Replace the first floor baseboard with high output baseboard. Peter measured the job up and returned with Christian another day to complete the work. I admit I was impressed with the concern that was paid to how each peice was installed. A level and tape measure was used on each peice of baseboard to insure that when completed the entire run was the same height and on the same plain. Each cover was trimmed if needed so it fit together properly. When they were done they cleaned up after themselves and even helped me put my things back, which they didn't have to do. I could say I'm happy with the work they did and leave it there. The truth is I'm really impressed with the work did, it came out more beautiful than I hoped. They showed more attention to detail than they had to, and the price was very competitive. Its been 7 years and Pete is still doing really prideful work. I tried duck taping up the pipe where the water was leaking from. I surrounded it with towels, but nothing could be done till Bob came to the rescue. I called 10 plumbing companies. I left messages at all of them (24 hours they claimed... nope!) I was on the phone with the 11th when Bob called me back and said he could arrive within the hour! He did an amazing job and replaced these leaky bendable type pipes that have been there since I bought my condo with copper ones. He soldered like a champ. He didn't just replace the one that was leaking, he did the other one too. Also- he was very circumspect. Wore a mask (we are living during the Covid 19 era) and I felt safe at the distance and precautions he took. A+ work My home is saved! What we thought initially was a smaller issue turned out be a much larger one and the owners Joe…read moreand John both came out and put their heads together to figure out this very complicated problem and had every guy on staff here the next day... The team was here from morning till night, cutting out cast-iron, cutting holes in the foundation digging trenches you name it‍ but once they were gone, you wouldn't have known they were here. What looked like a war zone, lol was cleaned up and they made sure everything was up and running and working the way it was supposed to. A very large unexpected expense BUT for the amount of work that they had to do over here, the price was actually very reasonable. The most important thing was the hands-on care, effort and concern and to quote John, "we just want to do the job the right way for you so you never have another problem". I had water leaking in my kitchen, under the…read morewalls, through to the bathroom, and even out the front of my house between the wall and the concrete slab; worst of all, I couldn't even tell where it was coming from. I first called a plumber who advertised free estimates - he came to my house the next morning, looked around, didn't have any idea of where the water was coming from, and suggested that I call my insurance company because he said they would probably have to remove my kitchen cabinets to get at the walls... the insurance company said it was up to me to start the repair, keep all the bills, then file a claim. So that was a waste of time. Then I called another plumber - a very nice older man, he came over right away. But still, he couldn't say where the leak was without sawing through the back of my cabinets and opening up the walls, and since he had no helpers, the job would be too much for him. Understandable, but still no help to me. As I started to search for yet another plumber, a friend of mine called me and I told her what was going on. She recommended that I call her plumber - George - and I am so glad I did! George was at my house the very next morning, and with his assistant John, they really took control of the situation... checking everything - plumbing, water meter, boiler, dishwasher, refrigerator, and they even checked the air conditioner unit in the attic to make sure that buildup of condensation was not an issue. They were able to saw through the back of the main kitchen cabinet to expose the pipes (absolutely no damage to the front of the cabinets, and the cabinets did not have to be removed), and they discovered that the water line leading to the refrigerator (for the ice maker / water dispenser) was the source of the leak. They took care of the problem, advised me to leave a fan running to dry up any remaining moisture, and by the next morning everything was dry. They were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and very efficient. Plumbing problem?... Call George! Next time someone asks me if I know of a good plumber, I will answer with a resounding YES!
