Walked in and had to wait while the 2 clerks finished having their fabulous conversation about their hair with the customer in front of me. Meanwhile 2 people after me come in and both get friendly cheering hi's while I'm still just waiting for anyone to even acknowledge my presence. Finally after about 5 min when the first customer is almost done the 2nd clerk decides they really DONT need 2 people to help talk about hair and asks oh did you need anything? Ridiculous. Ordered the gooey butter milkshake and it did not disappoint. They mix the cake into the shake, serve with whipped cream and a cherry and a fat straw to slurp up those cake pieces. Very sweet and indulgent but tasty! read more

While I'm not an ice cream person, I've now been here two times and had great experiences both times. Unsurprisingly, this place serves ice cream. They seem to have a lot of flavors to choose from, including your typical ones (e.g., cookie dough, strawberry, etc.). In addition to ice cream, they also serve gooey butter cake, sandwiches, and sodas. I had a turkey sandwich here and while it wasn't anything particularly special, it was good. The thing I love best about this place is their gourmet sodas. Both times I had the pina colada soda. It was absolutely delicious. In addition to pina colada, this place also has a ton of other soda flavors to choose from, so I plan to try some others in the future. With that said, I would highly recommend the pina colada. We went during an event down on main street, so the shop was very busy. The two employees working were very fast and friendly, and still took the time to pleasantly answer any questions that were asked despite the long lines. Finally had the chance to check out this soda shop last weekend. My friend and I did not try any sodas this time, as they err in the process of changing their sodas so had limited flavors. We did try the gooey butter cake shake and their new chocolate cake flavor of the day shake and they were both very delicious! They are quite pricey, but you get a huge shake. The only thing I wish was that we had asked the size a head of time and split one, or that they had small sizes. We go here at least monthly! They have a great incredible selection of custom made sodas and syrups, phosphates, and GOOEY BUTTER CAKE! Regular, flavored (raspberry, peanut butter, brownie). The kids working the soda shop are great and friendly and the owners are awesome people! Why support a chain when you can come to this type of small business with great atmosphere and lots of yummy deserts! Little O's is kind of a strange one for me. I really like the soda they have their and they have a very large selection of flavors. Also their ice cream their is great as well. I really want to like this place and I've been there several times and like it for the soda. The inside is a poor layout that makes it very difficult to walk around inside. On top of that typically it just doesn't seem like the cleanest place around. Not that it seems dirty but just very unorganized and the workers just don't put any of their supplies away when their done with them. They just kind of leave them lay out everywhere. Another thing that just kills me about this place is that the staff never really seem to know what their doing. I get the feeling that they are honestly trying to do the best that they can but it just doesn't seem like they have a good system in place. I do enjoy getting sodas there when I'm walking down Main Street so I'll typically just get one and take it with me as I walk. read more

They also make the most amazing Gooey Butter Cake you will ever taste (for real). The butter cake recipe is top secret handed down in their family. Worth the money. I know $6.50 (8 after tip) sounds like a lot for a chocolate malt but it's home made and on main Street (rents are high). I come here 2-3 times a week. Easy 5 stars.
