After reading the "good" reviews and the "15 years experience in the US", I decided to try this place out and booked a 90-minute Thai massage. The facilities and room were okay. I was about to use the toilet but saw that there was a wad of crumpled toilet paper stuck inside the cardboard of the toilet paper roll (it wasn't on any toilet paper roll holder), so I didn't touch the toilet paper. I was expecting a full-body Thai massage but it was an utterly incomplete one. It certainly wasn't a "Thai" massage at all. For the first 30 minutes, she only focused on my back, not even massaging it but just pressing points that were painful on my bones. I had to ask her when she'd actually start massaging and this annoyed her. I've had a lot of Thai massgaes and clearly, this one wasn't even close to a real Thai massage. She barely worked on my arms and legs. And the way she maneuvered my head as well as my body (to supposedly "stretch" me) was done in an incorrect way that it was uncomfortable - I was quietly scared I might get an injury. I felt duped and was disappointed upon realizing that I overpaid for something that was totally bogus. read more

I'm a nurse and in school as well and I've been having a lot of issues with my neck and shoulders due to tension and stress. I've been trying to go to her more often or at least once a month. I love that she uses the bars and steps on my back. I also love that she uses her elbows and does deep pressure points. I came here for my first Thai massage and it was very therapeutic. It was a very firm deep tissue massage and was surprised that it was with the hand rails. The therapist walks on your back slowly with firm pressure pushing down on my troubled muscle areas. I know my body is very beat up and didn't realize it until trigger spots were pushed. It was pretty intense and a bit painful. However it was needed because my upper body was much looser and I felt floaty after. I was a bit sore but not too tired the next day. I would like to try the combo deep tissue and Swedish massage next time. This is great place to to go to if you need a therapeutic trigger like therapy massage. The location is inside Serenity. I woke up today with a lot of back pain and soreness so I knew I had to find a massage therapist quick! Although I do have a regular massage therapy location I typically book with, I wanted to see what other places were available in my immediate area. That's when I came across Sugar Thai Massage on Yelp. The first thing I did was read the reviews and at the time, there was only one but from that one single review-- I was sold. It was a pretty recent review too so that made me even more interested in check Sugar Thai Massage out. I checked out their website and saw that they had amazing deals on Thai massage. If you have never had Thai massage before, it's important to know that someone will likely be walking on your back for a good portion of your session. I've had Thai massage before and typically, for one hour, I pay anywhere between $100-$150. There was a special deal because Sugar Thai Massage is new and because of Halloween so for 1 hour it was only $75! What an amazing deal! I called Sugar Thai Massage and spoke to who? You guessed it, Sugar! She was so sweet and accommodating. She answered my questions and asked me to complete my same-day booking online. I went back to the website and booking a same-day appointment was a breeze! Super easy and quick to do. I actually called her back a few moments after thinking I entered my phone number incorrectly and Sugar answered knowing that I would be calling back. She sounded just as excited as I did. As my appointment time approached, I drove over and quickly found the plaza and the business. There was a lot of parking too. Because they're so new, you might have some trouble finding the them in the plaza. Right now, the old signage for the previous business is still up. My advice: they're at D4 so look at the doors and you won't miss it! Once I got in, I was well received by Sugar. She greeted me warmly and showed me where I would be receiving my treatment. It was clean, fresh and honestly, everything looks so new! I got undressed and laid on the clean, pristine sheets. Sugar got to work right away, wasting no time out of the 1 hour session I booked. She started off by walking on my back... it was incredible. She knew my pressure points right away and made sure to apply just the right amount of pressure to them. After, she started to go into deep tissue massage with warm oils and hot stones. I started to drift off and felt all my tension release. She took great care with each part of my body, making sure I stay covered wherever she wasn't working. She handled me with good attention and intention. Before the end of our session, Sugar spent the last 15 mins by walking on my back again. It was the cherry on top of an amazing experience. Because of her previous work, my back was loose so once she started her walking, my back started to crack in all the right places! Exactly what I wanted and needed. Once we were done, Sugar left the room and prepared me a warm cup of water in a clean break room. We chatted for a bit and had a pleasant conversation. I know this was a long review but honestly, I'm so impressed and thankful. I will definitely coming back. Please book your first visit soon! I was expecting full body massage like what was mentioned on the website when I booked. When I arrived, I mentioned that I would like a Swedish style massage. Sugar only focused on my back with elbow pressure points. I've had both a Thai and Swedish massage before and this didn't feel like either style.
