I showed up at ten and was told they don't do lunch until eleven, but they do serve breakfast I was informed. The breakfast menu wasn't large but who cares as everything was 100% on point! The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the French toast was awesome! The bacon totally stole the show however, and I could have happily munched on it until I made myself sick but decided I would just come back for more tomorrow. There wasn't anybody else in the place having breakfast, so maybe this is a new thing they are trying out. Either way give them a shot because it was great food, reasonably priced, and a dark pleasant bar to sit and eat at. The manager even checked up on me a couple of times to make sure I was happy and we shot the breeze for a bit.

Fun place for a burger and beer…read more Food in Deadwood is not for gourmands, so save yourself the time and money and go to Mustang Sally's for a straightforward meal. They even have a full bar! This is a sports bar, and they have the cool option to have a half portion of an appetizer instead of fries for a $3 upcharge. My husband was delighted to be able to have fried mushrooms as his side. The kids and husband had milkshakes, and they were made quickly, and everyone loved them. They have a bunch of local beers. I enjoyed my Rapid City made beer and enjoyed a sip of my husband's Spearfish beer. I had a burger, which was perfect. The fries were good. I also had some of my daughter's hot wings. They were meaty and spicy. I loved them, although I wish they had come with celery sticks. Not a big deal, though. The restaurant is decorated with old slot machines, which were fun for the kids to look at while we waited for our food.

His steak was a little fibrous, not a great cut, and certainly not similar to steak frites that I've had in France! I had the recommended red wine, and it was fine. We were seated at a quiet table with a wonderful waiter. My husband and I both ordered the full rack of ribs (which the won awards for). They were delicious and fell off the bone. With the meal you receive a side salad and one side. We chose a baked potato. We took home the remaining ribs for dinner tomorrow.

We had previously stayed here and knew the pizza was pretty darn good. And just what we needed after a day of travel. Our bartender was great! Friendly and attentive!- our pizza was decent- needed to be cooked a little longer - but overall it was still good. We decided to have breakfast here before heading out! It was amazing! For the price the portions were huge. I had the Eggs Benedict- perfectly poached eggs and hollandaise was spot on! My husband had a 3 meat scramble which he loved and couldn't finish. Overall- we would definitely be back.
