There are tables inside the restaurant and outside of the restaurant. While it was hot outside (in the 90s) the shade and wind made it extremely comfortable to sit outside. The bakery itself was extremely cute and new bakery items were consistently being brought out and restocked. I came with my (extremely picky) mom and she really enjoyed Paris Rendez-Vous. We both got the Ham and Cheese Croissant to stay, it had bechemal sauce inside of the sandwhich adding a nice creaminess. The to stay dish does cost a few dollars more than the to go dish. This is because you are served and also it comes with a light salad with Italian dressing. The salad was a nice addition to the sandwhich, it added the perfect amount of freshness. My mom got an apricot cheese danish to go, and she wishes she would have grabbed 3 more, she is insistent that they are the best vanishes that she has ever had in Arizona...so I would recommend checking that out. Overall it was a nice and quiet brunch spot, that I would definitely classify as a hidden gem in Scottsdale. I recommend checking it out.

Wow! What more needs to be said? This bakery was an absolute delight from start to finish…read more Located in the lobby of an apartment building, the space is beautiful, cozy, and welcoming. As I looked around, I couldn't help but think that if I lived there, I'd probably be stopping in daily. The combination of a bakery and coffee house makes it the perfect neighborhood spot. Although I skipped the coffee this visit--it was mid-afternoon on a Sunday, and I wasn't looking for a caffeine boost--I'll definitely be back to give it a try. For this visit, we focused on the baked goods and sampled four items: the chocolate croissant doughnut, maple croissant doughnut, vanilla doughnut, and a red velvwtcupcake. Every single one was delicious. The croissant doughnuts were wonderfully flaky with just the right amount of sweetness, the vanilla doughnut was soft and flavorful, and the red velvet cupcake was rich and satisfying. It's rare to find a bakery where every item you try is a winner, but this one delivered across the board. Whether you're stopping in for coffee, a sweet treat, or both, this charming bakery is well worth a visit. I'll definitely be back.

Perhaps dining in is a better experience, I can't remember if they warm up the pastry but we took our maple, cheesecake croissant, and cinnamon roll to go. It tasted a day old. The croissant/ bread didn't taste fresh, almost stale. I opted to warm it up a bit, it was a bit better but then it just started feeling too sweet so I wasn't interested anymore. the cinnamon roll breading lacked flavor, but the cream on top was good. But again the bread dough just felt stale. It was a Sunday in the AM that we went. Not busy at all. Since it's a part of an apartment, parking is a little awkward and can feel tight. You could easily not notice the place and mistake it for being closed. It's right off of the round about. (the wind had blew over the open sign and the open sign wasn't lit) Service is okay, nice enough. Not really warm. Seating is ample and is cozy to sit and read or catch up with a friend.

I've tried to make it at home too but it always tastes a bit off; sometimes it is not soft enough, and other times the flavor isn't quite there. One of my friends dropped off this loaf, so freshly baked the loaf was still a little warm and minute beads of condensation were forming on the top of the bread bag. This challah was fantastic. The bread was so tender, the taste rich, and the outside perfectly browned. Thanks to The Challah Factory my toddler is now officially addicted to challah. Sunday 2 years later celebrating a third year birthday party for only 25 people a strawberry fruit cake was ordered . The classic simply decorated cake with fruit created excitement & anticipation for all with after the dinner traditional singing & candle ceremony anchored with the beautiful cake with candles . The strawberry fruit cake was light , delicious , smooth and "perfect"amount of sweetness. I don't know what the cost of large cakes from a local bakery cost but 75$ seemed very reasonable priced for the quality cake produced . Conveniently open on Sunday at 11 am certainly helped the party planning ,thank you As my Grandaughter asked after blowing out her candles , " May I have a slice ?" "Me too ", i said . Ashai still a local gem of a bakery ! N 16th past Bethany home on west side north of Dicks Hideaway. with parking in front .
