One of their machines didn't drain the water and no attendant was there to help. I had to get my soggy clothes out and to top it off their machines don't wash or dry well either. Tried to call the number to get a hold of someone and # did not work. There is no customer service at all. Should've known their establishment wasn't good when I saw blue painters tape across the bottom of the washers. Hopefully they see this and offer me a refund. read more

omg this place is horrible. The machine took my $10 and there was no attendant to give me a brand new card. The attendant worker was nowhere to be found. I frequent this laundromat when I have heavy duty items, it only uses the prepaid cards to wash or dry. I have a card that I loaded last time I visited. I presented to the laundromat because my dryer is out, I was approached by a gentleman telling me that I could not dry my clothes unless I was washing them there. It's not like I was gonna dry them for free, the machines require payment before they will start! Bad business! Do not go here! I've been here a handful of times without ever any problems. Today that changed, came in and loaded all my washers. As I was loading I noticed a few ladies talking to the owner to what seemed was a bit of arguing, the ladies were telling the owner the machines didn't work and the owner said they were WRONG and they did work. I load up my machines with money and went off to wait. I come back a while late to check on the washers and notice one of them isn't even spinning but it took my money and the spinner on the machine is moving, I open it and half of the clothes were wet and the other half was dry, I get the owner and tell him this and he refuses to believe me he said those clothes were wet, I even had a makeup remover in there with makeup still on it! Whatever I'm not gonna sit there and argue with him I load the washer in a different one and add more money out of MY pocket. He didn't even put an "out of order sign" he just ignored it. Also once I put all my clothes in the dryer and take out my whites some of them looked burned, I don't know if it was the washer or dryer but I'm pretty sure the dryer burned or stained my whites. I will NEVER be back here, horrible customer service, damaged clothes there's so many laundromat places. Beware if you want damaged clothes & horrible customer service that refuses to acknowledge broken machines. read more

I've been coming here for years and I've had it with them. I believe they changed owners at one point since my first visit in 2007. The male owner/manager there is very rude. He lets you know when it's exactly 8:30 that he expects you to be done. The last time I was there, he started to mop the floor while people were using the washers. He was doing this right by the machines in use. He didn't bother to put up a wet floor sign and gave attitude when customers had to walk to the machines to get their clean cloths to dry them. The store operating hours go until 10:00 at night, but at 9, the man locked the doors and sits in his car until the last person was done and then he goes back inside to let them out and then leaves store at around 9:15pm. I don't plan on returning to the establishment again, after being a regular customer since 2007. read more

New review posted 11/22/17: After using this laundromat for over a year, I've decided to do my laundry elsewhere. Unfortunately the place has become significantly less clean as the year has continued, and several washing machines and dryers are often out of order. Additionally, they have a perpetual ceiling leak or A/C vent issue because the ceiling above the folding counter is always disintegrating, molding, and showing water damage. The machines that do work are fine, the owner is very nice, and it's still nice that you don't need to use quarters. However, at least one of the card loading machines is always broken while the other is testy. I'm happy to report I've found a cleaner, better laundromat off of Fourth and Mountain that has a huge variety of washing machine sizes and a card system that takes credit card. Original review posted 8/14/16: This laundry mat is clean, has a good assortment of machines, a nice counter for folding, and is decently priced. The worst experience. I put my laundry in the wash and then went grocery shopping. Theres a stater bros right accross the street. I come back and owner has my wet clothes on the side bc another customer needed the 2 washers.( its a laundry mat there are literally dozens of washers to choose from) She tried to say I left but I said my car was parked right there in front. I never left. Then the owner starts talking about me to the customer in another languege. Thats highly disrepectful and one customer is not more or less important than another. Came to do my laundry and not only does the card machine no longer have any cards but there were NO EMPLOYEES working the "office" to help start up your laundry. I knocked on the office door several times and lingered for 15-20 mins with no one coming in to check on the laundromat. Legit they have everything open and on but you can't do your laundry! Wasting everyone's time. Don't bother calling Bc the number is out of service. read more

Do I need to give any star ?? Rude , dirty machine a lot of Mold on the lid where u put detergent- softener in , 25% of machines in there broke! As mentioned before, this is a very clean laundromat and you will need to purchase a reloadable card for $3.00 to use the machines. There is always someone on hand to help if you have any issues and they provide laundry drop off service for a fee. Top load washers - $1.25, Front load med sized washers - $3.25, Big load washers - $5.00, and dryers - $ .25. I haven't had any issues but it can get busy from time to time and you may be forced to use the more expensive washers at those hours. I have also noticed that not all timers are set equally; I will finish one load while another still has 8 minutes to go even though they are started at the same time. My big con with this place is the amount of young kids that are brought in. I know this is not the laundromats fault but its annoying trying to reason with a 4 year for a laundry cart. On the upside of the same issue, it is fun watching people get hit by the carts that have been turned into bumper cars. read more

