Ate here once and it's a last visit for me. Worst dining experience ever. If you go there, just go for the beer service. Ate there with a group of 7 and the waitress was so distracted. While taking our order she would talk to the table beside us. Took everyone's order so we thought, and it took forever for the food to arrive. Once it did, one of our guest food didn't come out so we inquired about it. She said she didn't get her order. By the time she finally put the order in all at the table had finished and were ready to leave. Then her food arrived and it was just absolutely ridiculous the response the waitress had. We asked for it to be taken off and package for take out. She refused. It was her fault the order didn't put in. She expected us to pay and be happy about it. Long story short she took the food off and stomped off mad. That was the worst I've ever experienced. Spoke to other people about this place and ironically they seemed to agree on the lousy service this place gives. If you you're into the bar side of this restaurant you'll probably be waited on hand and foot. But Eating there with a large group don't expect them to get your order right. Guests with us got hot wings and they were burnt and dry. I think the group that are with us would probably agree, this isn't worth the money to eat here. read more

My family and I really use to enjoy the food and atmosphere here. Everything was clean and the food was good but recently we have had too many bad experiences to really ever go back. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting the last time we went, flies wouldn't stay out of our food and the servers were more worried about socializing with each other than helping the customers. I've been here twice now when we were visiting my sister-in-law in Anderson. They have really good chicken tenders and the last time we were there, hubby had a burger. He said it was a standard bar food burger. This time, I ventured out and tried the nachos. I wasn't all that impressed, but they were still good, just not sure I'd order them again. The seats are kinda uncomfy because when you are in a booth, the bench isn't as wide as normal, so you kind of feel like you're falling off the chair. Anyways, we will definitely be back to try some more of their food... but I'd recommend the chicken tenders! read more

This restaurant has the small town, local hang-out feel to it. It's right off of the interstate and sits to the side of the main road by its self, so you can't miss it. The waitresses are very friendly and they have a very down home, country kinda personality. It was pretty quiet in there, and they have TVs so you can watch sports and grab a drink or two. The bar serves a variety of bottled domestic beers along with a few brands of whiskey and liqueur. As for regular beverages, they serve fountain Coke products. Unfortunately, they do not have bottled water, if that's a concern of yours. The menu has a variety of sandwiches and burgers to choose from along with a few seafood options and steak. My choice for today was the Patty Melt which had a beef patty, sautéed onions, and provolone cheese on two toasted slices of bread alongside some seasoned french fries. The wife and I have been here a few times, took the family last night & I won't again. I know it's a bar so you have to expect a band or karoke & that's ok, maybe a little loud for the kids! The food however, is VERY hit & miss... I LOVE their homemade fried mushrooms & a couple other menu items. The "cajun" wings I had last night were horrible! I think I still taste cloves?!?! I ordered them grilled and they came out fried & overcooked. Told my waiter and he said "That's what they smell like, cloves! they're not really cajun and kind of sweet, huh?" Such a shame that a place I eaten at for years has changed so much. 3 weeks ago with guests at our home we placed a large order and Sues made the order incorrectly. No big deal everyone makes mistakes. I called immediately and spoke with a sweet sounding young lady who said no problem and apologized and followed up with "I will write this in the book and we will correct the portion of the order that was incorrect " however after speaking with 3 employees tonight including 8 year MANAGER BRENT I'm being told that it wasn't written down and Sues policy is NOT to correct their mistake even if it is compounded by not writing it down. I told Mr Brent that he lost a customer over 20 wings. Do NOT give them your money there are other options folks read more

I'm not one to write reviews for restaurants, but this was the worst place I've ate at in a while. In my experience, We had to wait on the receptionist for at least 15 minutes. Once she came back up from she had a bad attitude then we were told us to seat ourselves. The three tables that were open still had cups and food on them. So we had to stand there while our waitress cleaned the table off, but our waitress was very nice unlike other rude waitress I could overhear. We ordered an appetizer, but it was by far the worst food I have eaten in a while. The chili was horrible absolutely the worst chili I have eaten it tasted very soured. Our food came out cold but despite our waitress not talking much she did an excellent job at refilling our drinks. It was also a bit pricey for the quality of food served, but regardless this restaurant is a two star purely because of our waitress. read more

