    Gender reveal cake

Sugar Shaker Bakery did an amazing job making our gender reveal cake! Everyone at our gender reveal party loved the cake. It turned out so pretty!

    Just the cutest!

Been here a couple of time including ordering a custom cake. Ordering the cake was easy and they were able to squeeze me in a week in advance. It was a non voyage cake for my friend moving to France so I wanted it classy and cute with a plane going from Austin to France but I also thought it'd be funny to add "you're dead to us". I explained it and they were able to add it without taking away from the elegance of it. The cake looked pretty but even better, everyone raves about it so much because 1. Cute design but more importantly 2. The cake was gluten and dairy free and you would have never known! It was delicious! The very next day I went to a kids party that had a cake ordered from here too and it was not GF/DF and tasted just the same! I did not feel gross or heavy afterwards at all; it was light and airy and filling! This is now my go to place for cute and healthy cake!

Amazing! I asked a few days in advance for custom cookies for my son's production of Annie. I had no idea that it was very late to ask. But Sugar Shaker went above and beyond my expectations. I pulled a few images from the internet and told them to do their best and it was amazing. I will definitely use them again!

All I can say is that they always deliver! Beautiful and amazing Cakes! Very friendly people and the communication was always on point. This is my second time ordering custom cakes from them and I'm always amazed how it turned out! Much more beautiful than the inspiration photos. Thank you Sugarshakebakery Team! My Barbie party and my son's Dinosaur party made it perfect with your beautiful cakes!!! Thank you! I am a forever customer! Abby

This review is way overdue! I was having a hard time finding a bakery for my custom cakes. I used a different bakery for quite some time that went downhill after new management took over. At the time, all custom bakeries seemed to be overwhelmed and booked for months in advance. I couldn't get a cake ordered anywhere! Then someone recommended I give Sugar Shaker a call. Let me tell you, I am so glad I reached out. They have done 4 cakes for me in the past 10 months and ALL of them have turned out superb! The artwork and flavors are excellent. Not to mention, they are some of the friendliest ladies you will meet. And, if for some reason, something is slightly off with your cake, they will remedy it on the spot. They will also work with you on your budget to give you the kind of cake you want without breaking the bank! For example, I was able to get the size and tiered cakes I wanted by doing buttercream vs fondant. I will continue to use them for all my cake needs. I definitely recommend them if your north. They are in Cedar Park and worth the drive for a beautiful and delicious cake!!

Amazing art work! Cake taste even better! 100% coming back! You won't regret it! Go ahead and place your order now!!!

This was our first time using this bakery, and we are beyond impressed with the 3D Cars Cake. It was delicious, looked exquisite and reasonably priced. Couldn't be happier!

Sugar Shaker did an amazing 1st birthday cake for my son! I sent over a sample image and they were able to create something very unique and appropriate based on the picture. Couldn't be happier with the design! Perhaps it was the options we chose but the cake was a tad dry - but would definitely go with them again for a big event with lots of photos.

Sugar Shaker Bakery never disappoints us! Their cakes are beautiful and delicious. They understood our vision for our wedding cake and delivered to perfection. A year later I had them make my husband's 40th birthday cake. We received so many compliments and they were both amazing!!

Got so many compliments about this unicorn themed cake. My daughter absolutely loved it! I had trouble keeping the kids away as they all tried to touch it. Taste itself is a bit on the sweet side. Wish they could've made it with less sugar, but overall, this cake was hit.

    Vegan 6" Round Cake

BEST VEGAN CAKE EVER! Amazing all around service! Sugar Shaker was incredible with their work and exceeded expectations! Super sweet and cute storefront here in Cedar Park, Texas! Cannot wait to request orders for future celebrations!

It's ok. Not sure how the price compares for cakes this size. This one pictured was about $170. Top layer was chocolate and bottom layer was vanilla. Cake looked pretty. I didn't order the cake a friend did for my my wife's bday/baby shower. So I cannot comment on the ordering process. I did pay for it and pick it up. The cake itself was alright. It was good, but I've had better and worse too. Our party was on a Sunday and there is no ability to pickup on a Sunday. So we had to pick up on a Saturday. I was wanting to pick up early, but you are bound by their times. I was wanting 8 am, but had to do 9:30. Staff didn't seem overly friendly and when leaving, you would think they would offer to least open the door for you on the way out after buying an expensive cake, but nope. Thought that was kinda crappy. I didn't ask for help, but they just brought the cake up and had the attitude of "be on your way". Anyway, cake looked really nice...

I also took a risk on a nest shaped pastry filled with lemon filling, and I think it was my favorite of them all! They have tables where you can eat your treats there, and wash your hands afterwards, which is important because there's almost no way to do it without getting sticky fingers. I ate two pieces there, and saved two more for the evening, which was a lot for one day, but it was sure a treat!

We kept it simple -- fish cone with nutella and ube soft serve. We had the option of swirling it with a milk tea ice cream but it had a little bit of caffeine so no good. Glad the choice was made for us -- the ube was perfect on its own. Also happy we skipped the toppings since the creaminess really came through. They sell mochi donuts too -- they were pretty good but not as good as the ice cream. Parking is limited but we had no issue snagging a spot at 430pm on a Sunday. Just to be clear, I AM somewhat of a subject matter expert. I have eaten all manner of fried dough creations from coast to coast, including Hawaii, and I have a lot to say on the topic. My favorite is still Cider Belly in Albany, NY, but I digress. The PB&J donut here is one of the best things I have ever eaten. I dragged it out for 3 days. Even semi-stale, and reheated in the microwave, it was still delicious. I put a scoop of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream on it which definitely helped. I also ordered a Heavenly Hash (one of my favorite ice cream flavors BTW) and a Naughty and Nice because I am all about the classics. They were both outstanding. No leftovers. When we went our choices were $9-$10 donut base desserts. I say base because the toppings cover up the donut visually. Despite that, there's no covering that scrumptious taste and texture. Wowaweea. Yes, you feel your cells expand and pants tighten and it is for sure run club pre and post, but quite worth it. These divine donuts have that cakey interior I love so much. We had the Puddin': cream cheese icing, vanilla pudding, fresh bananas with nilla wafers. According to the menu. Ours didn't have any nilla wafers and the presentation was uneven, hence the four stars. I didn't miss the wafers. The icing and pudding were one goopy topping and the bananas slices were half scattered slices and half banana chunk that I had to separate. Side notes: Gourdough sits on a corner with parking spots that are not free. There's a pay via QR code so you'll need a phone or something to scan that. Boo for digital shackles. Next note- I feel like this is a low key meet up spot. Like the way they tried to make the first train cars on the MTA the singles car? There was a series of singles getting doughnuts and they were a little done up for the occasion. Who knows. With the little IG ready love seats and doughnuts made for sharing, you could walk away with extra sugar.

What looked like a traditional milk toast dessert, was literally four pieces of stale bread, toasted and stacked on top of each other. that tasted freezer burnt with lots of sauce on top. No topping between each layer so it was not flavorful or tasty and all you could taste was a weird chemical flavor from the bread. Same thing with the ice cream, so freezer burnt that it tasted of chemicals, cardboard, and didn't even melt despite sitting on the plate for 15+ minutes. The Taro tea itself was fine with the crème brûlée topping, but the brown sugar Boba had the same chemical "going bad" flavor to it. It was super hard and bitter tasting instead of sweet. The soufflé pancakes were fine, but the ice cream was terrible on that too. It's hard to mess up Ice Cream, but somehow they managed.