This place is horrible 2.50 for a small washer. You have to buy a debit card thing that they charge you 4 dollars for that you can't even use towards your laundry. The owner is rude and don't want to give you change because he wants you to get stuck putting unnecessary money on the stupid debit card. To top it off the dryer is 35 cents which is cheap but it's an odd number Which means you're either going to have to add more money on the card or get stuck with money on this card that I will never use again read more

If I could leave a review with zero stars I would. Whoever the management is, they are terrible awful human beings. Was repeatedly berated to by an extremely unpleasant man who said I couldn't use the washers and dryers without paying. Excuse me? Your machines all charge my reloadable card, with my hard earned cash loaded onto, to even activate and the dryers still don't even dry my clothes in just one turn. Then for same unpleasant man to turn on my husband and accuse us of leaving our laundry in the washing and drying machines all day unattended costing him business. It costs me $7 to even wash in the first place, which I never cared about before. We told him to check his cameras, if anyone was waiting for machines it would be us because we wait in our car in front of the BUILDING. Because of Covid I feel more comfortable waiting outside the establishment. After 2 weeks of this man complaining about dryer use, my dryer has died, he has now put up a sign that says they can only be used by paying customers only. I'm sorry, since when did the dryer stop taking my money at any point that I use them? Used to love the convenience of a quick use, non crowded, close to home laundromat. Cleanest laundromat in the area. FYI - machines do not take quarters, you must buy a "user card" for $3 and load money onto the card. I think it's worth it though since you can tell they take care of the machines. read more

I used to love this place -used to be clean , nice , friendly place.. Not anymore !! . I believe they changed the owner . Most of washing machine need to slam the door or punch the botton really hard for them to work ! Also on the detergent cover(On the Large load) I saw Mold---a lot !!! Usually go here bc it's close to my house and convenient. Mostly go on Wednesday's bc it's the only deal they have. Sucks that you have to pay $4 for a money card, but kept going bc it was local and easy, up until recently. It was only me an the attendant in the store before a man came in, went to the back to use heavy washer and walked out with nothing in his hands. A lady came in asking questions about the laundry service and when she went to use the restroom, the lady told the attendant that there was no paper towels and the attendant responded "just close the door." Another woman came in and the attendant started helping her. I was folding my laundry, when I realized I forgot my detergent on top of the washer. I asked the attendant if she had seen it and she said no. She LIED to my face bc she was the only person in the place of the time when she was cleaning the side with the washers. Best laundromat around.... Last wash is 8:30 clean and all machines are ran on a debit like card. I come once a week and have never had a bad experience... There are some creepy peeps around the shopping center but other than that, this place is pretty decent than your average wash center. $1.75 to wash and 25 cents every 12 min to dry. read more

Went to sudz today because the sign says a penny to dry on Wednesday. I'm thinking a penny for every cycle maybe 12 to 15 mins each right? Four machines 3 cycles each cost me $2.84. They tell me it's a penny for just the first cycle. That's not what the sign says won't be coming back here. read more

Heaven forbid something happens to your laundry... Your going to get blamed for it. The dryers barely EVER work and when you point out that they didn't work they blame it on you, claiming you put to much laundry in. This was the closest laundromat I found on the internet near our house. I called here to find out their hours and the man who answered said that the last load must be in by 8:30. I packed up my stuff and walked over as my husband had the car. By the time I got there they were closed, but it wasn't 8:30. I walked home exhausted with my laundry not cleaned. When you tell someone something, especially if you're a business, you need to stand by it. I could have gotten a lot more done instead of wasting my time on this. read more

Dec27,2015 4pm. I just moved to Newport,Ca from Anaheim. I searched for a laundromat on google. Sudzlaundry was pretty much closer to where i now live. I was having a hard time with this new credit card to wash clothes. I got a little frustrated and yes, i did thump the keypad a little hard. The employee, without a uniform, approached me and sarcastly said if i know how to read, twice with an expression and tone of voice that i did not like. I stayed quiet and listened to her disrespect lecture. I just interrupted her and said , in a very well tone voice that i will be going somewhere else. I checked google for another laundromat and i found another that is just a 9minute walk from Sudzlaundry. Fairview Coinless Laundry. I will be coming to to this laundromat. They are clean, better washers, they have special deals on diffrent days. I will strongly recommend the new friends that i will meet to the laundromat that i am in RIGHT NOW.
