This place was alright. Good croissants, but I didn't think it was worth the price. The establish is kept well cleaned and staff is friendly.
Ube Matcha is good, the ube is very creamy and not to sweet which was great. the matcha was alright, I would definitely get it again. The pesto bacon sandwich was bomb, has sour cream and the bagel is fire.
I came with my little brother and my sister in law and it was an amazing experience! the staff was super nice and friendly, answered my questions since it was my first time and even gave me a few recommendations! will definitely be back! the food was good and hot when served! the drinks were a 10/10! will be bring my mom and little sister to try!
Extremely good food! Ooey-gooey bacon pesto was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a while. Sandwich is on a cheesey jalapeño bagel and has crumbled bacon, egg, cheese, pesto, and cream cheese, come with a hash brown on the side. Croffle and latte were also very good! Would definitely come back again. Staff was very nice and they are dog friendly!
Came early morning for a coffee and they have a lot on the menu but I ordered the cafe con leche hot and it was pretty good. I will say the location is inside of an industrial complex so I did loop around once. What I didn't really like is the person at the register asked for my phone number without telling me it was signing me up for rewards. She told me after she asked for my number and I was a little thrown back. Other than that... pretty good :)
Cute little coffee shop with really good coffee. I ordered a latte and it was solid, but if you're into sweeter, more indulgent drinks, they've got a great variety to choose from. Only thing I'd change? The cups. I kind of wish they had a logo on them, just adds a little personality, but that might just be me. The young lady was nice and it was welcoming environment!
The drinks are great!! Marzipan Coffee- so good. Had the little marzipan bites at the bottom. I was afraid the drink would be too sweet but its actually perfectly not too sweet. It doesn't hurt the throat at all. The coffee carries through. I chugged it so fast. That we had to get another drink. So we got the next recommended: Wicked Matcha Ube- their Uber foam is delicious. Coconut, Uber. Their matcha also is good as its not too bitter and the fusion of flavors is great. Turkey Sandwich: its like an egg mc muffin with a croissant. Came out super toasty and hot. Super worth it. The egg is nice and soft. Chocolate croissant: this one was actually just ok. Which the filling was different as it was just chocolate sauce. The outer part already had sauce drizzled on topp. The croissant was super flacky but a bit too dry, not soft on the inside. The interior is very nice and smells good. Clean aesthetic. Would love to come again to try more drinks.
WOW! First time here today, couldn't wait to leave my review. Finally got to try this cafe and it did not disappoint. Super cute, cozy, homey interior as many rave. The chorizo burrito was amazing (this is the reason why i came, because i'm always looking for a chorizo burrito near my work and struggle) and the salsa got DEVOURED! Not embarrassed to say that I pretty much drank the entire salsa container provided with this burrito lol! The iced shaken espresso with white choco mocha was great, i will be opting for oat milk next time, as i said yes to the standard whole milk and i wish it were a tad sweeter (my preference!). Parking was great. I can't wait to go back. Will happily support this business for as long as i can :) Thank you for the great customer service, didn't get the name of the awesome woman who took and prepared my order today.
Had an amazing time here, it's definitely a hole in the wall type of spot and my matcha tastes like it was made with love! They're super nice and patient with me and had plenty of parking available. It is a little pricey but most places are nowadays, definitely give it a shot if you're in the area.
Overall experience is 3.5 stars but I'm rounding up to 4. Stopped by on a weekend to pick up something savory, and I splurged and got a pastry too. The Pesto Provolone sandwich can be provided in multiple bread options and I selected croissant for the richness and texture, a good choice that I enjoyed. The pesto was applied all around but a thin layer, so it is not dominant and meshes well with the other flavors. Melted provolone cheese was great, and the croissant was crisp and warm. The raspberry danish looked appealing and has a nice balance of filling inside. The raspberry jam is strong and a bit sweet for my palate. This is one critique I have for other items on the menu too, since I asked and was told which other items were also sweet.
I like trying different coffee places and was craving something pumpkin. Their seasonal menu looked fabulous. Walking in today, there was nobody to greet or say hello. You can see the full back room and it was just super off to me. The poor girl who was working was the only girl working as she said sorry it's just me today. You could tell she was overwhelmed. I ordered a pumpkin cold brew but there was no pumpkin flavoring at all. Very bland. Get this girl some help and enhance your flavors if you are going to have such a robust menu. I use to work at a cafe alone and would never just be stuck in the back not able to say hello. Wont be returning but the 2 stars if for the girl working by herself on a Sunday AM.
Let me start this review by saying that customer service is excellent. My favorite thing from here is definitely the cookie butter tres leches cake. Absolutely delicious. My rating is from my last food experience here. I tried the chorizo breakfast burrito & let me say this. I was not impressed. As a Chicana I make waaaay better chorizo burritos at home. It's simply eggs, chorizo, & cheese. Which it might appeal to some but as stated as a Chicana I did not like it. The eggs inside needed some seasoning (salt & pepper) because they tasted plain to me. The cheddar cheese with chorizo is a pass for me. I'd incorporate some beans in the burrito to make it a little more filling along with queso fresco, & avocado. Also there wasn't much chorizo in the burrito, mainly egg & for it be called a chorizo burrito the chorizo needs to stand out which it did not. The Mazapan latte was ok, but it's not something I'd go out of my way to get again. I couldn't get the taste of Mazapan up until the very end when I noticed big chunks of Mazapan at the very bottom. I'd crush that up more into a powder & blend it up in the coffee to get the Mazapan taste because those chunks just sat at the bottom which made for a sweet treat at the end but was not truly incorporated within the latte as I would have thought. I'll stick to the cookie butter tres leches cake because that is absolutely a star, some might think it's too sweet but hello it's cookie & cake combined of course it's sweet. You have to try it for yourself, I love it. Thank you to the friendly staff.

