We met in a coffee shop in Capitola and she brought an assortment of samples including but not limited to; red velvet, limoncello, chocolate with caramel cream, passion fruit, something with raspberry and there may have been one more. They were awesome! Before meeting veronica I had been on at least 3 cake tastings but none of them even compared to hers! The Lemoncello was wonderful. Soaked lemon cake with a lemon filling, yum. The red velvet was moist and rich and perfect. The chocolate wasn't overly sweet, and was full of flavor and it was the perfect texture. A few bites in and my mind was made up. During the tasting she was friendly and easy to work with. I knew Veronica was a perfect fit. She could make my cake x10 with the pictures she showed us she could make far more intricate cakes than I was requesting.The cake fed just over 100 people. I paid around $700 for the cake, the cake stand rental, flower placement and delivery ($100 since my venue was about an hour away). Day of I didn't get a chance to see Veronica but she worked with my Mom and my Mom said she was prompt, easy to work with and very friendly. Overall easy to work with, delicious and beautiful wedding cake at a reasonable price. =) Thanks Veronica for making my wedding day taste and look great!

A very sweet lady called me back and assured me that they would do their best to honor my request (I had mentioned in my voice mail message to them that shipping from CA to WA isn't always totally predictable, so I had asked them to please simply do their best to honor my request). The cupcakes arrived today - yay! The cupcakes all arrived in excellent condition, they were packed well, and they tasted very fresh and delicious. The frosting was so interesting, I think it is primarily made up of marshmallow? It tasted really good, and it was lighter than typical cupcake frosting, which I liked. I ordered a pack of 6 chocolate cupcakes, 3 with chocolate frosting (my husband's favorite), and 3 with white frosting (my favorite). My husband liked his cupcake. He said that he would not have been able to tell that his cupcake was gluten-free if I hadn't told him that it was. I appreciate that this company lists all of the ingredients in their cupcakes on their website, for people like me who have multiple food allergies. I would definitely order from this company again. Creations in a variety of delectable flavors. I got the chocolate peanut butter and brown butter nutella. Sticky and dense, it had the consistency of raw cookie dough and was just as rich in taste. Perfect if you're in the mood for a brownie, as that's what the chocolate flavors are reminiscent of. I enjoyed the brown butter cookie too, though it was a bit salty on top. Altogether the cookies are on the sweet side, a little too sweet for my taste. But Cracked Cookies definitely provides a unique product, and it was strangely more delicious as leftovers.
