I found a leak in my roof during a rainstorm late on Saturday 4/21/2018. I was dreading having to find a roofing company that would respond on the weekend. Sunday morning at 8am I started calling roofing companies in the area based on Google reviews and open hours on Sunday. I had three companies on my list. The first one didn't answer the phone, the second one answered the phone with a not very professional 'hello' and seemed perturbed that I called. This guy said he could have someone here some time on Monday. This was expected but since I had a bucket of water in my attic, I really wanted someone out asap. I called Sugar Land Premier Roofing and talked to Carlos Sr. who was very professional over the phone. He took my information and said he could have someone over in a couple of hours. In about an hour and 45 minutes Carlos Jr. knocks on my door. Carlos Jr. was polite and professional. He took a look at my attic and pulled out a drone to look at the roof since it was wet and safety was a concern. Carlos said he could come back at 8am Monday morning with his guys to get a better look. Carlos Jr. was at my house at 7:45am this morning. In about 15 minutes they found the leak was caused by a few raised nails. They fixed my problem and were on their way. I contracted Sugar Land Premiere Roofing (Lets say SLPR for now) for a small, yet difficult job in the Richmond area. In short SLPR is an excellent choice, and easily earns the "Premiere" within their company name. The things they did well: - Extremely professional, timely, and respectful - Exceptional (really mean it) customer service - Quality of work was very good Things they can improve on: - Pricing strategies for lower tier markets / jobs I believe the salesman strategy was at times uncomfortable given the pricing I was looking for. I was able to negotiate with SLPR, and while negotiation was not a negative experience, it felt like I had to invest a lot of time and effort in reducing the quote to something within my price range. If I had similar quotes from competitors this would be simplified as I would even pay 20% over the average quote price as they truly deliver a premium experience. I will definitely use SLPR again, but if it is a smaller job, I will get multiple quotes before hand. TLDR; If your insurance covers your roof or you want a premium service, hire these guys and they WILL deliver, if you're frugal or have a smaller job, get multiple quotes and be prepared to negotiate. read more

We used Sugar Land Premier Roofing for some roof patching that needed to be done after installing a new water heater. I requested a quote yesterday afternoon and received one within 10 minutes from Carlos, Jr. He asked for a contact number to schedule an appointment and called me about 20 minutes later. He actually was a little early for our appointment this morning, which was a nice surprise. He needed to coordinate with our plumber and get back to me which he did within 30 minutes. We agreed on the price and said he would be out with his crew in one hour to complete the repair. They actually arrived 30 minutes early and completed the repair in about 30 minutes. Carlos, Jr. was extremely professional and polite, in addition to knowing what needed to be done. In fact, after completing the repair, he had his roofer get back up on the roof and do a little additional caulking. I did very extensive research on a lot of roofing companies and met with a few in order to request for a quote to replace my roof. It was 18 years old and we had experienced some leakage. I'm someone who relies a lot on my gut instincts on top of research of course. We love Carlos Jr and his dad Carlos Sr so much. I called this company because I saw a spot on my ceiling and figured I had a roof leak. They came out right away and inspected my roof. Sugar Land Premier Roofing fixed our leaky roof in less than 24 hours! They answered our phone call immediately and came out the next morning and did not charge us for fixing the leaks which was the best customer service that we have experienced. I called them about a leak which developed during the recent rains on a Friday afternoon. Despite heavy rains early in the morning they called 30 minutes before their appointment asking to come by early. They completed the work during a break in the rains. I am not about to give anything less than 5 stars to the gentlemen that came out to my property today. I did not go with this company because although the product is good, I consider it overpriced. I could get a Tesla roof for just 5 grand more. Some other options were offered to me, such as financing and reducing their labor costs by using different materials. I found them to operate like a car dealership. But they were perfect gentlemen, and the company does seem to offer high quality product, so I don't feel right taking any stars away. After finding a few nails and shingles falling off from my roof, I was concerned about the intergrity of the roof and wanted to get it inspected even thought the roof is only four years old.I called other roof companies, they all wanted to charge me for roof inspection. Honestly we didn't call them. They knocked on our door today and asked if they could inspect the roof. They did and told us, and I believe they were honest when they said we didn't need a new roof. He said we had a few issues and it would be under a 2K fix. Told the guy I could meet him later and he agreed. He didn't show - others did.
