The staff was so sweet and helpful. I live in Texas and ordered this cake for a surprise birthday party. They were able to execute on the exact image that I sent over. However the delivery was late. The delivery was going to an office so it was imperative that it was on time even with a 4 hour window they still did not deliver the cake on time . The owner called and offered free dozen cupcakes to be delivered to my area of choice . I decided to take her up on it and order the cupcakes to go to the exact same address which is 20 min from their shop might I add. Needless to say they were an hour late! I purchased my husband's 30th birthday cake here last August, and I was extremely happy with the quality of the cake and the service that was provided. Giving my cake order was simple and painless (researching what I wanted before I went in probably helped.) I also emailed the business back and forth requesting quotes for different ideas and provided photos as an example. They were extremely accommodating and helpful. I ordered a three tier cake. Top and bottom tier was "funfetti flavor" which is my husband's favorite and the middle was amaretto raspberry. The amaretto raspberry was my absolute favorite. They serve this as a cupcake daily, however they sell out quickly because it's so good. The cake I ordered was "naked" with dollops of frosting around each tier The cake was soft with great flavor, I have never had a tastier piece of cake. The cake served about 50-55 and cost around $300. Plus a delivery fee of $50. A bit on the pricier side but to me it was a decent cost to get exactly what I wanted. My husband and I visited this past weekend to re live that excitement from last August. We got a couple cupcakes, and we were a little bummed. They were not as tasty as I remember the cake being. The cupcake as a whole just seemed to be stiff, not like the soft luxurious birthday cake I ordered. We did visit an hour before closing, so I will give them another try for a random sweet treat. First they messed up the spelling of his name and then since we asked them to deliver it to our house which we paid 60$ for. They delivered the cake to the wrong house!!!! They didn't even call us to let us know that they were coming or anything and after we called to complain, they said that it was the delivery service fault and not theirs. They also forgot to bring our cupcakes at first. They came later again to bring them and fixed the spelling of the name. He had gotten a box of 4- 1 champagne a vanilla cupcake with white frosting and pink sprinkles cute but I didn't try that one.. Two chocolate cupcakes chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate chips ontop. The last one which I had was Ana amaretto cupcake vanilla cupcake with white frosting and almonds ontop. I love a Amaretto so I had to have it, the frosting was just plain vanilla frosting a little hard ontop but creamy in the center. Too sweet for my taste, the cupcake had the amaretto in which was good just the right amazing of flavor . As I cut the cupcake in half I had a nice surprise there was a raspberry filling which was good but not a big fan of raspberries. The raspberries tasted homemade fresh jelly- had the seeds and all. The owner was extremely accommodating, super friendly and worked with me on the design. They used the exact colors/style from my party invitations on her cake! I didn't even want to cut it, it looked so good. Her smash cake was a simpler, smaller cake, beautifully decorated. The cake balls I used as party favors and people loved them. The most fun I have ever had in a bakery without actual eating any cake! I signed up for the cake decorating class after seeing the pictures on a Facebook page and deciding that this was my birthday gift to myself. Holy moly, these ladies have figured out how to teach you how to decorate your cake so that it looks expertly done--my family was astounded and didn't believe that I did all of the decorations. I've purchased two cakes from them now and the experience is just so-so. I'm giving them three stars because when it comes to design, they are top notch. Whatever you want, they can do it and it will look amazing. But there is more to a cake than just the design. For my first cake with them they had me pick the frosting which for us was a big part of the cake, but when we got it, it was a one-layer cake with a micro-thin layer of frosting and then fondant. The problem was the girl who took our order specifically promised us a thick layer of frosting. We bought another cake with them this week and it was supposed to have cream cheese frosting but it did not. And the overall taste of both cakes was just ok. And to top it off a 9" round cake costs $140, so you end up with three stars. So if design is most important, this place is a option but I believe the are other bakeries that make better cakes for less money. read more

Thankfully the step-mother brought a homemade carrot cake laying on aluminum foil, and the party devoured that.
