We wanted to get past the Madison traffic for dinner but without having to deal with the crazy tourists in the Wisconsin Dells-area. We sought out a recommendation from a friend, and they did not disappoint! Service was a touch slow, but it was a very busy Friday night so I am giving some grace on that here with my review, especially as our server was quite wonderful. However, this is definitely a place that would benefit from the addition of some technology; watching our waitress take our order by hand, then stop at the next table and do the same, and then go enter both means that both orders get to the kitchen at the same time instead of spacing them out. And it just so happened that the table who ordered after us received their dinner first. Not complaining, just pointing out the inefficiency. Our server was super friendly and fun, which helped with the longer wait (I wonder how the Halloween decorating went--she said she was in charge of it), and the food was so good that I forgot all about the wait! My grilled cheese was excellent, though the star of the show was really the sweet potato fries. They. Gave. Me. Life. Try them! We got drive-through one time and came inside and ate another. It was refreshing to have people working the dining room. All the Chick-fil-A's near us no longer have people that are attentive and taking care of the guests out there. The ladies here were wonderful! I also worked at a Chick-fil-A in management six or so years ago. I noticed that the chicken had been filleted really well on both of the sandwiches we had. We had walked over but offered to go get our car and come back through the drive thru. The cashier said for us not to worry about it and that it was too cold to ask us to walk back to the motel. He took our order and I talked to him and updated the hours on Google while he put the order together. All of our food was fresh and put together with care so that our food and fries were still hot when we got back to our room. I definitely give this experience 5/5 stars. Everything that we could see in the dining room and the kitchen was clean and the employees were very kind.

I ordered the Mooyah cheeseburger, and my spouse ordered a bacon cheeseburger. We also ordered shareable fries. The menu pictures don't look like a smash burger, but that is exactly what we were given, overcooked, all the way through. I am not sure why people claim the Mooyah sauce is great, as there was barely any sauce on it, and you could barely taste it. The lettuce was wilted, and was scant. Where's the tomato? It was very thinly sliced. The shareable fries were like a party for four, we should have ordered the personal fries, as we brought over half of them home. They were extremely loaded with salt, so much that we were thirsty for the rest of the evening. We won't be back there again.
