I tried one a couple of months ago at another Sugar Shane's location and wanted it again. Instead I ordered the Dubai brownie. I also ordered a Lemon Breeze, and it was to die for. I had to make a second trip to buy another Lemon Breeze for my daughter and myself. This will be my new favorite spot for my sweet treats. We got a half dozen to share between 4 people and we were all very impressed. The red velvet and double shot (espresso) were so delicious and I highly recommend those. I went there for the ice cream. We ate at an Italian restaurant across the street and afterwards we wanted a dessert and I didn't like their menu so I looked on yelp and it said that there was ice cream at this place directly across the street so we went there for the ice cream. The young lady who waiting on us said they haven't had ice cream in a year. They've told yelp 15 times to take it off, but y'all doesn't do it so we had a chocolate chip cookie which she gave us because we came for ice cream and they didn't have. It was very kind of her. I was starving one Saturday and was looking for somewhere to eat in the Perimeter area that wasn't within the Permeter Mall area. I enjoyed a meal at Local Expedition and was walking to my car when I noticed this bakery (and I am so glad I walked in). The bakery is small and narrow; however, you are transported to an eclectic, vibrant world with graffiti murals and abstract art. The staff is equally as friendly and knowledgeable about the different offerings. Sugar Shane's features signature and rotating flavors of cookies such as crumb cake, banana bread, and the Betty White (chunks of Golden Oreos, creamy cookies 'n cream bars, and smooth white chocolate chips). They also have a selection of brownies, cakes, and Rice Krispy treats. Sugar Shane's offers a "sweet tooth" special on Wednesday--four cookies for $20. We experienced the: Chocolate Chip (chopped dark chocolate, dark chocolate disks, semi-sweet chips, topped with sea salt) Cookies & Cream (vanilla base and stuffed with white chocolate chips, oreos, and cookies & cream bar pieces) Spooky S'mores (graham cracker base, milk chocolate chips, marshmallow) Morning After (Brown Sugar Cookie Base Rolled in Cinnamon Crumble Topping) I fell in love with the first bite of Cookies & Cream, and the love affair continued as I sampled each of the cookies. When I got home, my husband popped the cookies in the microwave, placed them back in the box, and disappeared (I never saw the cookies again). Even the humble chocolate chip cookie was elevated with the touches of sea salt. The cookies are not cheap, but the price is well worth the gooeyness, richness, and buttery flavors. I love Sugar Shane's and recently visited their Sandy Springs location for a Yelp event. This spot used to be a regular for me when I lived in the area. The location itself is small, but decorated well. Upon arrival, I was greeted and enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie and a piece of cake. I also ordered a serving of vanilla ice cream, which, while delicious, felt a bit overpriced at around six dollars for small scoops. The highlight was definitely the chocolate chip cookie--it was perfectly gooey in the middle and crisp on the edges. I savored the cake the next day, and it was wonderfully soft and tasty. Cool shop located in a prime spot in Sandy Springs. The employee greeted me with a smiling face and patiently waited for me to pick my pastry. I went with the banana bread and chocolate chip cookie. Banana bread was a huge slice (Good for 2 people) filled with yummy chocolate chips and drizzled with chocolate sauce. And the chocolate chip cookie melted in my mouth. Only reason for 4 stars is the lack of convenient parking spots. All I could see was a private parking lot with warning signs saying towing or impounding everywhere, so the whole experience of parking for even 10-15 minutes was extremely scary. I suggest that you order online, just to make sure that it'll be there at the appropriate time. I'm sure you could just walk in but they suggest you order online so do so. No I will say about the ordering, it was very great customer service and very personable because they even wrote my name on a box and a thank you when I pick my order up! Doing that every time, that means you're really care I assume! I can appreciate that. It's preferable to park on the inside so basically you have to go around the building on the other side as a parking structure for you. It's labeled so you don't have to worry about missing it. You just walk through the hallway to whatever store you want, which is going to be the cookie spot! If you keep walking it's going to take you all the way around to your facing me Einstein Brothers bagels and then you just basically hang a right! Or you can walk outside, that's also an option. But if it's raining or something along those lines, you want to stay inside as long as possible. The chocolate chip - this was really good, sweet salty and very chocolatey and when you