I've had a really good experience at Suds and Duds Laundromat overall. The laundromat is always quiet and clean, which makes doing laundry much more enjoyable. There's plenty of seating, good parking, and all of the machines accept credit cards which is super convenient. The male employee there is also very friendly and helpful every time I visit. The WiFi can be a little spotty at times, so it's not always the best place to work remotely while waiting. The front load machine pricing is also a bit on the expensive side: - Small washer: $4.50 - Medium washer: $6.75 - Large washer: $9.00 - X-Large washer: $10.75 - Regular dryer: $2.50 - Large dryer: $3.50 One bonus is that it's located next door to a great Italian restaurant, so you can grab food while your laundry runs. The restroom is not available for customers using the laundry. Your sign says it is available for paying customers. The attendant on duty said he went off the premises for the toilet which I absolutely do not believe. The laundry itself is ok. But I will not use a facility which states untruthful policies. This is a super clean laundromat :) The machines were working, change dispenser was working, and parking was easy outside. There was no wait on a Monday at 5 PM. There is a clean bathroom located outside, just ask for the key. I also saw outlets so it's possible to charge your phone and while you wash and dry. 5 stars for the cleanliness of the facility and staff. It's brightly lit and always clean and the staff is always helpful. It is on the pricey side. Cold water is cheaper than hot water, thus if you decide to wash your clothes with hot water the price increases by ($1.25-$1.50) They are open early and stay open late. Free wifi and lots of seating. This is my go to laundry mat and I can trust that my stuff is going into a clean washer and dryer. I catch the staff cleaning the machines and counter tops daily which is a huge plus and also gives me peace of mind. The machines take credit card/visa which is awesome! They also have a coin machine that I utilize. All in all it is pricey, but again I'll pay the price for peace of mind. We used to go to a different laundromat for many years but they have a lot of construction going on so we wanted to look for a spot that had more machines working. I love that this place is open early with a bunch of machines of all different sizes functioning and dryer's that work really fast. I even love that they have a liquor store next-door that does sell soap if you forgot to bring some. Plus there are two great options for delicious food next-door and across the street so why wouldn't you come here and take care of eating and laundry quickly. They do take quarters and have a change machine in the place. I don't remember if they do cards also. And they do have a fluff and fold service but I haven't used it yet. read more

We had recently stayed near Manhattan Beach and needed some of our laundry done; since we had been there over 4 days and or Hotel had no laundry facilities. This place was the nearest place to us, and I was able to get our 2 sets of loads done quickly. There were only a few peeps on that early morning run on a weekend, but plenty of Washer and dryers to use. They had everything you needed as in laundry detergent, ( which I brought some of my own); Coin machines and a working sink and carts you can use to transport the clothes. They also had plenty of counter space you can fold the laundry. The only place close by to eat is a sandwich shop, but I had brought my own snacks. I was out within an hour and was able to finish and off to the Beach. Suds & Duds was an excellent place to do your laundry in a nice clean environment. read more

Not a friendly place when you walk in, an employee just glares at you like you are annoyance. It's a small place and empty when I walked in so it's not like a lot of obvious business. It is clean. They have a row of top loading washers for $2.25 and some large front loading ones for $5.75 (or $5.25). There's a wall of large dryers that are $2 for 32 mins. This is pricier than other places where it's 25cents for about 8-15mins. You have to put in $2 to start the dryer. It's in a smaller strip mall, the parking lot is a bit smaller shared among all businesses. read more

I have been going to this place twice a month in the past three years and I can say it is very clean and both the staff "The lady & the Gentleman" are very friendly and helpful all the time. The machines are very good as well. I just wish that the guy who works there let me use the bathroom since I am diabetic and every time I need to go when he is there he says it is out of order somehow! (I've gone to several) I feel that they are taking advantage of people here $$$$ in comparison to near by places. The old top loaders are generally between $1.59-1.75 @ other places. No more than that! Here $ 2.75 .... like really? Then they have the bigger ones (front loaders) Medium size @ other places they range between $3.7-4.25 here $4.75 The Large Front loaders here $7.50 other places between $5.25-$6.25 like really? They don't have TVs or an area to seat. I only have good things to say about this place. I've been doing laundry here for a couple of years, and haven't had a bad experience. The space itself is well kept and has ample washers and dryers as well as complimentary wi-fi. Wash is $2.75 per load and dryers are 25 cents for every 8 minutes of drying time. They sell detergent and fabric softener on site via vending machines and there are also change machines there that will give you the quarters needed to operate the machines. The location is pretty decent too. The laundromat shares a parking lot with a liquor store and a pizza joint, so you can get snacks while you wait for the wash. If you're extra bold, take a walk across to he Hangar Inn, a great burger and beer bar a stones throw from the sudsy doors. Oh! They also offer fluff and fold every day except Sunday. I have a huge donut bed for my dogs. It is too big for my washing machine. S & D washed it before for $40, a bit expensive, but a good job. I dropped it off week before last, & picked it up a few hours later (agreed to time). It cost $50, & was nicely laundered, but a teeny bit damp in the big crevices. I mentioned this, but did not have the time or energy to wait. If I decide to go back, I'll need to have an agreement for it be be done properly. read more

Suds & Duds is a clean, safe, positive environment to do your laundry and feel comfortable while you are waiting. There is background music that is soft and relaxing, free wifi, tables to sit at and do work - and they take credit cards for many of their washers and dryers. The fact that they have invested in that extra credit card convenience for customers is emblematic of the professional way the laundromat is run. One day I happened to run into the owner who was on site, and I had managed to confuse myself with one of the machines and he was very helpful and friendly. I never carry it so coming to suds&duds on a whim they have card machines. And guess what! They do!
