I think this is the best subway in the valley. They're always friendly, always happy to help us. The restaurant is clean, and when there is a line, they're very quick! This place is horrible. I've tried twice in the last 6 months and both times they messed up and refused to fix it. Today's mess up was I was overcharged by almost $10 and the haggard and useless manager refused to fix it. She also called me an "f-slur" before she hung up on me. Have always loved this subway Had meatball 6 inch on Italian herb and cheese bread. Bread inedible. Either burnt or stale. Meatballs fine. Not a good sandwich. Threw out most of bread after tasting how bad it was. No More toasting for me ever or that type of bread at this place read more

I decided to try something different go with whatever the employee recommended and it was worth it. Very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous staff. The 2 subs I got were delicious. I will probably try more of their recommendations. The subs were fresh and the cookies were delicious. It's great to see people not only taking pride in their job but enjoying it as well. Time for a review update. This is one of my regular places to grab a Sandwich for lunch. They do a very good job making a consistent Sandwich every time I visit. The Sandwich Artists here should be recognized for it. It can get very busy during the lunch hour rush, so I recommend coming here before 11:45 am or after 1 pm if you want to avoid the crowds. I still order a Footlong BMT w/Italian Cheese Bread, Toasted, Provolone, Mustard, Mayo, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Green Peppers, Pepperoncini, Salt, Pepper, Oregano, Oil, Vinegar....I just can't seem to order anything else. I went to this subway recently and had the best experience I've ever had in a Subway. Upon entering a nice young man named Chris was there to greet me and he made me feel welcomed. The highlight of my visit, however, was the service of an employee named Max (young man with black curly hair). I like my sandwich really specific and Max coped with all of my alterations very well (most employees often get irritated), he toasted my sandwich to perfection, and was extremely good-humored and professional. This is the best Subway by a landslide. There is a nice young man that typically works weekend nights named Calvin that always brightens my day. Careful subway, I may try recruit him to my company for customer service! He's great at connecting with customers and often remembers specific conversational details that keeps me coming back. Always a pleasant experience and always a great sandwich. I *especially* appreciate that the veggie delight is always $3. Since it's never on the $3 6 inch deal list, it makes sense to count it every day! Not all subways honor this mentality and I get really frustrated at other locations. Service was fast, sub was fine. But when I went to pay, I presented a coupon for $5.99 for any footling sub. However, the cashier told me that I had chosen the sub of the day which was already on special. So, I was charged $6.49 for the sub. Wtf? I had a coupon for 50 cents less. Although it's only 50 cents, I was a bit disappointed that my coupon was refused for the sub of the day special which cost more. read more

I usually don't go for sandwiches (after the incident) but I decided to pop in today (May 14th 2022) and get one. I showed up just in the nick of time as they were about to close and one employee (C. Wood) was very patient and thoughtful with making my order. A hard worker indeed! And what a treat it was, to visit this "subway"!! I couldn't recommend it enough. After constructing the sandwich, the employee noticed that there was an issue with the register overcharging me with cheese. Thinking quickly, however, the employee was able to resolve the issue and I ended up paying a good, fair market rate for the sandwiche!! After getting my sandwich, I moseyed on down to the back of the restaurant and took a seat, savouring every last bite of the delectable Subway meal. Another employee (I did NOT catch their name) told me about all the great opportunities that working for subway entails! It seemed by that point that I was the last customer, so I was able to bear witness to the 'closing up' of the Subway!! All in all, it was a fantastic experience. I echo Morgan T.'s claim that "This is the best Subway by a landslide" and while I haven't been to many other sub-ways I'm purdy darn certain it's true. My husband and I decided to not go to either of the Subways we went to yesterday. Our son was still doing chess in north Scottsdale, so we decided to come to a different one. This was pretty much perfect. The kid that helped us was like a 10 star on service out of a 5 star. He was wonderful and I wish all service people were as great as him. I believe his name is Max, which is what the receipt said. He was super friendly, courteous, professional, very polite, and had a good personality. He treated every customer, including us well. This is one of the bigger Subways we've been to. I notice there were repeat customers and he knew their orders as they entered the place. He made people feel at ease. This place was clean, well kept, organized, and appealing. Everything was working well. This is the perfect Subway. read more

How high was the curly haired blonde kid today? I walked in and he was staring off into space. I said hello and he barely acknowledged my presence. Then a female cut in front of him to help me. I asked for a footlong on honey oat, and he said "You're a honey oat", then chuckled to himself. If she hadn't gotten in front of him to help me, this 2x a week guy wouldn't come back. Yes..it is strange that I am writing a review for Subway. I get it!!!!!!!!! One because I don't like Subway sandwiches and two..because it is flippin'Subway! Subway is Subway and you should have correct expectations when you go there. They offer a variety of what I consider healthy sandwiches compared to other fast food options. If you stick to the daily specials, you can get out of there for under $6 for a 6" sandwich, large drink and chips (or cookies). I like that I get to personally instruct every ingredient that goes on each sandwich. That way, they are always exactly what I want. If you stray from the daily special, the price edges up to where I would consider other options that have premium subs (Jersey Mikes, Jimmy Johns, etc). This is my go-to place for a fast, inexpensive but good workweek lunch. The employees here are nice & friendly. The store is usually very clean. read more

You know what you're getting when you go to a Subway. This location is fast, clean, and gives good service for the 5 minutes you talk to them while ordering. Best customer service! Amber is really great. I come in every morning and sit/sip/eat before work. I always try to buy a little something. I work just a few steps away from here and have to wait until we open. My husband drops me off early because he works on the other side of town. Amber is so kind about letting me in right around when they open. She doesn't have to be this kind, but she is! She deserves recognition! read more

This is for the Subway located at 8776 E. Shea Blvd, Scottsdale. Decided on Subway because, while it is not fancy gourmet dining,has good value, fresh ingredients, and was close to our hotel.
