While in the area, we set in search for a quick and cool lunch option. We came across Blimpies and decided give it a go. This particular location is piloting the surf city squeeze smoothies so this helped us make our decision, after being out in the brutal summer heat. They have a few new featured products, spicy or sweet Caribbean jerk sandwiches and Mac and different Mac and cheeses. We ended up ordering both a spicy and a sweet Caribbean jerk sandwich, along with a turkey and cheese kids sandwich for the little. We also ordered 3 smoothies, two of the new featured, hibiscus sunset and turmeric sunshine. The service was great and the staff was incredibly friendly, but here is where Blimpies fell short. For the 3 of us our total was just over $50 After the shocking total, I brushed it off and figured it would be worth it, as everything looked delicious. The smoothies were great but the sandwiches missed the mark entirely. We didn't add any mustard, Mayo etc as it comes with a jerk sauce on the kitchen. We added a few basic veggies and opted out of oil. We also had each of them toasted. We began eating roughly 5 min or less after our sandwiches being made, went to take bites of our sandwiches and the bread is complete mush.... Nearly turning into the consistency it would before baking. I cannot do mushy bread and it ruined the entire sandwich. I was able to eat the inner ingredients to still enjoy some of my lunch but that defeats the purpose of a sandwich, and a $15 one at that. I may stop in for a smoothie but I definitely won't purchase a sandwich here again. read more

Well, it turns out Eegee's has removed their product because they actually opened some locations locally and are selling for themselves. So now they serve subs and Surf City Squeeze smoothies (which are good tbh, but def not comparable to an Eegee's!). Subs are a bit pricey and not the best ever, but if you use the app, they have some combos for $6 for a drink, chips, and regular sub. Makes it somewhat affordable. Those aren't advertised in store so scope that out before you head in to order. I foolishly ordered that for me and my kiddo got a kid meal which was basically the same thing for only $.20 cheaper and half the sandwich. The app gives you 25pts for signing up. Subs for a family of 4 and I've already earned a $5 reward. Love the little outdoor eating area in the Pavillions. It's quiet, but convenient. read more

I have always loved this location. However, this location has recently went under new management. And it is a great move. The new boss is always greeting me when I walk in. He also remembers my face and knows what I want. Also makes great suggestions when it comes to my sub. This place is way better than subway or any other sub place. It's been years since I've had Blimpie's Subs. I was very happy to hear they opened a new joint in Scottsdale a few months ago. Since they opened, I've dropped in here for lunch a few times. Update: I've added one additional star. The owner sent me a personal message in addition to responding below. It's obvious, he really seems to care. Go ahead and give this location a try. Others seem to really like it, so maybe my experience was a one off. But, I still stand by the employee "Jamie" having a serious attitude issue when her boss isn't watching over her. Wow! I really can't believe my sub was from the same place as all these great reviews!! Today was my second (and final) experience at this Blimpie location. The girl that works the counter mid-afternoon is the rudest employee I've encountered in a long time. My first go around, about a month ago, she literally made fun of me the entire time she made my sandwich, because I dared to ask her to make it on just their "regular" bread. She was ranting so weirdly, I actually wondered if she was stoned. The sub itself--Blimpie's best--was unmemorable. A couple of days ago, I posted a review of my awesome experience with Jersey Mike's. Today was the polar opposite. I decided to order online to avoid having to deal with the rude girl any longer than necessary if she was on duty. She was. I arrived a few minutes before the stated pick-up time. I was the only customer in the place (same as it was last time). She was just wrapping up my sandwich, as I walked up to the counter. I mentioned my online order, and I thought she asked "is it for here?" Well! You'd think my mishearing her was a high crime. She exaggeratedly rolled her eyes and sarcastically remarked, "I know it's to go! I said, it's right here!" Wtf??!!! Who speaks to customers that way??? As if her attitude wasn't enough, today's sub was just simply sub-par. There wasn't really anything wrong with it except the bread--regular Italian--was severely underbaked. I tried blimpie for the first time and all was going well with my veggie pattie footlong on jalapeno cheddar bread until I found a bug in my sandwhich. I showed it to the worker and she just took my name and number and said the manager would call me back. I spent $11 and only ate less than half the sandwhich cause after the bug I couldn't eat anymore of it l. I wonder what the food grade letter is for this store. It definentely shouldnt be an A or anywhere close to it. She offered to make me another sandwich but that would probably just have another bug in it. This pains me to give such a low score because I absolutely love Blimpie's. There's nothing wrong with the location the service or the quality of the ingredients. I had to score it so low only because they are just so very stingy on the meat. I ordered a foot-long and I watched him cut two slices of meat put them on a little scale and then put them onto the sandwich ($8) when I realize that was going to barely even taste like it had meat on it I asked him to please give me double meat ($4) which then they put the additional two slices on my sandwich. Holy nostalgia! After a Yelp search to find lunch since I now work in an area I'm unfamiliar with I chose Blimpie. When I was a kid there was a Blimpie in Downtown Palm Springs and it was my favorite sandwich shop for years until it closed. This location is very clean, the vegetables all seemed super fresh and tasty and the staff was friendly. My sandwich was delicious, nice solid BLT and it was prepared quickly. I chose to eat in the restaurant as a nice break from my workday. There's a decent amount of seating and everything was clean. The walls are covered with classic Blimpie storefronts which is super cool. The only drawback is the parking, it's a very busy shopping center with limited parking. They do offer an order ahead option so I would just call them next time to prepare my order. read more

