I came in for lunch and the gal who greeted me was very nice and so was the man cooking up all the meals. Real rustic small town feel and the food was yummy and came out nice and quick. Looking forward to coming here again.

Came into town to look at the lodge near by, they are cash only! Regardless the same man sat us, took our order and made our food his service was so quick and he was amazing. I really enjoyed my breakfast and the people I was with too also enjoyed the breakfast they received! There was one man when we walked in but other than that we were the only ones so we got to choose our own table. It was a nice small town spot, definitely coming back when I return.

Service was excellent, the food and portions were great. Very mellow spot to eat in the morning. We will be back

Chicken pesto sandwich with a side of home fries - delicious!

Deliciousness! As we walked up, a woman was coming out of the restaurant and said, "oh the food is so good here!" She was right! The owner is so nice too. The hubby and I split a chicken pesto sandwich with a side of home fries. Everything was freshly prepared, including the pesto, and came out pretty quickly off the grill. They even split it for us, which was kind of them. Apparently they have a great breakfast too, so we're coming back in the morning for that.

Ask the Community - Bella’s Cafe

Have they closed permanently? I've tried to go at 12:30 a couple times, and it has been closed, with the lights out and no note on the door. Most of the flyers in the window are for events that happened a month ago.

Which days are you open? We went there yesterday and it was closed..... we followed the hours that you have available here on yelp

That's odd. Was there a sign on the door explaining the closure? They have very few employees so if someone was sick it might have affected their open times.

I was delighted that they had gluten free pastries and a house-made gluten free bread! My sister enjoyed a strawberry-blackberry brioche tart, while I ordered the mango mochi bite (gf) and a chocolate mochi donut (gf). My favorite was the mango bite, which had a delicious burst of fruity mango flavor. The chocolate donut was a very rich, chocolate-y flavor and also excellent, but the texture was not as nice as the mochi bite. The strawberry-blackberry tart was also delicious, per my sister's feedback. The avocado toast was good, but my favorite was definitely the mango mochi bite. As for the drinks, my matcha was with a house made rose syrup and my sister said her chai was very peppery and delicious--her favorite chai on our trip so far! Wish we'd had a larger size but not sure if they offer them. When I'd ordered, I wasn't asked about sizes and didn't even think to ask for a large. Parking in front is a bit limited, but they have plenty of interior seating and even a little outdoor seating area. All in all, I'd absolutely come here again if I ever find myself in the area. Highly recommend, especially if you are gluten free! They even asked if it was allergy or preference, which makes me feel more confident eating here as someone with celiac disease.

Their creamy polenta with roasted vegetables (chard,…read morebroccolini, squash, onion), pesto (add a side of bacon) all-day biscuit sandwich, and breakfasts are tasty. The salads and veggie bowls are solid. I like their baked goods, particularly the raspberry and cream cheese brioche or the bite-sized passionfruit mochi, which is packed with flavor and garnished with delicate flowers. Interesting drinks in their beverage fridge, retro wallpaper, fun merchandise, and a quirky, small open air backyard are all pluses. Friendly and helpful staff. Just wish that their breakfast ran later (ends at 11 am) and that the line moved a little faster.

Our lattes were made with such care, and a staff member even brought out extra bruschetta board toppings from an order she had for free. The sitting areas are perfect for catching up with a friend or doing some work, and the outside patio is large and stunning. The eclectic duck decor added a nice touch to an already beautiful space with high ceilings. There is a play area for children, and a lot of bikers come around on their bike stops. Parking is in the lot behind Cruise, and there was plenty of parking on a Saturday afternoon. I did not see any outlets for charging laptops. Overall, I had the best time ever at Cruise. You should stop by, and I will be coming back again soon!

As we got off the freeway, she looked up and there was a coffee shop right down the street. He stopped in here for a quick bite. The two barista is helping us were incredibly helpful and patient since we had to read everything on the menu. I also loved how their store was set up and they sold local arts and crafts from the community! I love the community aspect here in Santa Cruz County! Perhaps she misread the menu, but she thought "egg stacker" was a sandwich because it was under the "bagel sandwich "category. But under the description, it does not say there's any bread. Lol, which is better for us since we're trying to be gluten-free for the day. I had an ice green tea and a salmon egg which was delicious and filling perfectly made egg with the right amount of capers and seasoning for each bite to have enough flavor on it. The green tea was perfect since it was 92°! I can't wait till we get to the beach! I was sad. They didn't have any nitro coffee, but I will definitely come back to try more pastries since it seems like they were out but then again we got there about 30 minutes before they closed. Lol.
