Disappointment Horton's. We rolled up behind one car in drive-thru, they waited one minute, we waited five. "I'll be right with you" does not mean five minutes. Five minutes in front of a drive-thru speaker is totally unacceptable. Then the woman has the audacity to deny they forgot about us. Whatever This is the only TH in Michigan that hasn't the capacity to sell soup or chili. Probably the best fast food chili in the world and they don't offer it. Kinda strike two. Aha! They managed a couple stars with the peppermint timbits and the fabulous hot coffee! Oh no! They forgot my receipt. I have no choice. I Must submit all receipts at the end of the day. The younger girl with the glasses flipped the windows open and snapped at me. "ARE YOU WAITING FOR SOMETHING?" When I explained my receipt situation, she looked at me as if I'd just grinched her kid's Christmas presents. Then came the eye roll, followed by the heavy, pissed-off, sigh. The service is horrible. It takes 15 minutes plus to get to cups of coffee. This is the third time I've been through this facility in the past 2 years. I believe there are to many menu items for the staff involved. They seem to try hard, but are overwhelmed. read more

The donuts tasted like old oil the only one in the place working with the manager everybody else was standing around and they have a lot of staff. We're always excited to go to a Tim Horton's, however, thus experience was so bad we regretted going to this location. I don't think we'll ever go back to a Tim Horton's. We bought a glazed donut, it tasted old and gross! We had to throw away egg & sausage biscuit it tasted like old medicine! Store was dirty and gross! The service was awful one of the worst, employees seemed like they were forced to work, nobody acknowledged any customer, they were all frowning, out of 6-7 employees only 1 preparing food, the rest just stood there whilst people were in line both inside and drive thru. After standing for 5 mins or so to place our order one employee finally went to counter to take our order didn't say anything, didn't acknowledge ,just stood there to take order FROWNING!! When we got our order we had to ask for the coffee that should've been included in our meal. After we left found out hash brown was missing! Ambiance was not friendly, seemed like nobody cared being there and feels like we're a disturbance. Work environment feels like it's filled with animosity! First time ever trying it, passing by headed to another town. First impression: it was ok, was told to wait a bit before ordering then they assisted us, got our order in. Ended up using the restroom was semi clean. The staff was busy making orders we got our food and it was fresh and ready to eat. Disgusting. Watched an employee off the clock walk in with plain clothes and their kid in tow and start eating out of the hot held food area. No gloves no hand wash. AND during this time they weren't even making my food. Had to watch all that and then wait longer. Dining area was filthy. Every table was dirty and food was all over the floor. read more

Long wait, disorganized, bunch of confused high school students walking around, cold food, gave us the wrong order and would not give us the remaining food. We exited at Gaylord when I saw the Tim Horton's sign, because I've wanted to try their coffee and doughnuts for sooo long. I walked inside, full of enthusiasm, which was met with total indifference by the young man who waited on me and answered my questions. In fact, none of the employees showed much enthusiasm for their job (after all, it's only a job). It was mid afternoon, so there wasn't much of a doughnut selection, but I bought a small box of doughnut holes (with way too much sugary glaze on them) and a cup of coffee to go. Extremely disappointing. Went to Tim Hortons to get some ice cream at 9:15pm on Friday night. The girl that was working the drive through came on the intercom and asked what she could get for me. I had said the ice cream I wanted and she said. The ice cream and food are put up, because I close in about 15 minutes. The sign on the door said 10pm. Pulled out of the drive through to see her talking to her boyfriend who was sitting at the next drive through window. Obviously she just didn't feel like working. read more

