I stopped in the restaurant for lunch. The whole shopping center was packed, but they did have front and back parking options. I got the Cuban as a recommendation from the woman taking my order. I was a little skeptical because of the shape as to how much filing it would have but I was legitimately blown away. It was so good! The flaky pastry was such a great combo. I also am obsessed with Guava so the guava cloud tea was heavenly and very refreshing. I got some dessert croissants. The pistachio was good but I would have preferred it without chocolate . The other one was by far my favorite. The buttery flaky layers were so tasty and sweet. They also had these fruit desserts that I am going to need to head back for. I can't wait to go back!
Sucré Table by Brenda Villacorta is a charming little bakery in the South Tampa area on West Kennedy that definitely feels like a special find. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted with a warm and welcoming hello from the person behind the counter. She was very friendly and upbeat, and I noticed she was doing the same for everyone who came in -- greeting each guest as they walked through the door, which created a really inviting atmosphere. The space itself is quaint and inviting, and the pastry displays immediately catch your eye. The croissants and desserts on display honestly look like little pieces of food art. Everything looked beautifully crafted and almost too pretty to eat. I actually sat down to enjoy a little "breakfast and a book" moment, and the environment felt relaxed and comfortable. They were playing music while I was there, so next time I visit I'll probably bring headphones so I don't get distracted while reading. I stopped in around 10 a.m., and parking was still available, but by the time I left a little after 11 a.m. it was getting pretty scarce. If you plan to visit, I'd definitely recommend coming a little earlier in the morning to make parking easier. What I ordered: * Salted Caramel Latte -- smooth, rich, and nicely balanced with just the right touch of sweetness. * Honey Caramel, Bacon, Smoked Gouda and Egg Croissant Sandwich -- a buttery, flaky croissant filled with egg, bacon, smoked gouda, and a hint of honey caramel that tied everything together beautifully. The egg was very fluffy and well cooked, although personally I would have preferred a little more bacon to balance the egg. Compared to the generous portion of egg, the meat portion felt a bit small for my taste. Even though I'm gluten intolerant, I honestly decided to risk it all for this croissant sandwich, and it was worth it. Thankfully I didn't have any bad reactions afterward -- luckily I'm not celiac. Their coffee selection is great, and they offer a nice assortment of breakfast pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and beautifully crafted desserts. I was also told their macarons are gluten-free, which means I'll definitely be back to try those. Next time I'd love to try a chocolate croissant, one of their soufflés, and maybe take home one of their beautiful desserts or some of the gluten-free macarons. Would I come back? Absolutely. If I'm in the South Tampa / West Kennedy area, this is definitely a place I'd stop by again for coffee and pastries.
It was my first time coming to this spot and It didn't disappoint you can tell everything was made fresh and the service was great. I tried the pistachio croissant and it was so flaky and delicious, and the pistachio flavor really made it delicious it was a bit on the pricy side for pastries but it was definitely worth a try if you wanna treat yourself!
Ordered a Vietnamese coffee and the strawberry orange blossom croissant shot. The Vietnamese coffee is not big enough nor tasty enough to validate the price. The strawberry orange blossom croissant shot was pretty good, I was excited to try it, and the flavors were pretty good all together but I think I expected something slightly different. Worth the stop overall.
Sucre Table is aesthetic -- the whole space is beautiful and the desserts look like little works of art. The dessert tasted good and was really pretty, though it did feel a bit on the pricier side. The coffee was good but not great: nice presentation, but not as smooth as I usually like. Overall, a lovely spot if you're in the mood for something yummy and visually stunning desserts.
This place is soooooo delicious. I love a good pastry and these are the real deal. Sure you can a croissant a lot of places but these are the flaky, buttery legit croissants of France. It's a little pricey but if you've ever baked a loaf of sourdough then you understand why - it's a lot of work! This shop is small but they added a little bakery needs retail area that's very cute. It's quaint and quiet. A great spot for a coffee and pastry at any time of the day. Always friendly service with a smile too.
Such a cute place. Food was amazing and the services was good and they even helped us pick out good food choices. It's not a fancy place but it's cute. Almost like sitting at a friends house having tea. I had the egg and Gouda sandwich(no bacon). It was sooo good. It had a honey glaze on the bread! And we split the Peruvian, hot chocolate croissant and I cannot remember the name of the other one (the half red one) the nameless one was absolutely delicious!! I'd certainly go back.
Came here for a quick coffee & croissant break with my friend. Love that they take pride in the in-house made croissants, pastries, and syrups for their drinks! I got their iced pistachio latte with oat milk (5/5) which had great flavour and not too sweet. We also shared their Almond croissant (3.5/5). Overall a good croissant and enjoyed the creamy almond paste inside. Wish the outside could be more crunchier, it felt a bit stale and soft when we had it. I will say their other croissants and egg sandwiches look very beautiful. The prices here are quite high too, especially $6 for their canele...ouff
Sooo many so many options!!! The shop is gorgeously decorated!! The staff is friendly and attentive. The pastries are work of arts that also taste incredible. The chef definitely knows what she is doing creating these edible pieces of art.
In love with this place! Such a elegant, clean pastry shop! The pastries are all so beautiful. So hard to pick just one! $15-17 per pastry but they are large and definitely need to share! Got the passion fruit cheesecake which was amazing, and the chocolate croissant to go. You order and pay at counter and your food is brought out to you, service is fast and friendly and easy parking right out front, which is hard to find on Kennedy! Definitely recommend! Want to go back and try their drinks and other pastries too!

