I returned on Saturday morning at 7:45am to get a tire re-repaired that Sucher did not repair properly on Tuesday. the shop is supposed to open at 8am but as of 9am, an hour late,, they have not opened. I guess there is no urgency since they have already been paid for a tire repair that was not done properly. Why then, would I expect them to open as scheduled. Terrible service. read more

Some mechanic recommended I buy my wheel from this place. I call on a Monday around 4:47pm and was shocked by this horrible person who picked up the phone. He was so inpatient with me and kept cutting me off. When I told him to stop cutting me off as I was trying to give him the description to the wheel I was trying to find, he hung up on me. Can you believe it? Then, I call back and mention that he was rude and I would write a review about the way he treated me over the phone and his response was go ahead. I have never been treated like that by a so-called business. Unprofessional and disrespectful business. They need an attitude adjustment. I will spend my $650+ elsewhere. read more

Awesome service. Really hooked me up in a pinch when I needed help patching a slow leak on one of my tires. Called ahead to make sure they were open and the friendly dude on the phone told me to come on over. Showed up and they had my wheel off in under 5 minutes, repaired tire on 10 minutes after that. Only charged me $15. Super cool guys as well. Will definitely be back when I need to order summer wheels for my car. read more

I'm surprised that this long-standing Detroit institution doesn't have more ratings. More people should know about it! I went in last week for a flat fix, balancing, and some new tires. The flat fix took only about twenty minutes. Unfortunately, it took way longer to get the new tires - but only because my lugnuts weren't coming off. They worked on those things for almost two hours, giving me updates as they worked, and didn't charge me a bunch more for labor. kudos to them for sticking with it and getting the job done, rather than turning me away. Their new tires are mostly General brand, which are highly regarded, and they're a great price! they also have lightly used tires and more budget options to get folks back on the road - they can really accommodate you at any price point. Roger helped me out with my service, and he was super friendly and helpful. The value was incredible for the service received, the crew working there was all excellent, and they clearly know all the ins and outs of their business. I'll be stopping here for all my tire work in the future. (Side note- they don't provide alignment, which is a bummer! I'd happily pay them for that service too) read more

Basing this off the phone call alone. Was looking for a specific tire and the person who answered seemed really short and arrogant. Charged me MORE than the dealership would and I would still have to wait for the order. Told him I'd still look around since I needed it that day and if I didn't find it, I'd possibly order it, but right after I said "I'll look around-" he pretty much just hung up on me. I've bought tires here twice and had repairs done once. Every time, someone has helped me within a minute of my arrival in the parking lot, and had my car up on a lift within 2 or 3 minutes. Prices seem reasonable. They usually give 2 options of price point, and they never try to up sell or make you feel like your business is less valuable if you choose the cheaper tires, or a repair over a replacement. Plus, it's a local business that's stayed in the neighborhood through some rough times. The waiting area is substance over style - you're surrounded by piles of tires, and people are bustling in and out and working around you, which I prefer to weak coffee and elevator music anyway - but usually the wait isn't long and you're back on the road soon. read more

Let me just say.......these people are a gift from God. I literally had a blow out and no way to get to their site. I spoke with Roy and he was so compassionate and professional. They were able to meet me at my job because I had no spare. Took my cell phone number down and called me to state they were there at my work. I cannot believe how professional and courteous they were. I called other companies (Big Named Sites) and literally laughed at me when I asked if they could come to my job since the tire was blown and I had no spare. Not SUCHER (sooker) Tire. Trust me, these are the ones to go to. I even called before they opened and Roy answered the phone. God Bless these people. Talk about an honest business! I needed a new rim and I saw they had one on eBay. The Item had sold. I called to see if they had another one they didn't. They took down my information and said they would try and find me one! Not only did they find me the exact rim but it was at a fair price. I was nervous to buy a used rim with out seeing any picture of it. But it was in better condition than they described!!! Not a single scratch, mark, knick, ANYWHERE!!! Cannot say enough great things about Sucher Tire! Belle Tire was not able to find the two tires I needed as they are no longer made. I was faced with buying 4 news tires for nearly $900 (because my vehicle is 4 wheel drive and the tire treads need to match) even though two of my tires had 93% life left. As a female with no car or tire knowledge I was leery of trying to find the tires on my own. Not only did Sucher have the tires I needed, I was able to get 4 tires in perfect condition for $400. Even if Belle Tire was able to find the two tires I needed, those would have cost nearly $500. I plan to only buy tires from Sucher going forward.
