Said there was a 24 hr "sanitation" period and that we could either reschedule (for the next day after we were already there) and wait the 24 hrs or buy new jewelry. She then said she'd "waive" a $25 processing fee that we were supposed to pay to reuse jewelry. Meanwhile, no one of this information is provided on their website as true. She was trying to scam us. We came back less than 24 hrs later after rescheduling, and they sanitized the jewelry then, even though she insisted they had to keep it to autoclave it for 24 hrs prior to piercing. It was a total scam. I will never return to MOLA again. She should be trained in how to treat customers. The girl that did the piercing was great and very sweet. There seems to be an "organized chaos" method for how the premium piercing rings are displayed which is off putting. There was limited information (when asked) pertaining to metal quality which is important for people with sensitivity. I've patronized this establishment in the past and was disappointed in the somewhat lackadaisical attitude of staff today. It only takes one bad encounter to lose a customer and generate a bad review. I elected to get a nose piercing and Chelsea helped guide me through the whole process. It was soooo much easier and less painful than I had expected it to be. My only reasoning for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the $20 cleaning spray should be included with the price of the piercing/jewelry. I went for a free piercing and ended up spending over $100 on what I thought was a $65 piece of jewelry when you added the cleaning solution, tax, and tip.

I was here on…read morevacation with my 5 year old who has been begging to get her ears pierced, so we chose Rowan and came on our vacation for a "core memory". We kept up with the all ofthe aftercare instructions (cleaning / turning of the earrings), and only 4 weeks later started to tell me her ear was hurting. We happened to be at the doctor for something else, so they took a look & had to remove her earring to look at the back. The earring was SO right / against her skin it was starting to rub her skin away & concave into her ear lobe, so we had to remove it & treat it with a medicated ointment to avoid much worse complications if we kept it in. Now my daughters right piercing has closed up, and she is traumatized with the whole experience due to the pain she experienced having it on & at the doctors office. Now, she only has one ear pierced and I spent way too much here to go through this aftermath.

The jewelry is organized by style and size so it's easy to find what you're looking for. The prices are great compared to other shops. They offer the option to put the jewelry in for you for $5. It is not fun trying to find a parking spot in this area. But on the bright side, it is free.