OMG I use to go to this place all the time, best burgers ever. Went there yesterday at 11:45am. Not many people in the whole place, sat down ...7 minutes later, a waitress brings a menu and straw to my table, sets it down and tells me someone will be with me in few minutes, I told her I know what I want, she looks at me and says, someone will be with you shortly. 7 minutes later, I walked out. The worst place to eat in Anderson S.C. went to eat with family and the waitress seemed distracted and she took our orders but my food never arrived. Asked her about it. She disappeared for along time. I inquired again and by this time everyone at my table was finished, even though my son's wings were nearly cooked to charcoal. So she says it will be out in a little bit. I waited and waited. We were all ready to get the check and leave when my food arrived this was unacceptable. I demanded it be free because of the lack of courtesy she gave us. She actually argued about doing that. Once she agreed I asked for a box to take it home. Guess what this waitress did?? She grabbed my plate of food and took it to the back to box instead of bringing a box as was requested... I took that food home and fed it to my chickens. There's no telling what happened to my food when she took it to the back. She had a nasty attitude and I wouldn't have been surprised if she didn't spit on my food or worse. Anyway I'll never step foot back in the awful place. It's only still open because of the bar scene. If you're drinking there you'll get treated fairly but I didn't have that experience. read more

Wow! After reading that one horrible review I was a little reluctant to try Sue's but I am glad I did. The fries were crinkle fries. Good but nothing special. (I believe they also have buffalo chip fries and steak fries.) The wings were the star of the meal. Nice size, cooked to my liking, crisp but not dried out and not over sauced. Had Tims sauce which is apparently closes flavor to buffalo wings. Thoroughly enjoyed them. Were they the best I ever had? No but being just about in the middle of nowhere and just off the highway they were pretty darn good. The service was friendly (no evidence of the clique or any stare downs). The fries were hot and crisp but the wings could have been a little warmer. But again glad I went and I will be back. read more

We had burgers and salads. The burgers were very good and the salad very fresh. My teenage daughter, who's a vegetarian, ordered a loaded baked potato with out bacon. When it came out with bacon we had to send it back. They were very apologetic and quickly replaced it. Overall great service and great food. Dinner for 4 including appetizer was under $40. read more

I came here a few weeks ago for lunch in a Saturday. I was pleased with the service which was friendly and quick. I order the chicken tenders and fries and the portions were large and well priced. They gave me plenty of honey mustard which is very important when eating chicken tenders. I even had enough to dip my fries in. They weren't too greasy either! However their medium wing sauce was BROWN and tasted sweet and vinegary. I ordered the chicken breast sandwich with the medium wing sauce. The chicken was burned and dry. This restaurant is terrible when it comes to placing a order. The lady who answered the phone put me on hold the first time for over 5 minutes. I called back again to place a order and she put me on hold again for over 5 minutes. I think this is horrible customer service because the customers who call in orders are just as important as the ones who dine in there at the restaurant. Each customer whether dine in or call in should get the same respect( treatment) because the business will gain or lose customers based on customer service. It's a bar with a restaurant. That's about as simple as it gets. Wings are great. All meals we have had there have been good. Booths are not real comfortable, and service is usually slow. Don't go there if time is an issue. If the booths were more comfortable the slowness of the service would not be a big issue. Wait staff is always polite and professional. read more

What a disappointment . We have been here several times and for the most part we enjoyed our overall experience but this last one is gonna keep me away for a while. The DJ in the corner of bar area played music so loud you couldn't hear the person across the table. The waitress left us waiting for drinks, then again our appetizer and then to take our order. Our party of 3 ordered fried pickles- I am confident they sat in the window under a hot lamp for 10 minutes. When we ordered drinks, half of the beer advertised was no longer available. And waiting 15 minutes for the first round of drinks should have been an indication of how the evening would go. The bar area where we sat was not crowded so there was no real justification for all of the delays. Maybe the delay was because of the distraction at the bar where 3 louder than normal men were cheering on a female bartender showing off her pouring skills. Then the local sheriff walked in so one of the 3 loud men proceeded to give a dancing performance to bad boys that the DJ was playing over the speakers. #drunkinpublicmuch? The food arrived so we looked for redemption, however the food once again was aged by the heat lamp and when 2 of our 3 party order "hot" wings, they expected to have to wash it down with milk- instead they licked their fingers as if it were barbecue sauce.