This place is a s&$t show! Went in today and wasn't even greeted by anyone. Seems to hate his job and life if I'm being honest. First thing he said was it will be 15 minutes I'm in the middle of a order. With 1 guy waiting for food. 2 sandwiches would take 15 mins I don't think so! Food was alright. Everything was just smashed together it seemed like. The line it self with veggies and what not was disgusting as can be. Apparently the online price is not the correct price. I ordered a large Blimpies best wrap platter. Online it is listed for $50 but when I went to pick it up I was charged $75? When I talked to the women on the phone she had told me the online price was wrong. She also seemed upset that I asked for a refund. I finally got the difference refunded but when I went in to pick it up, the women I talked to was to busy gabbing with the friend she had in the store to apologize for the confusion. This Blimpies is quite a distance out of the way but they have Eegee's which it makes it worth the occasional trek across town and gives them 5 stars. The sandwiches are pretty good too! I always get the turkey and provolone on Italian bread with extra pickles and it is consistently good. I don't know what difference it makes but they slice the meat when you order the sandwich. The toppings are always fresh, and the offer fast friendly service. My son always enjoys the meatball. The star of the show here is the Eegee's. It's not just a summer treat. They always have the basic flavors; strawberry, lemon, and pina colada. They also have the flavor of the month. This month was lime. You can also get the party packs here. The store is small but clean. There also have outdoor seating if the weather is nice. There is only one bathroom but it's fairly clean. read more

This place is a PHENOMENAL go to for a sub!!! This location has been selling many of their subs at a discounted price of $5 for a 12 inch. THe bread is ALWAYS fresh, and so are the ingredients.... I always get the veggie and cheese and get ALL the fixings pretty much as far as veg, with oil and vinegar an' a touch of mayo. It's great with the parmesan bread. very nice people, quick service to get me by comfortably on my 30 min lunch break from work. i love that they can press your sandwiches panini style, idk anywhere else that does that! since i go there 3 days a week, i signed up for the spendgo thing where i get $5 off for every 50 i spend. i wish they had avocado, and i wish they made their sandwiches on a deli paper so that when they're throwing the ingredients on the bread, they dont fall out and eventually get thrown away. i hate seeing my lettuce, spinach, and olive get swept into the trash because its so hard to keep everything between two pieces of bread. plus, it should just be on paper for sanitary reasons, am i right? read more

I have gone to Blimpie's for many years and know what a "Blimpie's Best/Blimpies Way" sandwiches are. I have ordered the latter from Uber Eats in the past with no problem. Now, Blimpies is using Postmates, and Uber is out the door. The Postmates website for Blimpie's is horrible!!! I ordered two Blimpie Best/ Blimpie Way, expecting I would get what I get in the store and from Uber Eats. NO!!! I got two buns with a slice of cheese and some sliced meat. Not the Blimpie Way. You have to select the ingredients on the website to make it the Blimpie Way. The Blimpie Way seems to be a consumer rip-off now. ARRRGH!!! read more
