It was so annoying every time I did my makeup, to have to take extra time to just to try and even out my eyebrows with eyebrow pencils & all kinds of different eyebrow makeup. All that work & when you take a shower or go swimming, it smears right off. Delanna was so gentle & patient, waiting until I was completely happy with the shape (I might add I'm a perfectionist) before preceding with the process. She took her time to make sure they were perfect & even, & that I was completely satisfied with how they looked. She made sure the numbing cream was working before blading to make sure I was comfortable. She thoroughly explained how to care for my newly bladed brows, & even gave me a sweet little after-care package. I was nervous about microblading, as it was new to me & I've heard horror stories of people who's eyebrows got messed up, or developed scar tissue from an artist going to carelessly or too deep. Delanna did such an amazing job & made the whole experience a pleasant one! She made sure to make a follow up appt with me (microblading is a two step process, due to some initial ink falling out or just any changes in the initial healing process)... & after my follow up appointment, I'm so happy with my new eyebrows... they are perfect, even, & just beautiful!! & they don't come off in the shower ;) I can wake up every morning feeling beautiful knowing my eyebrows aren't going anywhere. I've really been hesitant to write a review. I'd had my…read morebeautiful lashes for over three months, never a problem, even then falling out. My Gal G is amazing. I made an appointment with Monica through a referral after returning to California. First meeting with Monica was amazing, very friendly, shop cute and clean. Felt comfortable. My lashes look good but they itched, felt heavy, got crusty and made my eyes red. Second visit same, I let her know I was Allergic to a lot of things...I called the gal who started my lashes, in Oregon, explained my issues, I asked what glue she used she told me Stacy Sensitive. My next appointment with Monica, told her what G said. Monica pulled out some glue she said was for sensitive eyes. Great!!!! Eyes felt better, but within three days my left lashes were almost gone, my right eye was gone by day 6. Got ahold of Monica to come in, she wasn't work, holiday, which is fine, sun glasses,, so within the next couple day's I was with zero lashes, all that money invested. Texted Monica again to cancel my upcoming appointment, all I get is," Oh no, sorry" been so busy ", no problem. Not, we'll, come in let's fix this. Disappointed Lesson learned. Apparently the glue was old. Buyer beware.

Several weeks later, I finally made an appointment, and I was not disappointed! Maria was warm and welcoming, and made me feel at home. She had a lovely scent enveloping the treatment room (an aromatherapy diffuser, I believe), and she started by having me take a few deep, relaxing breaths so as to better receive the full benefits of the treatment. The treatment itself was soothing and wonderful. Afterwards, Maria did not once try to sell me on future services or on expensive products. She asked only if I'd like to make my next appointment then, or if I'd prefer to call when I was ready. She gave me samples of product, but didn't hype them, tell me I "should" be using them, or try to push them on me in any way. I've been to other salons and spas where everything is very sleek, the employees are highly groomed and made up, and there is an air of elitism (the other side of that coin is the air of tacit disapproval if one doesn't buy a line of products or immediately schedule another appointment). Maria and her clinic are nothing like that. Not only is Maria a down to earth and pleasant person, but she is also a talented esthetician who clearly loves what she does, and is motivated by the desire to help people. I left with my skin baby-soft and glowing, and I will most definitely be returning.