Cashier/Coffee maker person with short hair doesn't seem to want to be there and clearly doesn't listen. No one seemed like they wanted to actually be there... I order a HOT Cafe con Leche and was asked twice hot or ice and both times I said hot and still managed to get my coffee iced. & it was OVERWHELMING sweet. Cookie butter was order iced with oat milk and it was terrible. Tasted like artificial syrup and water. Both of these flavors were noted to be customer favorites. Not sure how but they are. Bagel was good but please, cream cheese on both sides or offer it on the side so customers can do it themselves....

Cute! Love the vibe. Walked in to a jamm'n Mexican beat. Bright, airy space. I grabbed a book at the "Take a book, Leave a book" corner. Iced Chai Latte was good. As far as Iced Chai's go, this one leans toward creamy sweet. Ham n' Cheese croissant was warm and melty. Yum. A little too salty though. All in all, I recommend. read more

The inside of this place is super cute--it definitely gives "study spot" vibes. Somewhere you can hang out, get work done, and snack. The staff were also really nice and let us know that the cookie butter tres leches is made fresh in-house daily by the owner, which is always a plus. Drinks: * Cookie Butter Latte - It was okay, but honestly didn't have much flavor. A little underwhelming compared to everything else. Food/Dessert: * Cookie Butter Tres Leches - Absolutely delicious. This was the standout for me--so flavorful and clearly fresh. * Ooey Gooey Pesto Bacon Melt - So good I didn't even want to share . Ended up splitting it anyway, and my boyfriend loved it too. * Ooey Gooey Ham & Cheese - Exactly what it promises--ooey, gooey, and super satisfying. Easily a 10/10. Overall, the food here is amazing and definitely the highlight. The drinks didn't quite match the same level, but I'd still come back for the food alone. read more

