Chicken Shawarma Platter with Yellow Basmati Rice and salad
    Troy C.

Pita Shop is always a delicious choice if in the mood for middle eastern cuisine. It's located on red road in a nice little shopping plaza that has both indoor and plenty of covered outdoor seating. The service is quick with ordering at a counter and then your food is quickly brought out to you. My favorite go-to order is the chicken Shawarma platter. It includes two sides and you can't go wrong with any of them. My favorite is the yellow rice, but for a second side I'll switch between a Greek salad or pita bread to make little wraps to eat the platter with. It also comes with a garlic spread sauce which adds tremendous flavor to the dish. If in the mood for authentic middle eastern cuisine and in Miramar, I would highly recommend Pita Shop as it is delicious, a great price, and also a ton of food that is made to order!

Found this place by luck & so happy I did ! I was looking to pick up food to go but I wanted to try something new around my area .. and this location came up for Mediterranean food . After a quick looking at their menu I was ready to order . The lamb gyro was sooo fresh and delicious, it wasn't too salty at all , and I even requested the sauce on the side just in case , with a side of fries that were fresh to order. The hummus was delicious and creamy , great for sharing . Need to definitely try more things for this restaurant, there's so much to choose from .

This place is hidden GEM !!!!! The food was super fresh, the service was fast. The hummus was freshly made, the perfect amount of paprika and salt, came with the softest pita bread, I ordered extra bread because it like cloud bread soft and warm. The gyro sandwich was huge, came with season fries that had the perfect crisp. Also try the Jerusalem Mix and the meats were well seasoned, tender and had a nice bbq taste. .

Fast, convenient and delicious. All the right reasons to hit up the Pita Shop if you're in the mood for bursting halal flavors in every bite of their chicken, lamb and falafel. The gyros are a great size for the price, you will leave feeling satiated not overfull. Clean and comfortable space to sit both inside and out as well and staff work super fast to bring your food to you. Certainly a regular stop when in Miramar.

I left home without lunch & noticed this Mediterranean restaurant nearby and ordered online. My meal was ready on time. The indoor dining was bustling on a Thursday afternoon. I was greeted and obtained my order. I love gyros and this one did not disappoint. The lamb was overflowing! I ate at the outdoor covered patio. I am stuffed and happy. Can't wait to try other items on the menu next time.

Delicious! Fresh! Mediterranean goodness! First time ordering food from the apoya Shop here in Miramar and what can I say... I am VERY impressed! Staff were friendly taking my order (take out or dine in options), food came out in less than 15 minutes, and for a to-go over it was A L O T of food I could say two people can share a plate and be good haha. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food given. Highly recommend and definitely will be ordering more from here ^.^

Delicious food and amazing service. 10/10. This is one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurant. Everything and I mean everything is sooo delicious. I usually get the gyro lamb pita sandwich, ( which is my favorite) it has so much flavor , so much meat and super fresh, it never disappoints. Today I decided to try something new. I got the Jerusalem mix platter and all I can say it wow amazing!!! It was sooooo much food , literally big enough for 2 people. They were really generous with the meat and it comes with 2 sides. I got the Greek fries and rice which had lentil in it . I will definitely visit once again!! The ambiance of the restaurant feels homey , very chill vibe.

This place was REALLY good beyond my expectations. The hummus was great, falafels super fresh, meat was tender and juicy, and even the french fries were good. We've had both takeout and dine-in, and both experiences have been good. The food is rich with flavor and there's a wide variety options in the menu. Best of all, the entire menu is halal. Definitely recommend the mix platters. We'll definitely be back!

    Description of my Lebanese dish

I had lunch here. I also used a restaurant.com voucher for this establishment. Have a look yourself to see if they are still running the promotion. The service was friendly and prompt. The place was clean. The restrooms were clean too. The location is in a small complex in Miramar - and there are a few other eating places there (Cuban Guys, a Jamaican establishment, and a taco place - from memory) I ordered the following - Lebanese Delight - It comes with pita bread, Hummus, 2 kibbeh pieces, 2 grape leaves, baba ghanoughe and tabouleh salad. This was very fresh, and nicely presented. The tastes were excellent, the pita bread was soft and fresh. The hummus was on point, I loved the baba - it has aubergines in it, which I love. The grape leaves had a rice filling - they were a little over done. The only complaint I had was the tabouleh leaked too much watery substance, the longer it was in my plate. This meal is very generous and you most definitely do not need a side salad! a side salad - This is a side dish - and in fact is quite generous and good value for 2.49. Again after a while some watery solution was sitting at the bottom of the bowl.

I'm OBSESSED. I have recently become a Mediterranean food fanatic and have been in search for the best Mediterranean food in the area. Pita Shop is definitely the winner. Everything about food was amazing. Everything tasted so fresh and homemade. The serving portions were also great and the food comes out fast! The flavor of the food does not relay heavily on the accompanying sauce which is something I feel some local Mediterranean food spots struggle with. The seasoning is superb. I absolutely love this place.

This place doesn't look much from the outside, it has a good amount of seating inside. We walked in for a late lunch and the female behind the counter was very welcoming and helpful. We went with the chicken kabob along with Greek salad as the two included sides. We also ordered some tzatziki sauce. It took them 20 minutes to prepare, but all the food was amazing. The chicken had some nice seasoning, the salad was fresh, the tzatziki sauce was perfect, along with the accompanied garlic sauce. The dressing for the Greek salad had too much vinegar; they should use more Olive oil. One thing I have to mention is that as soon as we walked in, there was an overwhelming smell of smoke from their grill. This made eating inside the establishment quite uncomfortable. They should know better, and fix the ventilation system above their grill. For this reason, I recommend this place for takeout only.

    Easy to read menu.

I placed the order online which was quick, easy and convenient and it only needed to be booked about 2 hours before my scheduled pickup time but I booked more than 24 hours in advance. My pickup time was 630 and I got there around 645 and was greeted promptly by the friendly staff. They started bringing my things towards the front but another couple came in to be seated and my stuff was just left on the table, not really handed to me like most places. I ordered chicken kebab, a Greek salad and a large hummus, and had called to ensure that pita bread was included. It was , but they literally have me the bag of pita. It was not cut or toasted, just in the bag as if I got it from the grocery store. I also requested cutlery which was not included. A lady walked up to me and said "it's ready!" And walked away. I guess I was expecting better service or even some help taking it to my car if possible. The taste of the food was what I remembered but the chicken was cold and I had to find a way to cut the pita and warm it up for my guests prior to the event starting. For $200 I would've expected a little better service than that. Maybe because it was a slow rainy Thursday, the service was not that great, but it also doesn't make me want to go back. We just set up and ate so I didn't get any pics of the food, but my guests were happy with the taste of the food after I was able to warm it up.

But the star of the dips was the spicy feta. We could not get enough of that. And the warm pita bread just kept coming. They have a nice selection of Greek wine and Mythos beer. Three of us had the salmon, and they all loved it, shrimp saganaki was very tasty however, a simple caveat, they should remove the shell. It was a bit difficult to eat. The Gyro sandwich was quintessential. Chicken kebabs were delicious, flavorful, not dry. And the Greek paella was a hit with my brother brother-in-law. I chose the shawarma and falafel for my plate and loved that the latter was cooked fresh right in front of me and was just right (crunchy and flavorful).