put it in the microwave it went off! The cookies and cream - this one was okay. I wasn't really sure about the cream part but the cookies was really good. Would I get it again, I might not, but regardless of that, it still had a really good and savory and chewy taste to it. Again, and the microwave it's amazing! The m&m cookie - this one was the winner. It looks a little different as a big ball of dough, but one side is cookie and one side is chocolate cookie and it has m&Ms up and throughout it. It was a hit to me. I came here to take advantage of Yelp's July 2023 deal for 2 chocolate chip cookies for $4.04. Parking is super easy with a deck next door and it's just a pickup location. When we entered on Sunday, the employee at the counter did a great job telling us about each of the flavors! We didn't try any others but the classic chocolate chip cookies, but all the stuffed cookies looked SO delicious and I want to go back to try!! Don't bother ordering online in the morning to "reserve" anything. I ordered items at 11:30 AM so that certain items didn't sell out before we got there. Set pickup time for 2 PM. Got there at 3 only to discover that they hadn't set aside anything. They started filling the box when we got there. One of the items we wanted two of (Dubai chocolate cookies) only had one remaining and had to be replaced with something else. I ordered the items at 11:30 so that the box would be set aside. I am about to make a bold, true statement: Sugar Shane's has the best cookies in Atlanta! My boyfriend and I have been enjoying Sugar Shane's for a while. Usually, we either order via UberEats, or we go to the 14th St location closest to my home. Yesterday, we happened to be near this location in Sandy Springs, so we stopped in. The staff was so sweet to us and welcoming, and the shop was clean and quaint. It was a tough choice since everything looked and sounded great, but we finally decided on 3 we hadn't tried before: Late Night Oreo, Carrot Cake, and Chocolate Walnut. They've updated their to-go boxes + bags, which are super cute. We took the cookies home, warmed them in my air fryer per the box instructions, and shared them with my mom. The vibe on this is weird. It's a really tiny shop and the staff didn't seem too happy to see us in there especially when we had questions because we thought the menu on the front of the store was the menu. It's not... Or it's out of date? One of the employees told us to use the QR menu but most of the pictures didn't look like the cookies on display so that was confusing. Like, a funfetti one in the pic was off white/yellow (like sugar cookie) but the one on display was hot pink so we basically had to ask what each one on display was & we picked the s'mores and banana pudding ones $6/ea We didn't want the cookies right away so they gave us a box with reheating instructions on it to take with us. We had the cookies the next day & they're good! They are sooooo rich though so prepare your water or milk or whatever because you'll need it. At $6, though, I definitely won't be getting them often especially when crumbl is so close by and cheaper and bigger cookies and easier to order but I'm really glad we tried it out! My first time at Sugar Shane was a great experience! I am a cookie lover but never seen a cookie like this. I purchased smores (not pictured) and Bulldog (pictured). I bought a betty white (not pictured) for my friend and the worker gave her a free cookie for her birthday. That was so nice of them. From the packaging to the taste im in love. I love to heat these in the airfryer because it gives it a hard but soft satisfying taste and the shape doesnt even change. If you are looking for a mega sized cookie, that is delicious and almost as big as a slice of cake, this is a place. Sugar Shane's has some of the best cookies I've ever had. The cookies are so large that the center of each cookie can remain a little on the underdone side and super gooey. My personal favorite is their cookies and cream cookie, closely followed by the s'mores cookie. The inside doesn't look like a typical bakery but in this case, looks don't matter. The staff member covering the front (I think her name was Danielle but don't quote me) was super nice and took the time to run down the ingredients in every cookie they had. Now, I had to take the one star off simply because almost every cookie, with the exception of 1 or 2, has white chocolate in it and I'm not a fan. This place clearly loves it if they added it every cookie. Regardless, every cookie I had was amazing. My favorite was the Nana's puddin. I came to this cookie joint as part of the Yelp "What's the 404?" event. It is a small intimate shop that does not have any indoor seating so is a more grab and go kind of setting. The woman at the front desk was quick and polite to fulfill my order asking if I wanted them to be heated up. After a thorough explanation, I walked away with 3 different flavors. I know the chocolate chip is their top seller and it's great.
