I used to hate doing laundry until I found SUDZ. I live in Seaside and was looking for a clean, kid friendly not outrageous expensive laundromat. Gave it a try and now I'm here every week. There's a bookstore 2 blocks down, the staff is amazing and friendly, there's coffee and water, books and things for kids. They also have a service to rotate your laundry at a very reasonable cost. I came here because their website states that there last wash is at 8:00, and they close at 9:00. Wonderful! I got there at 7:45 and had just one small load to quickly wash. After I put all my clothes in the washing machine, a woman who works there comes up to me and tells me that they close at 8:00 and there are no more washes. When I told her that the website said the last wash was at 8:00, she said that their website was not updated. Really??? It's 2023! They don't know how to update their website? read more

One of the reasons I chose this spot was the access to use a card and not have to look for coins (shortage inUS). Florida help me get started and then I paid in full at the end of use of my dryer. This is definitely my go to place for laundry in Pacific Grove! I love how they use cards so you don't have to juggle quarters and they even have a service where you can pay a dollar per load to have them transfer the wash over to the dryer; so I can just drop off my laundry and go run a few errands and when I come back to pick it up, it's all done and dried! The place is always kept nice and clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming every time! The owner Loni is always so happy and kind and the place is definitely filled with her bright energy even when she's gone! I love that is locally owned and for whatever reason we have a laundry room in my apartment complex but my laundry seems to come back softer fresher and with less wrinkles when I do it there, so that's where I go!!!! The moment I walked in, Florida asked me what I needed and took over. She ran both over-sized items through wash cycles and put them in dryers, telling me that I would just pay at the end. SO easy! The other customers seemed to be regulars. They were also friendly and helpful. The laundromat was immaculate and there were several employees there to help customers. There were a number of plastic bags of laundry people had left to be washed, dried and folded for pick-up. I wish that service had been available when I was working. Great spot to get your laundry done. They also have options to leave your clothes and they do it for you but I've never used that service. I am a local business owner and I have been coming here to do my laundry ever since I've been in town. The staff here is great and always extremely helpful. I also like the variety that they have on the television, sometimes a sitcom, sometimes sports, but usually 90's radio hits. The machines are not coin op and therefor you have to get a sudz card that you can load money onto and not have to worry about change. This is incentivized so every $10 you load you get an extra dollar credit. Overall, great spot. read more

This place is awesome! I just recently moved out here and my new housing doesn't have a washer and dryer. The first laundromat I went to was incredibly shady. It was dirty, there was a homeless man that was kept coming in asking for money. Needless to say I was in the market for a new spot.