Let's get down the brass tax. While all the pastries were beautiful I want to honestly add my opinion. Me and my sister bought: * A parfait looking thing in a jar(do not recall). 3/10 was okay not worth the price. * Passionfruit cheesecake($16.50). 6/10 was tasty but something I won't ever want again. * Strawberry Japanese cheesecake($15): 1/10 no real strawberry flavor. Fell super flat but the barista said it was one of their top tier items. * Madeline($4 for 1): 0.5/10 It was a mid cookie, with no real flavor. I would go as far to say Starbucks packaged ones are 2x better. * Yuzu orange blossom refresher($8): 5/10 While the flavor was nice the glass was tiny and stuffed with ice. * Lavender latte hot($9): 3/10 My sister drank this and they sprinkled actual lavender flowers on top of the lavender whip making the flavor overpowering and closer to a soapy flavor. I would like to say I don't mind paying higher prices for higher quality items. I felt these lacked that. While the place had a beautiful aesthetic the ambience was lacking in warmth from the staff. We were helped by one barista who seemed to have a glass smile and no real welcoming spirit. He was quick to help us when we entered though and quick to answer our questions. Later on I noticed they had a shop and we bumped into the owner. She seemed equally annoyed that we were talking to her. I felt like I needed to have gone to prep school or invented an app to get any kind of warming presents. But hey, maybe we caught them both on an off day. I will not be rushing back anytime soon. Not in an angry way but just in a "why bother?" kind of way.
I am Sucre Table obsessed! Love that this is a woman owned business and the owner has competed on Food Network shows! The food is literal art and she always makes fun seasonal pastries like croissants stuffed with different fillings. The drinks are as ornate as the food and there are always delicious seasonal offerings. The staff is friendly and service is usually very quick. The cafe is very chill. I've gone there with my laptop and worked for a few hours and felt like it was the perfect balance of foot traffic without being too lively/distracting. I've introduced many friends to Sucre Table and have been a regular since they opened.
European quality baked goods. You get to watch them make the pastry in house. Chocolate croissants is yum. Bread pudding yum. I can't wait to try the carrot cake with goat cheese frosting. The place is nice considering it's in a strip mall but I will say the prices are high. $15 for a slice of cake. It's an indulgence but you'll pay for it with your wallet and your waistline. read more
If I happen to be around this area and craving some sweets, this is one of the few places that come to mind. Pastry items on the menu are a bit on the pricey side, but worth it if you want to splurge/treat yourself once in a while. Also, during peak lunchtime, parking is limited so you're on your own after a certain point. The atmosphere is a day-lit chill vibe with peaceful music with minimalist, cute decor. My favorite pastry so far is the cinnamon apple brandy roll. My favorite drink here is the lavender Matcha latte. My favorite savory here is the Shiitake and Shallot Croissant Souffle. There's limited seating. Most of the time that I'm here, most people just order takeout with only a few people sitting down with a small party or working on their laptop. there's a nice, peaceful place to have a pastry, quiche, and/or caffeinated beverage. read more
Sucre Table is high class French pastry. We have try many good pastry in different country and final Tampa has one just like that. Price is not cheap. However the price measures up to the high standard. We got the banana tart. It has cream with mousse on top and tart for the capture on ingredients. I can find banana in it. My wife has a chocolate croissant. The chocolate did mixed in the croissant layer. Very tasty. We have good experience there. There is a lot of customers come to visit due to many recommendations. I would said it is good to visit once a while. read more
Yum! Stop by Sucre Table for luxury, unforgettable desserts you couldn't find elsewhere. I can't wait to come back in to try their other creations, and their coveted breakfast sandwich loved by all of Tampa. The staff here was really friendly and loved answering any questions about their crafted desserts. Ambiance is nice and open, they get a lot of natural sunlight from the storefront windows so it is a nice spot to sit and drink coffee and one of their pastries if you want to work here or catch a bite with a friend. Parking is easy, there is a free parking lot out front. read more

