Our family loves The Lazy Chicken. It's great for kids as well. I usually get the 4 fingers dipped in the medium Buffalo Sauce with fries. Both of their BBQ Sauces, on every table, are awesome. I've had many items on the menu and all of them have been great. Plus...free vanilla ice cream...you can't beat it. In the evenings you typically won't have to fight a huge crowd. The Lazy Chicken is a great meat and three spot. The food is always well-prepared and the staff are very quick at getting the orders served. For this visit I tried their meatloaf which was great, maybe not as good as my wife's, but still fantastic. Of the three items on my meat and three plate, my least favorite was the mac and cheese. Not that it wasn't very good, but it was more like a skillet "Kraft" mac and cheese. I'm always partial to the old-school, Southern, Mac & Cheese. The Okra was fantastic, crisp and light and cooked perfectly. The Cole Slaw was not what I expected in that it was more of a Thousand Island base rather than straight mayonnaise, but I still enjoyed it. They do serve Pepsi products which I'm not a huge fan of, but they serve soft-serve ice cream to make up for this. If you need a good lunch/dinner spot, The Lazy Chicken is fantastic. read more

It's a shame this restaurant has very poor service! The food is great! But not one thing is worth paying for if you are going to treat your costumers like dirt!! I paid $50 for 2 kids chicken plates and a half roasted chicken plate and a grilled chicken plate that comes with two tenders... no drinks other than what came with the kids plates. The lady behind the counter told me I would have to pay extra for the sauce for my grilled chicken because it was grilled!! Last time I checked it's still chicken!! You pay $50 for food and they can't give you a little sauce for your chicken?! She was very rude! I paid the extra anyways but me and my family will not be back!!! A Business that is worries about a little $.35 is struggling anyways! So clearly they needed it! But what about the person in front of me that didn't need or want the sauce?! What about me who is allergic to your ice cream and can't eat it anyway! ( ice cream comes with every meal) We have come here for years and up until about a year or so ago they use to have all sauces on the table! I know we have hit hard times but it is a chicken restaurant everyone will want sauce with there chicken! No matter is it Fried roasted baked or grilled!!! And no where in that place did it say you can't get a sauce with your grilled chicken! But WORSE they were ugly about it!!! Not supporting ugly people! The place was absolutely filthy! My co-workers have recommended me to try this place out, and I finally stopped in today! I'm glad I did, because it's really good! It looks small on the outside but inside it's actually a pretty decent size with ample seating. It's very clean and smells of their roasted chicken. You walk up to the counter and order your food and wait while they prepare your food. You can dine in, take out and they even do catering. I love all the variety of sides they have to offer and homemade cakes you can order by the slice! I tried the chicken salad wrap with a side of pasta salad and it was soo delicious! The spinach wrapped this amazing chicken salad that had the best flavor, with crisp and fresh Romaine lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes. The pasta was bow tie salad that had a carrot, celery, onion and tomato medley with a tangy dressing. It was all very good and decent prices for all you get! $9 for a wrap, side and soda. Ok so I really love roasted chicken. It's probably one of my favorite foods. The Lazy chicken has great roasted chicken but the actual chicken they give you is really small in size. I have to get the half-roasted chicken since the portion is so small. Sides are pretty good. The squash casserole is more like squash with cheese mixed in, but it's edible. The mac and cheese is kind of the same. The breading for the chicken tenders must not have any salt in it because they are very bland. My co-worker had to add salt to her salad which was kind of weird because her chicken lacked flavor. Also, they give you one small portion cup of dressing for a big salad then charge you for "extra dressing". One 2 oz cup of dressing for a lunch salad is quite, ummm, puzzling. Now that I think about it, you clean your own table and the trash is nearly impossible to put into the trash "barrel" because the slot is so small (I get it..they don't want to lose the trays), but this is also kind of strange. On the bright side they do offer free ice cream cones and play good music! read more

This restaurant is my families absolute favorite. We have been coming here for years and I am now a long time vegetarian and still happily come here with them. They always have great specials, the chicken is delicious, and I am all about their sides - so many good options. My coworker found this place & brought back a to-go box that smelled ridiculously good. We went there together & I was hooked.