After paying for our order, they kindly asked us to pull forward. After doing so, the employee came outside and gave us everything but the coffee we paid for. UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE. There is not enough space to write about my THIRTY MINUTE fast food experience. I don't normally write reviews but I had to share this with the world. If you've ever thought about getting a bagel and coffee, you won't find that here. What you will find is pure entertainment. I have never, never, never (I repeat NEVER), seen a more unorganized business. It was not funny at the time as there were 4 of us heading home from up-north and were hangry but it has provided another hour of laughter as we reflect on how terrible that experience was. We waited 5 minutes to order. I assumed their computers were down as there was one person ahead of us and he stood at the counter waiting to order the entire time. They weren't. They were just that slow. There was 1 person making the food and 2 people at the counter who did not know how to take orders. The cashier just stared at us, instead of saying "next customer" or "can I help you?" so I ordered. We got an iced cap, a breakfast biscuit sandwich and an everything bagel breakfast sandwich. Our friends ordered behind us when the cashier told them they were out of plain bagels. So they asked for an everything bagel and the cashier did not understand that they did not ask for a 12 grain bagel. Two issues with this. There were plain bagels in sight and they only make about 5 bagels, he should know what an everything bagel is. There was a women who was wearing a black shirt, assuming she was the manager, who was aggressively yelling at the staff. She repeatedly yelled "were out of chicken! Who ordered the chicken! You cannot press the chicken button". It may not be common sense but normally restaurants do not passively insult customers who order from the menu. It also seemed weird to us that when the cashier told the manager "I need to clock out" she responded "I don't know buddy" in a frantic manner. Two things: she should know her employee's names and also respect the employee's schedule. He was not asking. He was telling her. The 6 customers that were in the store had to repeatedly remind the staff that they were waiting for their food and remind the staff what they got. The staff did not know how to look at the receipts and how to get food to the customers. It appeared the girl making food was just whipping up whatever food she wanted to then distributing to customers just hoping they ordered it. No one had any idea what they were doing. I could have walked up and ordered a filet mignon and they would have told me "NO CHICKEN". Again, there were 6 people in store and the stress level did not make sense. Bathrooms are decent. It was busy when we came by. Unfortunately our whole order was messed up. Instead of a hot latte we got a cold iced latte. We ordered the everything bagel bits.. we received plain bagels with garden veggie cream cheese.. the bagels were also cold and hard, the hot chocolate was good, the latte was alright, seemed like it's watered down. read more

Awful service and food! We where there about 11:00 am. There was about 5 employees working and it seemed like no one knew what to do. We waited 20 minutes for our order which consisted of two bagel sandwich meals. They where out of Asiago bagels, which we both wanted. When we finally got our food, the hash browns tasted as if they where sitting there for hours, barley warm. Our bagel sandwiches where also luke warm. Not even toasted, the bagel itself was not even warm. The cheese was barley melted. It tasted awful. No sense of urgency from anyone and there was only two other orders in front of us, which they waited forever too for "fast food". At least our meal could of been hot and what we paid for. The absolute worst. It's 8am with a long drive thru lane and they're out of hash browns again...it's prime time hours for breakfast and they're out of hash browns for the thousandth time. Poorly designed interior to where only a couple people can stand in line at a time before it just gets uncomfortably close and crowded. We were here at a peak time for breakfast and coffee so I understand that it was busy, not a problem. There were so many workers, though, that you would think it would run a bit smoother than it did. It was just disorganized and the person helping us really wasn't that helpful. Aside from that- great coffee and breakfast sandwiches as usual. We asked for dome lids on the coffee, didn't happen. No sleeves on the HOT cups, and the coffee itself is watered down. Get it together.

Please ignore the other review. It may be hard to discern actual reviews from ingredient lists and emotional rant. Tim Horton's is a multinational chain with publicized ingredient lists and menus. You don't need to do "research," it's actually published, public knowledge, and if you walk into a quick-food service place like this expecting holistic, homeopathic, organic, grass-fed cocoa, your expectations in life will often be shattered, and you'll spend more time ranting than enjoying the deliciousness of Tim Bits. We stop into this location often, and it is always clean, well-staffed, and with the prompt, kind, welcoming service that has become synonymous with Tim Horton's. Whether you want donuts/coffee, a quick sandwich, or an ice cream, it's a good (albeit corporate) stop in Gaylord, and a little taste of Canada south of the bridge. Get some Tim Bits while you're there, and take advantage of the free WiFi. Certainly nor gourmet; but superior for what it is. read more

It's a pretty good Tim Hortons as far as they go, but it's laid out poorly so only about 3-4 people can be in line before you're standing outside. Had we been one group later we probably would have left, because I'm not going to wait outside for a bagel if we're being honest. They're pretty nice but not the most efficient as we waited in line for 9 minutes just to order and waited another 6 to get food. The big boy next door was probably faster, and I would have gotten a refill on my coffee. Over all, it's pretty good, I'd go back to this one if I ever felt like going to Gaylord again but I don't feel like that so I won't go back. Another Tim's though for sure. read more