The decos are nice, and the pastry presentations are impressive. It's Instagram worthy. However, the pastry selections are limited, and the prices are way way up there. The crossiant is just average at best, and so is the quiche. read more

This spot has been on my radar for awhile. After a recent visit to donate blood across the street at One Blood I decided to treat myself. It's located in a nondescript shopping plaza, it probably wouldn't grab your attention if you weren't looking for it which is a shame because the pastries are incredible! I had an almond croissant and a pistachio croissant. They were buttery, airy, had a nice crisp on the outside. The fillings were rich and the flavors nutty and bold. The pastries are large though pricey at 10.50 each. It's clear the pastry chefs here know what they are doing, the quality is exceptional. The price point will make this more of an occasional visit than a regular spot for me but I'd recommend checking it out. read more

*Actual rating is 3.5* Stopped by on a recent trip to Tampa. This place has been on my visit list for a while and was a little disappointed. The main reason we wanted to stop by was to try the Dulce Latte Chocolate Cake, which unfortunately had a kalhua soak. I don't drink alcohol so unfortunately, we couldn't try it. I ordered a croissant egg and cheese, and my wife ordered a quiche and another dessert on the side. My egg and cheese was lacking seasoning, but my wife's quiche and the dessert were pretty good. The main default is that this place is way overpriced. Somehow, breakfast in California is cheaper than breakfast in Tampa. read more
I would say this is the classiest bakery in the Tampa Bay area. Do you agree? They bake fresh every day in an open kitchen and constantly present different items! I like that they keep you guessing! Service is friendly, the decor is on point and the whole place is definitely spotlessly clean. Everything we had was spectacular but I was really hoping for a pistachio eclair. Maybe next time! I've been stalking this place on Instagram for a while. Every time I am in the Tampa area I google to see how close I am I to this place and every time I am no where near the area. Until recently! On the morning that I went I was planning on going to Orlando after my appointment near by. After my appointment I was there got a coffee & croissant & a Macaroon. I want to buy more thing but the drive from Tampa to Casselberry the dessert wouldn't survive. I am happy with my items. They were scrumptious I can't wait until next time. So yummy! Pro tip is to go early before all the pastries and desserts are out. I got there close to closing time and there were a few desserts available, so I got the strawberry cheesecake. Have never had a cheesecake like this before, so soft and so indulgent. It is obviously gorgeous looking but the taste was unique and refreshing. No overwhelming strawberry flavors. I loved loved the chocolate pistachio crossaint, so flakey and delicious! The flavors worked perfectly and it felt like such a sweet treat. Not a ton of seating here but overall so glad to found a spot with guaranteed great pastries. Service was quick and very helpful! Helped me out with recommendations. read more

