My first session was primarily to find out my trigger points and stressed areas which she honed into quickly. One of the big tells when determining how in-tune therapists are with clients is the ability to tell which areas need the most work. I can't believe I haven't gone to this hidden gem before in American Canyon. I was in search of a pre-prenatal massage and found Sync - in Wellness . Suzannah has easy scheduling online but also responds to text. My massage was wonderful. She has a nice pillow where my belly and chest have space. I've had prenatal massages before where I've had to lay on my side and it was not comfortable. Here, I was able to lay on my belly as she worked on my back and that hips, and when it was time to lay on my back, she had a wedge pillow so that I was at an incline, so it is safer for the baby. I will definitely be going here till the end of my pregnancy and postpartum as well read more

I have a personal massage therapist but once a while I would venture out to see someone else. Every massage therapists have their unique approach and because I heard such great things about Suzie I decided to give her a try. And like my personal massage therapist she is amazing. I live in San Leandro so it was quite a drive but was very much worth the trip. Her blend of technique skill sets and wonderful sweet energy made the session relaxing and tranquil. Suzannah is the absolute best! She really listens to your needs and is in tune with your body to give you the best massage that your body needs and craves; not just something that feels good. You know those other masseuse that ask you what's bothering you but they do the same exact, predictable routine probably set to the same music? Well, she is not that kind! If you tell her your neck is kinked because you slept wrong, she'll massage all those knots out. If you say you've been clenching your jaw from stress, she'll add that in. If you say a joint is bothering you she'll adjust to focus on there. If you tell her your calves are sore and sensitive from jump roping, she'll go easy on them. While you're on the table, you know exactly when she found something because she pauses there to work it out. Sometimes I didn't even know there was a knot there until she discovers it. If needed, she also adds a theragun, aromatherapy, hot stones, and even cupping! She is amazing! Not only is she skilled and talented in her craft, she is the sweetest person you could ever meet. That's a hard find; someone who is top notch at what they do and very thoughtful, personable, and even takes part on a little joke when asked. Let me start this off with just saying I've had a lot of different experiences with massages. I have been getting them for years through both of my pregnancies, I've had a back injury in the past (broke my back) so I am kinda (putting it lightly) picky. I had given up on finding a good massause since my regular one moved away a fee years ago. I've gone to several places since that are local, on vacations and even on a cruise and let me tell you, I was never impressed. I was talking to a friend about needing a massage and she told me I should go visit Suzannah/Sync-in Body Works and I was NOT let down! I was super impressed with her knowledge of the body and its stress points. She was super accommodating, kind and made me feel comfortable (which is huge in this industry-as, let's face it, were getting partially if not completely naked with nothing but a blanket or sheet covering). She was very attentive and asked for guidance so that she made sure not to apply too much pressure near my surgical sites and definitely applied good pressure to those areas that for better or worse needed firmer pressure and to be worked well. I left there feeling like a brand new human-lol. I just HATE it when you pay good money for a massage and walk out feeling tense and like you weren't worked on. I have been to see her twice now and would ABSOLUTELY recommend to anyone.
