a lot but if we are in the area, we would for swing by again. If you live closer, I would highly recommend coming here for the vibes, the ambiance and the beers. You can also bring your dogs which is a nice touch. My only negative is there is not food to order.