We wanted a decent pastry experience while in Tampa. This place seemed a little trendy with a decent amount of foot traffic on a Saturday afternoon. The pecan sticky bun was okay and you can taste the butter. The soursop tart was a better choice of the two with a nice blend and balance between the sweet and tartness of the mousse. The crust was crisp and understated so the mousse filling could take center stage. The lavender latte was a bit sweet for me; however, I did appreciate the level of lavender flavoring and the purple cream dressed it up. read more
I do not remember how I found this place exactly but I looked it up and saved it in my Yelp collections to try at a later time but I do remember reading about it and being like heck yeah!! I was not disappointed during my visit. Once I finally made it into Sucre Table I was questioning on why I didn't come sooner. The inside is totally cute, though small it is perfect for a pastry/dessert shop. I was there when they were refilling the display case with goodies so though I knew what I went though, I was looking at everything else with huge eyes. Stay focused Mari! Also in the background you could see Chef/Owner Brenda Villacorta making more pastries. Always fun to watch things being created. I came for their croissant muffin or as some (me) call it a Cruffin. They have a new one each month and for December it was Guava and Orange. I ordered that and was given a try with gold silverware to take to a table of my choice. It was just beautiful to look at and had a gold piece (edible) on top. I cut into the pastry because it is way too big to eat like a regular muffin or croissant. The middle looked so delicious with the filling and then the first bite. Oh man, it was so good. The filling balanced itself perfectly from the guava/orange and cream cheese. It was light and fluffy and just yummy. I enjoyed every bite. This is a treat because it is expensive for a muffin or croissant but when you think about all the work that goes into something like this you really have to separate the thoughts of it being one of the two names its holds. The food was amazing! Definitely a must go to! The bread was made in house which makes it super soft and tasty. The barbie croissant was so good! The look of the food made me want to come but the taste of the food will have me coming back. The service was great. The girl that check us out was extremely nice and made sure we were accommodated. Hands down... BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH OF MY LIFE! I had heard of Sucre Table from a close friend and tried a macaroon which was incredible with flavor and balanced sweetness. Last weekend I went to to Sucre in person and was beyond impressed. I have never thanked a restaurant for a $12 sandwich but I had to let them know it was the best I've ever had. I'm a fan of smaller menus and this one was amazing. My husband got the almond croissant which was also delicious. We sat in the front corner by a entrance full of live plants. If I had a pastry business, it would be done right, just like Sucre Table and would be this elegant. We will definitely be back and it had set the bar even higher for breakfast and brunch. Thank you Sucre for this incredible food and I cannot wait to come back and try more. This is a hidden gem in Tampa. read more

We have came to try the goat cheese carrot cake on Valentine's however they were sold out, they have offered us a different dessert on the house - such a nice gesture! First time at this bakery, late in the day. I knew there wouldn't be much left but what I wanted to try was there; Black Forest cake. It was a different rendition which I am not sure I would have tried if I had known what it would taste like. I wanted to see if I wanted a whole birthday cake that was similar. Black Forest cake is known to have kirsch brandy which is cherry flavored and makes the cake. This cake did not have it so I was disappointed. I also expected more cream and the frosting to be cream as well. It was a huge slice but for $17 I expected a certain flavor that I did not get. read more
Cute little upscale coffee & pastry shop. I have been at Sucre Table a few times now and I have had a great experience each time I visit. I tried their Salted Caramel Latte, Lavender Latte, Orange Chocolate Latte and classic Vanilla Latte - they are all very tasty. Their croissants are fresh and flaky, my personal favorite is almond, but the chocolate praline is to die for. This place is pricey, but it is located on Kennedy Blvd., so I am sure the rent is insane. I look forward to trying more of Chef Brenda's pastries and cakes in the near future. read more

