One of my favorite places to get my ice coffee. Breakfast sandwiches and muffins are very good too.

    Coffee bar.

Great neighborhood spot in this day of chain establishments. Vast coffee selection and among the best breakfast sandwiches. Reasonable pricing as well. Drama free and friendly personnel are a bonus.

The best coffee shop in Dorchester. Coffee is amazing, staff is so kind. Adorable grab and go spot to get your day started right!!

Was a really close walk from where we were staying and the ambience was really nice! We ordered an extra hot cappuccino, it was definitely extra hot but it was more of a latte. Server was really nice as well.

Fantastic coffee, really unique how they I fuse the flavors into the coffee rather than using syrups. Very reasonable prices with a great atmosphere.

Sigh*. I told myself I wouldn't be back, but I kept passing this place and it's been over a year and I'm all about second chances. A few things they did improve which I'm really happy about! They accept card now!! That's huge. And their hot drink cups are sturdy and more decent looking. The service though is still subpar and not very friendly. The inside looks exactly the same but behind the counter looks a tad more clean. My coffee though? Still had to toss. Too watery. And I love to make Lavazza coffee at home! Which is what they serve. I wish I could just see what's going on with their espresso bar. I'd love to clean it, properly set it up, and teach a few tricks on how to froth milk.

Bacon, egg & cheese, chocolate milk.

She was so excited when she found Cafe Bonjour because they had several gluten-free options on the menu. We took an Uber there right after we landed and were able to walk right in and get a table when they opened, which worked out perfectly because the place started to fill up! It's a cute little spot with plenty of seating inside, and they also had a nice outdoor parklet that would be great in good weather. We asked to sit at the bar so we could watch the cooks in action, which was really fun. The menu had all the classic breakfast favorites like eggs and French toast, along with some lunch options like hamburgers and chicken wraps. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My wife ordered the gluten-free eggs benedict and absolutely loved it. I had the Bonjour omelet, and it was delicious. South Street Diner was one of the few places open that early, so I decided to give it a try. Parking was easy at that hour, and I thought it was kind of cool seeing a classic diner tucked in among all the large office buildings downtown. I was in the mood for pancakes and ended up ordering the diner special with eggs over medium, home fries, corned beef hash, bacon, and pancakes. Unfortunately, the food was mostly average to below average. The eggs were a little underdone, the home fries were slightly overcooked in spots, and the toast was pretty standard diner fare. The homemade salsa was actually a nice touch and added some flavor to the potatoes. The biggest disappointment was the corned beef hash. I was hoping for something homemade, but it reminded me of the canned version I grew up eating. The texture and flavor just weren't for me, and I ended up leaving most of it behind. The pancakes were okay but a little dense and doughy, nothing particularly memorable. On the positive side, the coffee was decent, the service was fine, and being open early is definitely a plus for travelers. Overall, I'd put this one close to 3 stars. It's convenient if you need breakfast before sunrise, but the food didn't quite live up to what I was hoping for.

I came here 4 times when in town for a conference, as this way super conveniently located to the conference center (Menino). It's open 7am-10pm daily, is always seemingly busy but always very efficient and fast to deliver orders, and has a huge amount of comfortable seating. First visit: I tried the vegan breakfast burrito ($12), a nicely designed burrito with tofu, potato, spinach, roasted red peppers, vegan cheese, and mushrooms, served with salsa on the side. Very solid burrito. The Spanish burrito I tried another day--which came with vegan meatballs of some sort--was even better. Second visit: I got an açai bowl ($9 for the small size; $12 for regular), and added vegan protein powder ($2) blended in. It came with açai blended with almond milk, banana, strawberries, blueberries, and granola. Real good and plentiful even for the small size. Third visit: just ordered a bagel with vegan cream cheese that had tomato in it, and added some spinach on top ($5.50 total). Very generous spinach portion (for $0.50!), well-toasted bagel, and an appropriate amount of cream cheese. Very tasty. Moreover, each time I visited, I ordered a double espresso ($3.50), which was excellent. Proper espresso, deep body, strong, served with sparkling water and a piece of dark chocolate.

Our wait staff was incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing, and the whole experience was truly out of this world. I started with the Golden Tide, which was a delicious combination of pineapple and orgeat flavors. Refreshing, tropical, and a great way to kick things off. For appetizers, I ordered fresh raw oysters and the scallop ceviche, I honestly don't know much about choosing oysters, so my waitress basically gave me a mini oyster class and I was impressed by how knowledgeable she was! She explained the differences between oysters, including how some are creamy and briny while others are much saltier, almost like taking a bite straight out of the ocean. Such a cool experience and something I genuinely appreciated. And that scallop ceviche? Hands down, the BEST ceviche I've ever had. The scallops were incredible, and I loved that they served it with root vegetable chips instead of the typical tortilla chips. Sweet potato chips added such a unique flavor and texture. Absolutely delicious! For dinner, I had the sumac-crusted tuna with haricots and assorted vegetables, and it was fantastic. The tuna was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and paired perfectly with the vegetables. Between the food, the atmosphere, the energy, and especially the knowledgeable and attentive service, Row 34 delivered a dining experience that I'll definitely remember. This is exactly the kind of restaurant that makes dining out feel like an experience rather than just a meal.

We wanted just a touch of tea, and happened one of the locations of Tatte Bakery & Cafe, the one on Summer Street near the Financial District. I am guessing around 25 seats at tables, another dozen or so at the coffee bars, more at a counter along the window. There were bright spring flowers outside, around 20 seats at tables, and maybe 10 Adirondack chairs. We got a simple black tea, with sugar and milk, and noticed that the tea is in more of an open-mesh net than a finely-woven tea bag. The tea was strong and rich with no bitterness. For a bit of lunch, we can't resist a traditional shakshuka. They say it's "North African" style: poached in a rich tomato sauce with bell peppers and onions, flavored with cumin and lightly spiced with chili. Lovely, dense, and satisfying.