First time here. The staff is warm and welcoming. Suhai and Aries were professional and courteous. They know there menu and recommended their top seller. We ordered their ooey gooey croissant and their chorizo breakfast burrito. Surprisingly delicious and homemade taste. The decore inside is warm and they have real plants on the table and merchandis. Really a wonderful vibe. We will spread the word and please visit this establishment and gives us your review. read more
This coffee spot is sort of hidden amongst the commercial and industrial buildings of the Santa Fe springs area. The staff was kind and greeted us immediately. There were only two orders ahead of us and it didn't take long for our names to be called. They make good lattes and fraps! Didn't get to trying their pastries so maybe next time! Sugar and Spice located in Santa Fe Springs, CA. We were pleasantly surprised by their creative drink options and sweet treats! Iced Honey Nut Cheerios Shaken Espresso w/oat milk This drink was unexpectedly interesting! You definitely taste the cereal, but it's not overpowering or too sweet. This latte is only available iced, which honestly is the best way to enjoy it. This drink has fun twist if you're looking for something different! Iced Cookie Butter w/oat milk This latte is made with Biscoff cookie butter, merging the sweet flavors with a good bitter coffee taste. This drink leans more on the sweeter side from the cookie flavor. This Biscoff latte is different from other cookie butter drinks we've tried, but it was still enjoyable. They source their pastries from a bakery in Palos Verdes. But what really stood out was their in-house Biscoff Tres Leches Cake, a rich, and creamy dessert you wouldn't want to miss. The barista gave us the complimentary pastry to try and we couldn't be more thankful. My friend and I were stuck in traffic on the 5 on our way to Disney when we decided to find a place to stop for breakfast. I pulled out my handy dandy yelp app and found this spot just 3 minutes off the highway. When we entered the shop we immediately noticed how adorable the aesthetic is, with plant accents around a rustic decor. Considering how small the space is, you feel like you have plenty of room to relax and enjoy your coffee. The menu presented coffee classics, updated favorites and inventive creations that made it challenging to decide! Options include gingerbread chai, mazapan latte and pumpkin horchata. Their eats featured breakfast sandwiches, burritos and a specialty item called "croffles" or croissant waffles. The woman who took care of us gave us the time we needed to decide without feeling pressured or rushed. She was very sweet and provided excellent service. We opted for the croffle avocado toast and the ooey gooey ham and cheese croissant sandwich. And we both got the pumpkin chai latte, dirty with oat milk. I had the sandwich and I was quite pleased with it. I am not normally a ham person but the combination of ham with garlic herb cream cheese and a hash brown inside a croissant appealed to me. I'm glad I did, it was delicious. They used a Savory, smoky ham instead of a sweeter style. It paired perfectly with the cream cheese and hash brown. While the hashbrown was softer than I expected, I thoroughly enjoyed it nonetheless. My friend had the croffle avocado toast and she loved it. She also got a free churro donut for leaving a review! I am not choosing to take them up on the offer as I was full from the sandwich but I was able to snag a bite or two of my friend's. It had great flavor but admittedly it was a touch dry. Maybe the condensed milk on the side instead of a drizzle? The dirty pumpkin chais were fabulous. Great pumpkin flavor, great chai flavor that didn't taste like it came from a concentrate. 10/10 would get again. One small complaint, I wish we had gotten our food on a plate of some sort rather than a to go container. Even a 6" compostable would work. For my friend, it was hard for her to cut a bite as she was restricted by the container. Otherwise I loved everything. I highly recommend trying out this spot. read more

Customer service was really weird and one employee with short hair was kind of rude and answered our questions all dry. The cookie butter lattes were honestly very bad no hint of cookie butter at all. my vanilla latte was fine though. Matcha quality looked really awful read more

This is a lovely cafe that opens really early in the morning. They have no-meat burrito that has egg and black beans which was really nice and comforting. The drinks are good but they're just too sweet for me. The pastry was yummy and chocolatey but quite sweet for me, although a sweet tooth might like it very much. They also have free treats for dogs, free wifi and lovely vibes. No restroom but the nail shop next door by the same owner has it. read more

Honestly surprised how much I enjoyed this place. Most coffee shops these days lack taste and are all gimmick. But the flavor of the cafe con leche and cookie butter coffees were delicious, the chorizo and pesto sandwiches were delicious and the cheese danish pastry was amazing. Definitely HIGHLY recommend. And the staff was welcoming and nice. All around an awesome first impression, and a lasting impression at that. read more

Came in because my daughter saw them on TikTok and needed that Caesar chicken wrap The coffee was on point I had the café con leche and she got the cookie butter one.