Overall, I've had a positive experience throughout the visit I had to this bakery, the decor, the ambiance and ultimately the experience in devouring these delicately crafted baked goodies!!! Omg, the outside is definitely hiding a hidden treasure inside! I highly recommend experiencing the artfulness of the baked goods and this charming bakery with ample seating and lush greenery that crashes the eye upon entry! I was really shocked and pleased when I walked in. The staff were all very lovely and knowledgeable of the baked items. It was clean, bright and somewhat magical to me since I love baked items, a clean location and live plants!! I ordered a strawberry macaron, spiced rum and honey caramel brioche pudding and a cinnamon apple brandy roll! All were delicious and I enjoyed every morsel! Everything was moist and oh so flavorful!!! I highly recommend!!! So happy I found this gem! read more
We love pie so undoubtedly it had to be our dessert of choice for the wedding. You can steal the idea :-) I worked with Brenda (the owner) to create a unique array of individual pies for the big day...and she delivered in a very big way!!! Through a careful consultation, we opted for apple tartin in a puff pastry, sweet potato pie sable with torced marshmallows, and key lime pie sable custard with torched merengue. Words can not express how amazing (and pretty) the desserts were. She executed exactly what we discussed and far exceeded any expectations of deliciousness. It was a very small wedding and we had over a 100 pies and they were gone instantly. Everyone ranted and raved about the desserts. Sucre is amazing and absolutely the best dessert spot in Tampa!!! read more
I am giving this place 4 stars because my husband and I really enjoyed the kouign-amann and the other desserts looked super good BUT My husband felt his watermelon drink had a weird taste to it and I didn't like how my iced latte was made. I did ask for a another drink, and while other establishments will remake your drink or change it, they do not do that here FYI. However, the male barista was really kind and made me a new drink which tasted good at no cost. Opt for the iced cafe con leche and add cinnamon. That was good! This bakery is expensive. We spent $30 on two small pastries and two drinks. If you're in the area and want a splurge treat, I would check the place out. read more

This bakery came to my attention recently and I put it on my list. Located in a strip center on Kennedy, it is a beautiful, upscale and tastefully decorated space. The pastry display was artful, colorful and enticing. This is easily a 5 star business but on my visit only 4 stars for a couple reasons, the coffee and the croissants. The coffee is easily remedied by the person who makes it. The croissants however did not hold up against competitors products in taste or texture. The picture will show the texture and lack of flakiness. The pastry items told a different story. Amazing in all categories. Visually delightful, amazing flavors and evocative creations. I had the Salted Baily's Caramel Cake and the Chocolate Prailine. Both were heavenly. I totally recommend the place. Service is courteous, a charming ambiance and a wonderful assortment of goodies to be had. read more
Run do not walk to Sucré!! I am obsessed with everything we got here. The croissants were to die for and this is hands down the best lavender latte I've had in my life. Everything in their case looked delicious and I cannot wait to go back and try more. The store itself is very cute and great for a coffee date or to just hang out. 10/10!!! read more
Sucre Table has been on my list for a while now. Tucked away in a little strip mall, it's definitely a hidden gem. I finally treated myself to a pistachio croissant and latte after a long work week. It was delicious and big enough to be shared. I was hoping the pistachio would be filled with pistachio cream but it was still good. The ambience is so relaxing and peaceful. It would be a great place to meet a friend or catch up on a little work. The staff was friendly. It's a higher price point. A croissant and coffee comes in at just under $20 but this is quality stuff. Their desserts are so beautiful and would definitely be birthday worthy. I think this would be a good stop for special occasions. read more

One of the best bakeries in Tampa Bay. I sent my sister to pick us up some baked goods, so I can't speak to the actual physical location, but I can comment on the food. Unfortunately, they didn't have kouign-amann when she went, which just means I'll have to go back. Croissant - Best croissant I've had in Tampa Bay and definitely one of the top ones I've had in my life. It's flaky and buttery, exactly how I like my carbs. I'm not a huge carb eater because it's usually not worth the calories for me, but this one absolutely is. Egg Croissant sandwich - Usually this comes with bacon, but since I don't eat pork I took it off. It was very good, but I rather savor the croissant instead of add to it, so I think I'll stick to just a croissant next time. Pistachio Tiramisu - My absolute favorite. It's almost like a mousse on the inside and the dome of chocolate gives it a great (and I'm throwing up in my mouth a little for using this term, but I don't know how else to put it) mouth feel. I kept trying to send my sister back to get this again, but unfortunately they were closed on Sunday when she was free. Goat Cheese Carrot Cake - I really like the use of goat cheese in this pastry. It has a LOT of icing, so you need to be an icing person to like this. That being said, I LOVE icing. The goat cheese made it not too sweet and the actual cake was very moist. I love the uniqueness of this cake and would recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different. I will be going back soon. I just wish it was closer. read more

