I called the number on the machine and spoke with Gina. She immediately came on site, refunded the money, and got me on my way very quickly. She gave me a rundown on how to use the payment system to make sure it never happened again. She was so kind and helpful. I have a washer and dryer at home and I still come to this specific laundromat to do bulk laundry once a month. The prices are reasonable. The laundromat is clean and well maintained. I found this place on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! It's located right in the Vons shopping center, which is super convenient, and I felt really safe there. The laundromat was incredibly clean - spotless! I especially appreciated the bigger washing machines they had in the back for larger loads. I used the PayRange app to pay, which was easy enough, but being out of practice, I accidentally paid for the same machine twice! Ugh. I called the number posted and left a voicemail, expecting to maybe hear back in a few days. To my surprise, the owner called me back within MINUTES. She was so helpful and understanding. I texted her screenshots of the double payment, and she immediately sent the overpayment to my Zelle account. Seriously, talk about amazing customer service! If I could give zero stars I would. I've been coming here on and off for the past year because I like the machines here and the cleanliness. Today I use machine # 85 and # 33. Both machines should have totaled $16.50. I added $30 through the app. After starting each machine, I noticed, I was charged twice for machine #85, which is an additional $9. So in all for 2 machines I was charged $25.50. When I went through the app and contacted customer service. The only refunded me $1.50. I sent another message saying that they still owed me $7.50. Instead of refunded me the $7.50 they took the rest of my balance that was on the app so now I have a zero balance on the app.. I still needed to dry my clothes so I ended up having to go to the ATM machine and withdrawing money from the grocery store and then come back to the laundromat to dry my blankets because I didn't want to add any more money to the app Using the app at this location, you might pay double. And I'm really upset because this was such an inconvenience and apparently whoever's in charge of refunding doesn't know how to add and subtract you can see by the photos down below. I've been coming here for months and haven't had any issues until today, a crazy lady who claims to be friends with the owner harassed me and my girlfriend by yelling racist and bigot slurs , accusing us of being dirty and leaving trash and nail clippers on top of a machine we were nowhere near. When confronted, she coward away, but then starting accosting other customers and yelling at them and across the room too. This happened today around 10-11am. Why are there dogs on the folding counter?? I used to really enjoy coming here due to the cleanliness and vast amount of washers and dryers. There's always a coin machine that works, a vending machine to purchase any supplies you may have forgotten, and you can also use the Pay Range app. However, as of late I'm noticing an increase of dogs in the facility (not service animals). I find that to be highly unsanitary in a space where people are trying to clean clothes. Don't get me wrong, I love pets, I even have one, but a laundry mat is no place for a dog, especially when you sit it on the folding counter or it shakes and hair flies everywhere. I think this may be my last trip to this business, which sucks. read more

This is a great little local laundry mat with lots of different size options for washers and a couple different types of dryers. One of the positives is you can use quarters or you can use the PayRange app and pay with your phone but the negative about that is not every washer and dryer allows you to use the PayRange app so you have to pick and choose which washers and dryers you use and whether or not you want to use quarters or the app. read more

I also utilized the fluff and fold one time, just to see what that would be like. No complaints, other than that I wish it were same-day service. Thrifty Wash is my new go-to Laundromat! I went to my normal Laundromat in South Redondo on Easter sunday and found the place overrun with people, no place to fold my laundry once it was dry, and machines out of service. So I left and went to Thrifty Wash and I am glad I did. Thrifty Wash's newer washing machines were great and less expensive than the ones at my old place. My clothes got washed and cleaned with no traces soap and they came out of the washing machines very dry. Not one of my items were dripping at all. This made the drying process take less time and less coins. It was a very good experience and I will be going back there to do my Laundry from now on. read more

Is this laundromat going downhill? I am starting to think so. Normally this is my favorite laundromat. It is large, has a number or different washers and dryers, and the new automated phone app is extremely convenient. However... The last few months I have had distinct problems. There are an unusually large amount of washers that haven't been in service for months. I counted 12 last time. This defeats the benefit of a large laundromat when only a few of the more expensive washers are available. Speaking of the larger washers, they don't seem to have a very good wi-do connection because my phone app repeatedly tells me washers that aren't in use are not available. On my last visit it took 10 minutes just to establish a signal from my phone to the washers. There is no longer an attendant of any kind there so at times the homeless population or people hogging dryers becomes overwhelming. This could be a first rate laundromat, but needs to run itself like a business not a coin-op. read more

I was able to drop my items off in the afternoon and pick them up beautifully washed and folded the next day at 10am. They took great care of my things and I was able to pay with credit card.
