Newbie/tourist tip: go to bar counter to pay once your party is done eating, you don't have to wait for your ticket to be served at your table like most establishments.

The soup itself is not too thick- and pairs well with the delicious bread it is served with. We also shared their prosciutto sandwhich - which was equally delightful and another "must try" when visiting. Lastly- its a good idea to try whatever desserts they have that day. We split their apple turnover and it did not disappoint! We wound up purchasing another to take back to the hotel. There is casual seating inside for perhaps 12 or so, while outside you can enjoy eating your food near the water. Ludvigs is truly a gem! From their delicious food to their warm and friendly service, I will definitely return the next time I am in Sitka. Thank you Ludvigs!

I'm glad I tried it while I was in town, but I won't be back here. If you want Italian seafood, give it a try, but I'll pass in the future. There are many better places to dine.