TIP: GET HERE EARLY!! This lady is AMAZING......everything is freshly made daily and you best get there early because she sells out and that's it for the day. Macaroons are the most delicious I've had.....even better than the ones we had in Paris to give you an idea. I had her macaroons (pistachio) at a house warming party where someone brought some to share and fell in absolute LOVE with them. So we just had to pay this place a visit. Not knowing that she sells out we stopped in later in the day on a Saturday (keep in mind she's closed Sunday and Monday)....and she was out of the pistachio already, however we did get some other treats. Yes this stuff is not keto however we always stick by the fact that we can have a cheat day whereby we can have 1 non-keto treat w/o overdoing it. So I got me 1 macaroon and my hubs got a pastry (that he ate over the course of a few days). If you've not been here, GO....RUN!!! This place is heaven. If I could lay my head on a Sucre Table croissant pillow at night, I would. They're basically that big and fluffy. My sister & I grew up going to get ham & cheese croissants at a French bakery, and man... these ones might even be better. I got my husband one to go since I loved it so much & took my sister here before she had to fly out of Tampa. She also got a iced lavender latte & I got an Americano. Both delicious as well. I will be back soon. Possibly every morning... the goat cheese carrot cake looked sooooo good too. It is a little pricey (but inflation, so not surprising) but I hope the pastry chef(s) is making a livable wage. Personally having worked in restaurants, that doesn't often happen so I'm fine with paying more for their chefs talent & hopefully the cost is getting passed to the staff. Edit: I just learned that the head pastry chef and owner Brenda has extensive and very impressive pastry experience. Prices and high quality of food make a lot of sense. Worth the cost!! Also lovely ambiance in the bakery. Music a little loud for if you're on work calls, so wouldn't recommend for remote work if that's your goal. read more
While good- definitely overpriced in my opinion. I like to try my fair share of bakeries and I'm the Chicago suburbs- and while I'm glad I got to try the place just to say I did- this would be a one and done place just based off price. Even if I was closer, it wouldn't be realistic for me to frequent this place on the daily- just due to cost alone. $7+ for a plain croissant- $9+ for a filled one!?! I will say everything looked amazing and what we got- we enjoyed, I just wouldn't do it again simple due to the cost alone. We tried the triple berry cheesecake, an almond croissant, chocolate praline, and the strawberry Japanese cheesecake... my advice for anyone going on a hot day- make sure you have plans to eat everything right away. We were there last August and it was scorching hot- but we were only in the area for a little bit since we ate nearby and I really wanted to pick up dessert before we headed to the beach. Sucre table is the place you want to go if you're looking for something a little extra fancy! They have tons of different desserts to try and a huge focus on croissants of various flavors and forms! I got the caramel s'more flavor of the month croissant muffin it was $11.50 so a little pricey but it was super good and my boyfriend and I ate the whole thing quickly! It is a little difficult to eat so be prepared with lots of napkins. My boyfriend got the XL pistachio croissant it was around $11 as well, we honestly didn't enjoy this one very much the flavor was just a bit bland to me. We shared a salted caramel latte with everything and that was super good, I loved the latte art on top. We will for sure be back. read more

Don't let the outside shopping strip deter you from stepping inside this hidden gem. If you judge this book by it's cover, you'll surely miss the elegance that Sucre Table has to offer. There aren't many seats inside, but it still gives the cute cafe vibes. I personally prefer to pick up pastries to-go, that's always a hit for hosting or celebrating. A few pastries would certainly be more fresh if you eat them there or right away - but that's the case with almost any baked good in my experience. One point of confusion would be the line to order. Depending on when you go there are often people standing around waiting for there orders, so I've easily mistaken these people for a like before. You have to NOT know any better to buy a croissant for $7 lol no French person would do that. Good vibe but TOO EXPENSIVE and It's alright not wow! Please review your prices for what you offer read more
