But now I have finally had the opportunity, and it was definitely worth it! Typically parked next to the old Hollander's Hydraulics building, this taco stand has been operating in the parking lot for the past month, and appears to be doing quite well. They now have their own porta-potty, mostly for themselves but I would assume guests would be able to use it as well if needed. Access from both sides of the road is easy enough as well as there is a cross-over of 441 right at the entrance to the parking lot. Their menu has all the regular things you would expect with a variety of meats... tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, and tostadas. I went with an order of tacos and a burrito. Now, I have found that tacos have become a bit over-hyped, and therefore expensive for what you get. This was the case as well... while the tacos are good, I just found them to be a bit pricey for what you get. You definitely get a better bang for the buck when it comes to the burrito, and I was quite happy with it. When it comes to ambiance, well... it is a taco truck on the side of the road. There is plenty of parking, but nowhere to sit, so this is purely a grab and go kind of place for the time being. Perhaps as they become more established in the location they will have a chance to put out some picnic tables or something so people can sit outside and eat their meals. I will be returning when the timing is right, as it is on the way home for me!

The correct address from Google Maps is the same street number, 15070 US-301, but in Starke, which is 11 miles north of the Waldo address. We arrived around 3:30 on a Saturday, aware that their listed closing time is 5:30, but willing to give it a try. There were quite a few meats and sides scratched off the board - it's necessary to plan a day's cook conservatively so there is less waste at the end of each day. It can't be easy to put so many choices on the board with the tight margins restaurants work with. But there were still several things I wanted to try. I got a 2 meat platter with lamb chops and sliced pork with green beans and brussel sprouts for sides. The wife got a pulled pork sandwich and waffle fries. The soda machines were all out, but the teas and lemonades were just fine for us. The portions were really generous. And the meats were all really good. Lamb chops (3) were fork tender. Pork slices (4) needed a knife, but I was expecting that. Her sandwich was easily 1/3 to 1/2 lb of meat. Really tasty. And the sides - green beans were well done and flavorful - southern style obviously. The brussel sprouts were very nicely crisped with a sweet dressing on them. Really good. And the fries were properly GBD. Two sauces - a pretty sweet mustard sauce and a tangy red - maybe half way between Kansas sweet and Carolina vinegar. Both really good, but none of the meats really required sauce. Looking at other reviews it seems they change up the menu pretty often. But I'd definitely stop back in, maybe earlier in the day, to see how the brisket tastes. Or just to see what the choices are for that day. Everything we tried was great, so I'd be willing to try whatever else they offer.

The staff behind the counter kept things moving and still took time to answer questions about the different meats. The brisket was tender with a good smoky flavor that didn't need much sauce. The meat plate came with generous portions, and everything tasted freshly made instead of sitting around too long. Food came out faster than expected considering how many people were there around lunch. The whole place had a laid back small town feel where everyone seemed comfortable hanging around for a while after eating.

I'm a non-native and I feel like I'm the last person in Gainesville to find out about this place…read more I've noticed they have quite a few regulars and they stay busy for a reason! Everything that I've ordered from Xclusive Eatz has been phenomenal. Every time we order food I end up cleaning my plate. It reminds me of a home cooked meal. Here's what we've tried from the menu: -Wings (x10) -Mac and cheese (the best I've had in Gainesville, hands down) -Potato salad -Baked beans -Green beans -Garlic potatoes -Fried okra -Sweet potato pound cake (AMAZING!) -Cream cheese pound cake Customer service: I've been here about 5 times now, and the cashier is always pleasant. This looks like a family-owned business and the two women serving the food are friendly, even when I get to asking my questions about the specials and when they're going to bring back the sweet potato pound cake. (Lol) My order always comes out correct and they provide napkins and cutlery without fail. The food is full of flavor and the portions don't miss. Parking: They have a private parking lot with plenty of spots, but it does fill up fast. I've noticed that people are constantly coming and going, so usually when I arrive there's one or two people leaving so it's easy to find a spot. We love this place and highly recommend stopping by! It's absolutely worth the drive.

Quite the hoot he is. They offer a fair assortment of Italian meals and I gorged myself on fried kale florentine ravioli. It seemed more of a small plate but it was good. I had a really good Smoked Pork Parmesan Pannini (with 3 n's) from Bubba Luigi's Road Trip…read more A Panini can be really tricky to pull off well. If the bread is not just right it can be too hard when grilled, and it tears up the roof of your mouth. I hate that. This one was perfect. The bread was soft yet grilled, flavorful, not too thick, and complemented the smoked Pork. The pork was a wee bit dry, but the sandwich was not. The Parmesan was fresh and good, but did not complement the smoked pork as well as I would like. Still, I love the effort. Overall, I thought the sandwich was excellent! I was very impressed! I was also impressed with the slaw. It was fresh, crisp, very little if any mayo, great flavor and, it complemented the sandwich perfectly! I regret not engaging with Luigi and his family about food. They were very nice, and wanted to talk, but the location was Swamp Head Brewery, and my husband is very uncomfortable at Swamp Head. He is like a cat at the beach, staying very low to the ground, watching everyone wide-eyed, and ready to run at the first sign of trouble. He was not his normal engaging self, and we missed out on talking food with a family that clearly loves food, thinking and creating, and trying to grow and figure out the complex world of making people happy with food. I wish we could have stopped and talked. Luigi loves food and it shows in his creativity and effort. I will find him again in another location so that we can talk food. I want to try a bigger assortment of what he is cooking up. I am excited for Luigi and his business. And, I think everyone who loves food and food trucks should give Luigi a try and then write about it on Yelp!!
