I had just driven by the farm with their giant "pick your own strawberries" sign, and decided to do this in between wine/beer tastings along Nelson 151. *Pick your own strawberries for $3.49 a pound. Apparently you can bring your own container for picking, but they do provide white buckets. *I picked strawberries from Patch #1 which faces the road, but there's more patches in the back, which I wish I'd checked out, because I suspect a lot of people go to Patch #1. So I'd encourage you to be aware of Patches #2-6. *There are portapotties and an outdoor sink set up with soap and paper towels. *They have a small market with some McCutcheon products, strawberries for sale, asparagus, and ice cream in pints. I had a cup of their delicious strawberry ice cream afterward.