I absolutely love Tim Horton's their food and coffee are always amazing and the service is usually friendly! I go whenever I get a chance! Also, Cold Stone is delicious, but I'm here for the coffee...I always get their Caffe Mocha and double chocolate strawberry donut. This location is pretty decent. Never much of a line and the order is usually correct. Cleanliness is 2.5 stars if I'm honest. But the food/beverages are good, and when you're coming to a fast food chain, can you really expect much? read more

By looking at the other reviews on here combined with my own recent experiences at this specific location I am going to guess that they have had a complete overhaul in management and employees. While I am not a local resident I do frequent this Tim Horton's whenever I am in the area. The health department should watch the cashier people take money and orders then grab the pastry items and make iced coffees. The cashier we had was a male with 2 inches of dirt under each nail. He made the persons ice coffee in front of ice and his nasty finger was in her drink as he stirred . We ordered Tim bits and donuts he had his grubby fingers half on the paper and half on our tim bits the kids wouldn't eat them. Then he put the paper wrapper his dirty fingers were on in our donut bags. How about having your cashiers put gloves on? Totally disgusted. Well, I was forced to give one star (would prefer zero). We walked out of this TH, not once, but twice this weekend. One our way up skiing and on the way back. We had at least 8-10 people in our group both times when we came into the store. Both instances, there were four people working behind the counter - all with headsets. On Friday, no one so much addressed us or even looked our way and we were standing at the counter for more than five minutes. We had pretty much an identical experience just now on the way back (shame on us for giving them a second shot). This time, at least we were completely ignored while getting some eye contact. Thank you for the waste of time TH! We have learned our lesson and will avoid patronizing ever again. read more

Came here on our way down from up north. There were a handful of cars in the drive thru and maybe 6 people in the store. We waited in line for 10 minutes. As we waited a woman came up to the counter stating everything in her bag was wrong. When we finally were able to order everything we tried to order they were out of. They were out of crescents and plain bagels and don't even sell hash browns. It took us 20 minutes to get our order, which we had to remind them about. During this time one of the employees in the back kept yelling "were out of chicken who keeps ordering the chicken?!", one employee was trying to clock out because his shift was over and the lady yelling wouldn't let him. Two of the employees (one I think was the "manager") were wondering aimlessly around in the back. It was not that busy and they seem so frazzled and unorganized. All the customers had to go up to the counter to remind them about their order and everyone was so frustrated. I considered sitting outside to tell people not to go in. When we pestered them about the wait and wanting our food they gave us the wrong order while the lady yelled saying she already gave me the right order (which she didn't). I made sure I saved my receipt (which I had to specifically ask for) which I'm so happy I did because they had no idea what my order was. Their method to handing people their order was to yell out the food they just made instead of using the order numbers that were ON THE RECEIPT anyway. Finally one employee came back from break and he was the only one with any sense and helped us get our order. The best part was when they went to make my everything bacon sandwich they tell me they are out of everything bagels and asked if a plain bagel would be okay...which is what they told us they were out of in the first place. HORRIBLY MANAGED, passive aggressive yelling at employees and customers in a very open setting. Would make a good reality tv show, if you go in there prepared it's going to be a huge disaster, you might enjoy yourself (we've been cracking up in the car for an hour talking about it). read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I have been waiting 45 minutes for a simple bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. Dunkin' Donuts would have had this order done by the time I paid for it. This place is the most unorganized establishment I have ever been to in my life. I have worked in the food business for 10 years and never seen so many problems before in my life. Tried their chicken soup the other day and could not believe how watered down it was. It was so watery it tasted like water. No taste...very disappointed. I love Tim Horton's in general. This one had terrible service. I used the drive through. It was slow- 18 minutes from when I ordered to when I drove away. It wasn't a huge rush time either- 11am. They got my order wrong. To make up for it, they remade my drink in a large instead of a small. And got it wrong again. The donut wasn't the kind I ordered either, so they fixed that. The taste of the donut was good. The coffee was ok - not what I ordered, but not disgusting. I won't be back. read more
