Quiet little place right on Main Street in Lead. Walking in you know it's an OLD building. The lady bartender had a fabulous attitude and figuring out we were NOT locals, she made us feel very welcomed. I ordered the Buffalo Snot beer.... Actually very good. We then ordered their version of a Cuban sandwich, which was very tasty. Outstanding actually. The fries were lacking crispness..... the Owner was floating around and we had a discussion about that. She knew and was trying to find how to fix that issue. Overall, a very good meal.

Curry chicken and veggies over rice. Yummy

Must experience Being a 'local' we were aware of the new ownership but had not heard how experiences had been. So we took a chance and our experience was fantastic. The customer service was exceptional and the food was delicious. Try it today.

Awesome food, great historic atmosphere! Bartender seems a little underdressed but is a sweet soul. Go eat drink and enjoy.

We stopped for a couple drinks and lunch. Very friendly and we enjoyed the food. Awesome old time feel of the restaurant.

Food was so good. Had the Linguine Nest, cheeseburger sliders, and chicken strips basket. Attentive server. Would recommend this restaurant.

Solid food. Good people. Had steaks and they were good. Only issue was the "deep fried steak tips" were pieces of sirloin steak pan fried.

Mind you, it's not the same location where Wild Bill Hickock was killed (that's across the street at the Old Saloon No 10). We arrived without reservations (they are on Open Table). We were informed that only one waitress was working the whole restaurant but that there were plenty of tables. Thankfully, there were only 4 other tables with customers, so we took our chances. They have a kids menu and quite the list of mocktails. The kids were in heaven and would have happily returned every day for dinner. I had the bison tortelloni. It was a bison steak with cheese tortelloni. It was fine but not remarkable. My husband had the steak frites. His steak was a little fibrous, not a great cut, and certainly not similar to steak frites that I've had in France! I had the recommended red wine, and it was fine. My husband had a local IPA, and he really enjoyed it. Our waitress was very nice and managed the restaurant well for being the only one there. The kids loved their mocktails and liked being able to walk around. Mind you, a lot of pictures are of the historic brothel prostitutes, but they were covered up enough, and thankfully, no one asked me any difficult questions!

The ambiance in this place is so gorgeous. Okay so the important part is the good!! I ordered the wedge salad with their green goddess dressing. It was THE BEST I HAVE EVER EATEN. I ordered the lobster tail with augrotten potatoes First the potatoes could use some seasoning but they were good not over cooked or anything. I always confuse gotten with scalloped. I thought it was the same but I guess they aren't. These were good. The star is the lobster tail. It was nice size larger than the 6-8 ounces. Cooked perfectly seasoned perfectly. Tasted divine in hot clarified butter. It also was served with green beans which I really don't like but these were very good The house white wine was delicious and the server was great. My husband order the shrimp breaded with a baked potato and garden salad with French dressing. The shrimp were hand breaded in panko not a lot of breading but enough to give a nice crunch. I was looking for ward to breakfast here but we didn't try it this trip. He also drank a draft beer and said it was good. The service was excellent. The waiter was kind CLEAN AND ATTENTIVE The decor is gorgeous and historic but pleasing to the eye. The restaurant was spotless clean. They served fresh hot sourdough bread on the table and I would drive the 6 hours just for that. I can't wait to go back

They even have a full bar! This is a sports bar, and they have the cool option to have a half portion of an appetizer instead of fries for a $3 upcharge. My husband was delighted to be able to have fried mushrooms as his side. The kids and husband had milkshakes, and they were made quickly, and everyone loved them. They have a bunch of local beers. I enjoyed my Rapid City made beer and enjoyed a sip of my husband's Spearfish beer. I had a burger, which was perfect. The fries were good. I also had some of my daughter's hot wings. They were meaty and spicy. I loved them, although I wish they had come with celery sticks. Not a big deal, though.
