Came here for first time on my bday to see The Horror Circus show. It was definitely a nice experience and the show wasn't too bad either. Parking was not an issue at all. It is a little bit of a walk, but nothing crazy. Inside was really nice. The only downfall, I will say is that there was only one bathroom, one stall. And in a big place like that it definitely should be more than one bathroom other than that, I will definitely be coming back here for another event and or show. Sugarloaf PAC layout ensures that no matter where you sit, you'll have an excellent view of the stage. The sound is absolutely perfect too! Not too loud. However, one downside is the lack of handicap parking spots, which is a huge inconvenience for those with walking issues. Their film festival was a complete waste of time and money. They did NOTHING to advertise the films, and posted only the titles ONE day before the fest, and had no description of the films whatsoever. They seemed to have no issues asking people to buy tickets, but offered nothing in the way of what you were actually buying tickets for. After 18 years of attending a variety of film fests, this was by far the most underwhelming and poorly planned. The folks running this "festival" could not have cared any less about it, and seem only to be in it to pocket submission fees. This felt like a total cash grab festival, that has no regard or respect for the filmmakers or the audience. You have parking, you have an amazing location, why you wouldn't want to do your best to market that is beyond me. Driving over an hour to be one of three people to an entire theatre on a Sat afternoon was ridiculous, especially when so many people were interested, but had no information or updates to go on. read more

I visited the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center for a hyprov show and I loved it. The theatre is quaint, intimate, and there was a huge parking lot that accommodated all vehicles. The venue is easy to navigate and the staff were all very helpful throughout my visit. We scored seats in the third row from the stage for a fantastic price. I would absolutely return here for a show based on what a fabulous time I had. read more

I am most disappointed that refund/credit not available option due to the serious poor weather of today. I realize it takes a lot to put a show on, however, it is not a safe option to risk one's life to try to get to a concert in such unsafe and dangerous weather and driving conditions. My friend purchased 2 tickets for the 4pm show we were both looking forward to attending. You might want to rethink your policies and be more mindful of others. read more

The place is beautiful! All employees are helpful. Shows are excellent too. A big WOW all the way around.

To start off, been here before pre pandemic to see the production of Les Miserables. And we were able to take a tour of the place. it is a gorgeous small venue. There is even a room upstairs in which has another small stage there too. and one can exit around there too. huge parking lot too. They also have dinner and a show where i think they use that room upstairs for. Went here on Thursday March 21 2024 for the Yellow Brick Joel Concert. Went with my parents. We were on Billy's side in the 6th row from the front. Not bad pricing for it either as it is $55.00 per person. I enjoyed the show. i enjoyed hearing hits like "We Didn't Start The Fire", and "Can You Feel The Love Tonight". It's probably more the band, but applaud them for being modernish because anyone born after 1994 may say the Elton John's greatest hit is Circle of Life or Can You Feel The Love Tonight, because it's from a movie that we loved in our childhood. enjoyed hearing other songs too, like "Rocketman", "My Life", "Piano Man", "You May Be Right", "Movin' Out (anthony's song)", "Your Song", "Philadelphia Freedom", and many others. sound was good throughout the whole performance, and it was easy entering and exiting the building. Maybe hope to see another show. Although suggestion: something modern: A Taylor Swift impersonator, Britany Spears, A Boy band tribute (2000's: NSYNC BSB, new kids on the block, Jonas Brothers maybe) Music is music, but i think it is important to try to appeal to the younger generation too. read more

The place is kept very clean. The help couldn't been more helpful and congenial. We ate there and the food was so delicious. Can't believe I haven't been here before. If you get a chance to go here don't hesitate. Loved my evening and Wayne Newton was unbelievable. Couldn't have been happier. read more

First off...the place is nice...small enough where everyone has a good view on the stage...my first time attending a show here since the additions were made and i was impressed ....I attended the MJ Illusion show last nite..fantastic show all around BUT the sound was horrible! All night long "Michael" was struggling with the mic..it was either too quiet or OFF!! Could barely hear him over the band..the drum sound was actually annoying with the tinny snare coming thru so loud...the sound engineers were awful! i felt bad for the performers :(. nothing is worse than crappy sound engineers. so my initial rating is A for the venue, and D for the sound crew read more

Just went here tonight to see Randy Travis, this venue is awesome. Looks like a giant barn, small enough so every seat is a great seat. Small bar upstairs, accepts cards. Everything was clean and the staff was extra friendly and helpful. Parking lot right on the side of the building, very short walk to get to the front door. We're already looking at future events to come back! read more

We just saw Rob Schneider recently , last October the Rocky Horror celebration , This performing art center is small but Perfect and nice people working there are helpful especially to special needs people my daughter was treated beautifully . I will continue to enjoy attending shows here. The area of sugarloaf is so beautiful and a great restaurant across the street , highly recommend . read more

From the Outside not visually appealing. Looks like run down farm building with not great roads. Parking lot little far and also gravely. However, once inside it's terrific. Nice little Lobby. Once inside actual theater has that nice old theater feel with spacious seating that is comfortable and as Non cramped as almost any venue (and I go to lot of them) I've been to. Decent sound and good excellent site lines. Glad I found this little Gem of a theater. read more

****Apparently this location is under new owndership since this past fall (of 2018), so it could be different.********* (2017)I found this location online when looking for a wedding reception with a rustic feel. After I found out the price was in our budget, we went to visit. We fell in love with the beauty of the reception room and the flexibility of when we could set up since we were setting up ourselves. Most other places didn't let you set up until the day of and being the Bride and Groom, we could not set up the same day as our wedding. I always wanted to do all the designs and set up myself. The staff member I worked with originally was very helpful and responded fast in the beginning. After we signed a contract and paid the deposit it all started going downhill. I didn't hear from the staff member for weeks at a time. We scheduled another walk through and we all took off work for it and she forgot about it. During the walk through with my DJ and parents, she told us we couldn't set up the day before anymore. We were devastated because we had people coming into town early to help us set up the day before/people had taken off work to help. We were told the reason was because there was no staff available to come to the facility to let us in. After much stressing, she said we could set up the week before which was not ideal being that that meant all the table settings would be set out for a whole week! After that, she went on maternity leave and turned over handling my wedding to another staff member who didn't actually work at Sugar Loaf-they worked at another facility an hour away and didn't know the Sugar Loaf facility at all. Once the other person took over and they received our last payment, we were told we could no longer set up before the date of our wedding reception. By this point it was only a few weeks until our wedding and we were freaking. That was the whole reason we picked this location!! After many attempted phone calls and emails (no one would answer), we were told we could pay $2000 more to have the place opened up the day before to set up!! This was never the deal in the first place and we had no more money in our budget! It wasn't until my fiance (now husband) went and found someone to talk to that they finally agreed to let us have 3 hours to set up the week before. By that point we didn't want any more stress so we took the hours and got as many friends who were available to help. By God's grace, we were able to JUST finish in those 3 hours. We had to ask some of our guests to skip out on the ceremony to help set up the table settings because they would have collected dust sitting out for a week! Needless to say, I DO NOT recommend hosting any type of event at this venue, even though the facility and grounds are beautiful. :( read more

I attended a function here. The auditorium is great. It had comfortable seats wide ailes and plenty of leg room. The box seats are also great, offering good views and plenty of space. Concessions were very limited, though and parking wasn't ideal. read more
